The Age of Offensive Christmas Trees

Chase orders Southlake bank to remove Christmas tree
SOUTHLAKE — Chase Bank told a businessman to remove the Christmas tree he donated to a local branch because it could offend people. Antonio Morales, owner of Bellagio Day Spa in Southlake, had assembled and decorated a 9-foot-tall tree in the lobby of the Chase Bank branch at 1700 E. Southlake Boulevard as a favor to the branch manager, who is one of his clients.
I suppose the above pictured Islam-themed new age variety would be acceptable to the nihilists?
The tree remained in the lobby from the Monday before Thanksgiving until Tuesday. Morales said his friend called him Wednesday to tell him the tree had to go. She later showed him an e-mail from JPMorgan Chase saying that the tree had to be removed because some people were offended by it.

Iowa:
A Christmas tree in Ames High School’s cafeteria was taken down just two days after it was donated to the school for its winter dance. School officials say they removed the decoration after several phone calls stating it was “offensive.” Ames school district officials call it a “winter tree,” but students say the tree was clearly a Christmas tree. Both described it as a pine tree decorated with cardinal and gold lights and ornaments.
Philadelphia’s ‘Christmas Village’ Renamed ‘Holiday Village’ Due To Complaints
For three years in a row, the German Christmas Village of Dilworth Plaza in Philadelphia has set up wooden booths and tree vendors on the west side of City Hall. But yesterday something was amiss. The tall metal archways signaling the entrances to the shops held just one word – ‘Village.’ Turns out the word ‘Christmas’ was removed on the plaza’s archways and will be replaced with the word ‘Holiday‘ at the request of Managing Director Richard Negrin. This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.
But you won't be back, trust me on that.
Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

A Christmas tree can offend a couple of people & be removed
A GZM can offend millions and go ahead
Islam and Muslims are offensive to millions of peace-loving humans and it is about time that the Muslims were deported to their sharia compliant hell-holes.
Christmas trees should not be in a public school and religious holidays should not be celebrated in public schools. This includes, Christmas, Easter, Quanza, Yom Kippur, or Halloween etc. I’m sick of these public schools using up precious class time for this garbage. Religious holidays need to be celebrated at home with family and friends. I for one do not want my kids exposed to Quanza or any other religious holiday that does not fit in with my faith.

The Christmas tree went because it was “offensive”, but how long will this remain in the student planner because it breaches guess who’s “rights”?

[The district's policy on religion says, "The district is required by law to keep the practice of religion out of the school curriculum. Preferential or derogatory treatment of any religion shall not take place." ]
* The “winter tree” has gone, but I suspect one group will get preferential treatment, if it isn’t getting it already.
The tree is a sign of the solstice, a new year, evergreen and hope.
It originated in Germany and has NOTHING to do with Christmas, religion or any gods.
Trouble with these ‘officials’ is, there are all bloody ignorant!
Atheists know these things and the muslims (yes no doubt it was they who were ‘offended’ – aren’t they always?) are deliberatly ignorant of other cultures.

I don’t have the link any more, but the name has been re-instated.The link was sent by David Rusin at Islamist Watch,
I agree, and it’s actually in the constitution, in fact the FIRST amendment. Religion should be kept away from public schools.
