Again: Koran Rage in Greece

(Reuters) – Hundreds of Muslims marched through central Athens on Thursday, damaging shops and cars, to protest what they said was the destruction of a Koran by a Greek policeman.

“Koran desecration” is the oldest trick in the book.  False claims of “torn Korans” regularly cause  Mohammedans to burn churches and kill Christians wherever the soldiers of Allah  rule.  It is time to confiscate all these dirty books and burn them in a public square. And if the worshippers of Muhammad object,  they should be treated just like they treat  non-Muslims in the lands they occupy.

The president of the Muslim Union of Greece, Naim Elghandour, said that during police checks at a Syrian-owned coffee shop on Wednesday, an officer took a customer’s Koran, tore it up, threw it on the floor and stomped on it.

In response, about 1,000 immigrants, many from Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan, marched to central Omonia Square, smashing several shop windows and five cars, a police official said.

Police sources said an internal investigation was launched into the Koran incident.

“We were told by police we will be given the name of the policeman who did this so we can press charges,” Elghandour said.

Thousands of immigrants, many from Muslim countries, cross into Greece illegally every year seeking a better life in the West. Trapped in legal limbo, most have no jobs, live in squalid conditions and are often arrested for minor crimes.

On May 9, members of a rightist group attacked immigrants in Athens, sending at least three to hospital. Rights groups accuse predominantly Orthodox Christian Greece of not doing enough to protect immigrants.

  1. I do not believe in burning books, but why not burn a muslim or 2, they kiss christians for a word and treat us all with disrespect in our own nations, why do they not just go back to taliban country and live there in misery, we close the doors and leave them to rot where they love to live

  2. You can burn every book you like ( or don’t like)
because you can’t burn all copies anyway
and you can’t burn the spirituality of
    religious books either.

  3. What they say is a religion is not!!!! I don’t care if they burn, shred or throw them away because they are full of nasty crap!!!!!

  4. The Nazi’s did not have a win in burning books either. Better to expose a book to scrutiny and let the world know what lies between the pages. If you burn them, others will never know. Its the people behind the books who need hindering, not the books themselves. Symbols like the Koran should be kept in tact so we will never forget what lies between the covers. It is evil filth and we have no place for it in a free society and until recently not many had ever heard of its existence. We are just giving them free advertising. They thrive on it.

  5. In Greece there are about 500,000 illegal immigrants of muslim background but estimates put the number in 3,ooo,ooo people.

In Athens, many areas have turned into muslim ghettos and the violent crime rates are very high. Illegal immigrants are involved in black market trade, prostitution, drug trafficking etc. Many illegal immigrants are pickpockets and steal money from people in trains and others form gangs and commit bank robberies, burglaries etc. In central Athens you can see everywhere homeless people and beggars, like a third world country.

Athens used to be a safe city, but now it is very dangerous to go in certain areas, especially in nighttime. Women are a target for illegal immigrants because i suppose the muslims view them as “whores”.

The police has lost control of the situation and local greek people are desperate. The government and the media is accusing the greek people of being intolerant and racist…

Most of illegal immigrants are muslims, and a large proportion of these muslims are radical islamists from pakistan, somalia and afghanistan. There are over 100 illegal mosques in Athens in various appartments and abandoned buildings but the muslims demand more recognition of their religious rights. Now, the state wants to build a huge mosque in a central location in Athens despite the fact that the majority of greek people is against.

  6. Nice one Lorenzo!

Bill thanks. But WHY do they not DEPORT them?

I just don’t get it. They shouldn’t be there in the first place, and now they’re getting a mosque!?

Dr Phil would say “and how’s that workin’ for ya?” I’d say it’s working pretty darn well for them, wouldn’t you? They should be put in their place. And it’s not Europe or America, or anywhere else than where they came from. If they don’t like it they better eff off.

#@%@#$ THIS MAKES ME SO FURIOUS. I feel like stuffing a ham (or even a wooden stake) down that big screaming protesting open jihadi snout.

Sorry for yelling but the more I think about it all the angrier I get. End of rant 🙂 for now 😛 (love the koran reading Babe there though) lol it’s cute 🙂

Why the hell should they protect those trouble-causing criminal invading illegal immigrants!? They should be immensely grateful that those ‘awful’ Greek Orthodox Christians don’t burn their muzzie asses like the muslims burn Christians in places like Egypt. @#$ the koran.

So what if they don’t have jobs or mosques.. they’re not supposed to even be there! This culture of entitlement needs to end with immediate effect. If they are looking for ‘better lives’ in the West, they really should try to fit in with the Westerners – it’s not our fault that their countries are all 3rd world shitholes, it’s theirs – maybe if they did things the way the West does, it would be better, but noooo… democracy is evil. @#$ them. @#$ the koran. @#$ mohammed. and @#$ islam.

Hopefully the Greeks get even angrier than I am right now. MUCH angrier. If their government wants to play appeaser, then I suspect that they have lost touch with reality and the support of the people who voted for them.

Greece needs laws like Arizona’s SB1070 and not a watered down version either. Imagine what would happen when all those protestors got detained and their papers checked, then deported! It would be great.

  7. the case is that the guy the municipal police wqanted to check did not had the proper papers and he was also illegal. Thus he started to yell about the dececration of the Koran..truth is that he never had a koran, because the Koran is not for sell like this. The other muslims who are also illegal and rule the areas of the ghetto do not want controls over the area by the authorities. So they took the chance in order to show that they do not want to be disturbed in their getto, and if sth happens it could easily turned that the authorities were violating and dececrating their religion..the plan is ready. The next time we will see such a provocation from the illegal muslims in the centre of our city they will be deported at once. Loud and clear

  8. Thanks for the info, xkdff 🙂

Sounds about right, can’t say I’m surprised – this is so typical of their way of trying “to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya”, not to mention those no-go zones in your own country which is part of their standard m.o. Is it too much to ask for them all to just implode on themselves?

“The next time we will see such a provocation from the illegal muslims in the centre of our city they will be deported at once. Loud and clear”

That is awesome news 🙂 I think the West can learn a lot from the Greek people in handling these matters. I am worried about the fact that a mosque has now been fast-tracked, but it would be the first mosque in Greece, which surprised me, but please, you must stop that from happening! But for now, NO MOSQUE IN GREECE! That’s really great 🙂

Personally I think they should all be deported anyway – there is no place for islam in civilized countries eg. in Europe. Even if they pretend to behave, they’re still a threat, because it means they’re just biding their time before they attack, as the immigration doctrine (hijra) tells them to do. Being from Greece, I’m sure the story of the Trojan Horse will not be lost on you, and that is exactly what muslim immigration is…

I know some Greek people (not to mention I love Greek food!) and would hate to think what will happen to all those beautiful temples if they gain a foothold there, because they have a way of destroying temples and churches. If they’re not thrown out – every last one of them – they will destroy the culture for sure.

They have to go all of them.
