The most notorious one is Greens’ leader, Bob Brown.

I wonder if they have ever read what Islam says about homosexuals, or maybe they think that, being part of the elite, they are untouchable.

This is partly true, because the elite in the Arab world practice homosexuality on a regular basis and the dire punishments promised in the unholy scripts do not seem to apply to them.

Like most things within Islam, there seems to be one rule for the elites and another for the foot soldiers of allah.
