Sweden’s long summer days are presenting a challenge to Muslims fasting for Ramadan, which starts on Wednesday. Religious leaders say the long hours of daylight are not a good excuse to skip the fast.

Things are set to get even more challenging in 2015, when the fast will fall in June.  Continue reading

Any chance the Muslims will ever reciprocate?

Muslims in the northern Italian town of Gallarate have been offered a white tent in the local church car park in which to observe Ramadan. The holy fasting month begins early on Wednesday and lasts until 10 September.  Gallarate’s 7,000 Muslims have been fighting for a mosque since 2005, after the local council closed down several prayer halls on hygiene and security grounds. Just like Muhammad: Kuwaiti beheads shepherd over a camel

(Kuwait) A 25-year-old Kuwaiti man who got the nibbles during the night, instead of looking in the fridge or even popping out for something to eat, went out to his father’s farm and killed a camel.   The shepherd employed by the man’s father, rang the owner, and, in turn, the father rang his son in which to berate him for killing one of his camels. The son, his honour offended, informed his father he would get his revenge.

On being unable to contact the shepherd, the owner went out to his farm and found that his son had killed the shepherd by chopping off his head, then stabbed the body and then burnt it.

Anybody else sick of the news coverage over the Pakistan floods?

On a daily basis we in the UK are bombarded with requests to give money to the victims of Pakistan. Hell, the bBC has no problem trying to get you to give to charities which purchase food and stuff actually in Pakistan, which begs me to ask why should I give to a country which has over 2,000 combat aircraft, 2,000 tanks and nuclear weapons, where plenty of food can be found in the country. I have no problem helping others, but come on, shouldn’t the people of Pakistan be helping their own first?

    From Volume 1, #234

    1.234: Narrated Abu Qilaba:

Anas said, “Some people of ‘Ukl or ‘Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels. The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron. They were put in ‘Al-Harra’ and when they asked for water, no water was given to them.” Abu Qilaba said, “Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle .”

  2. Yes I am truly sick to death of the footage over the pakistani floods..the same thing over and over..but most people seem to have donor fatigue. Their concern is that any money given won’t reach the needy people anyway.
And what of the fires in Russia or the extreme cold in South America or the flooding in Poland…???
And what about donations from Saudi Arabia..oh that is right , it is only western countries that are expected to cough up.

  3. And what about donations from Saudi Arabia..oh that is right , it is only western countries that are expected to cough up.

And oh yes, Christians who do not give are not being charitable Christians as they should, but if they do, are engaging in proseletyzing, and if killed, the BBC has no problems with that.

  4. Turkey has been responsible for multiple genocides, none of which they have ever admitted to.

So why would they admit to a fairly limited scale of killings, just because they may have used chemicals.

  5. Do not give ANY money to help these corrupt paki bastards. The money will not reach the needy – and your generosity will be perverted into being a gift from their ratbag allah. DP111 – the BBC is past its use-by day and it has been hijacked by left wing social reformers who would not be able to even tie a shoe lace.
