“Shared values” on Eid al-Adha include Islamic revisionism

While Hajj Muslims Chant “Death to America,” “Death to Israel”,  Hussein Obama offers up “shared values”

This year’s Eid greetings say, in part:

On Eid, Muslims around the world will commemorate Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son, and distribute food to those less fortunate — a reminder of the shared values and the common roots of three of the world’s major religions.

Those who don’t take religion seriously will read that and recall the account of Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice Isaac, Abraham’s son by Sarah and a Biblical patriarch of the Jewish people. But the Qur’an holds that the son in this account was not Isaac, but Ishmael. That’s a rather significant jab at “the common roots of three of the world’s major religions.”

Still, Robert Spencer gives Obama the benefit of the doubt:

Does this mean Obama is a practicing Muslim behind the White House walls and the mask is slipping? No.

But it is noteworthy in that it is sloppy. If it is intentional, it is disingenuous. If it is unintentional, it is alarmingly bumbling. In either case, it is symptomatic of a policy based on a glossing over of differences, and on lofty but false assumptions of common values, and compatible ideals of human rights and dignity. And the rest of that paragraph only continues to demonstrate all of those issues.

Utterly ignoring Islam’s teachings on the subjugation of women and non-Muslims, cruel and unusual punishments prescribed in the Qur’an, the death penalty for apostasy, and other abuses that hold many Muslim societies in arrested development and threaten human rights in the West does not make those teachings go away. Nor does it do away with the widespread human suffering caused by them.

Wishful thinking is an alarming basis for policy, whether economic, diplomatic, or for national security. And as the old military adage cautions: “Hope is not a method.”

Obama’s Message to Hajj Pilgrims: “a reminder of the shared values”

Atlas Shrugs

Which son?

Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice on Nov. 17, by sacrificial killing of sheep, goats, cows or camels. The slaughter commemorates the biblical story of Abraham, who was on the verge of sacrificing his son to obey God’s command when God interceded by substituting a ram in the child’s place.

The President’s message is consistent, too. Hardwired for submission, surrender, and delusion.

Statement by Muslim POTUS Obama on Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha

Obama: Michelle and I extend our greetings for a happy Eid-ul-Adha to Muslims worldwide and wish safe travels to those performing Hajj.  This year, nearly three million pilgrims from more than 160 countries – including the United States – have gathered in Mecca and neighboring sites to perform the Hajj rituals and stand together in prayer.

On Eid, Muslims around the world will commemorate Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son, and distribute food to those less fortunate - a reminder of the shared values and the common roots of three of the world’s major religions.

There is nothing, even remotely, in common with Judaism or Christianity. As I noted in an earlier post, the mention of Abraham, the first Jew, in Obama’s mash note is particularly galling. That story was stolen from the Jewish people, and the sons switched …….. Issac for Ishmael. Falsifying my religion and that of Christianity is not in my value system.

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?
