While Egypt is in meltdown: all your statues are belong to us….

Of course, of course.

The soldiers of Allah really have a real knack for statues.

Especially because Mohammedans consider everything pre-Islamic the period of Jahiliyyah, the  time of ‘ignorance’. And the wife-beatin’, profit’s excrement’s & urine slurping, statue-hatin’ Mufti Ali Gomaa,  grand mufti of Al Azhar, Islam’s grandest institute of higher learning,  clearly has no need for it either: Egypt’s grand mufti issues fatwa: no sculptures

For a believing Muslim, nothing the ancient Egyptians produced has any value,  not the sphinx or the pyramids or  the tomb of Tutankhamun. There is no statue,  no work of art  or music that is permissible  (haram) in the eyes of  Allah.  What matters is Islam, nothing but Islam. What matters is spreading the religion, and if the world burns in the process let it burn!

But no, its not that simple. When it comes to ancient treasures, the soldiers of Allah have no scruples to make their claims, even though Egypt is in turmoil:

Egypt has requested the return of the Nefertiti bust (eye on the world)

Egypt has formally requested January 24, 2011, the return of the famous 3,400-year-old bust of Nefertiti, which is part of a permanent Egyptian exhibition on display at the New Museum in Berlin. 1. Ya see what happens when a conquest is permitted to get out of hand?
Okay, okay, so the Arab Conquest occurred in the 7th Century and the UN was even created yet. Big deal! The UN wouldn’t have done a thing anyway – not then, and not today. The Egyptians of ancient Egypt were not Arab; the Arabs have no justifiable turf claim on Egypt, despite Gamel Adbel Nasser and his ‘United Arab Republic’. Save the statues, f*ck the ‘rab revolution.
