President Obama, How Does Islam Advance “the Dignity of All Human Beings” when its Prophet Practiced and Condoned Sex Slavery? David Swindle
First a little morsel from the Baron:
“We Muslims have the same right to practice our religion as anyone else in this country…”
Oh, wait — Sorry! I misquoted Mr. Obama. A fly landed on my computer screen and caused me to misread that last sentence. What the President actually said was: “Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.”
What a difference a “We” makes.
And what difference do We the People make? Virtually none.
Sex Slavery & the Profit Muhammad
These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings. Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality. And here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country. And today, I want to extend my best wishes to the 1.5 billion Muslims around the world – and your families and friends – as you welcome the beginning of Ramadan.
Emphasis mine. Now: how did Muhammad respect the dignity of all human beings? How did Muhammad’s imperial conquests to spread his religious ideology by the sword respect the dignity of all human beings? How does Sharia law — Islam’s legal foundation — respect the dignity of all human beings when it mandates death for  apostates? How does Islam respect human dignity when Mohammed mandated enslaving and raping the captured women of defeated peoples as a legitimate means of spreading the faith?
Really think I’m lying about this last one? From the Koran, Chapter 33, verse 50:
O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
The term “those whom thy right hand possesses” is a euphemism for a concubine or sex slave — a concept part of the “human dignity” of Islam that Obama was talking about. And Muslims — when talking to each other — admit that this is true:The term “those whom thy right hand possesses” is a euphemism for a concubine or sex slave — a concept part of the “human dignity” of Islam that Obama was talking about. And Muslims — when talking to each other — admit that this is true:
Praise be to Allaah.
Islam allows a man to have intercourse with his slave woman, whether he has a wife or wives or he is not married.
A slave woman with whom a man has intercourse is known as a sariyyah (concubine) from the word sirr, which means marriage.
This is indicated by the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and this was done by the Prophets. Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) took Haajar as a concubine and she bore him Ismaa’eel (may peace be upon them all).
Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also did that, as did the Sahaabah, the righteous and the scholars. The scholars are unanimously agreed on that and it is not permissible for anyone to regard it as haraam or to forbid it. Whoever regards that as haraam is a sinner who is going against the consensus of the scholars.

At the iftar dinner, Obama cast his vote with the mosque builders. And then he pulled back.
And then he had his spokesman pull back the pullback. “Just to be clear, the president is not backing off in any way from the comments he made last night,”
