Let’s see Pope John Paul was nearly killed by an Islamic terrorist. Oh and then there was the bomb that exploded in a hotel in the Philippines and missed John Paul. I am surprised there wasn’t several attempts on Benedict in the last 5 years. It’s amazing to me they still try to use Kitmen and Taqqia. We can read people! This isn’t the 8th century anymore.

Good point Cornell. I don’t know. Probably for much the same reason that it’s not reported the death threats against Christine Tasin following the Facebook Fatwa, or the recent Vladikavkaz suicide bombing, or the Chechen would-be Motoon assassin. They all involve Muslims doing things that go against the MSM meme that Islam must at all times be counterfactually referred to as ‘the religion of peace’ (sic).

Probably they’re simply working illegally. They could be failed asylum seekers who “cannot” be deported to Algeria because their views or previous acts are so extreme that they rightly fear their own government (same reason the Royal Navy don’t want to capture Somali pirates). Another possibility is that they have French citixenship.
