[Al Arabiya Latest] A Spanish police official says Moroccan demonstrators are blockading the border with the Spanish-occupied enclave of Melilla, preventing all trucks from entering it. Â Melilla has been occupied by Spain for centuries and has some 70,000 people on Morocco’s northern coast. Sweden’s long summer days are presenting a challenge to Muslims fasting for Ramadan, which starts on Wednesday. Religious leaders say the long hours of daylight are not a good excuse to skip the fast.

Muslims in the northern Italian town of Gallarate have been offered a white tent in the local church car park in which to observe Ramadan. The holy fasting month begins early on Wednesday and lasts until 10 September. Turkey Accused of Using Chemical Weapons against Kurds (Eye on the world)
BERLIN (JPost) â€“Â German politicians called on Thursday for an international investigation into the reported use of chemical weapons by the Turkish military. The weapons were used against members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), according to the online edition of the German weekly magazineÂ Der Spiegel.
Just like Muhammad: Kuwaiti beheads shepherd over a camel
(Kuwait) A 25-year-old Kuwaiti man who got the nibbles during the night, instead of looking in the fridge or even popping out for something to eat, went out to his father’s farm and killed a camel. Â Â The shepherd employed by the man’s father, rang the owner, and, in turn, the father rang his son in which to berate him for killing one of his camels. The son, his honour offended, informed his father he would get his revenge.
On being unable to contact the shepherd, the owner went out to his farm and found that his son had killed the shepherd by chopping off his head, then stabbed the body and then burnt it.
On a daily basis we in the UK are bombarded with requests to give money to the victims of Pakistan. Hell, the bBC has no problem trying to get you to give to charities whichÂ purchase food and stuff actuallyÂ in Pakistan, which begs me to ask why should I give to a country which has over 2,000 combat aircraft, 2,000 tanks and nuclear weapons, where plenty of food can be foundÂ inÂ the country. I have no problem helping others, but come on, shouldn’t the people of Pakistan be helping their own first?
