KRudd, Al Qaeda's Useful Idiot

Our union boss joins the Arab uprising

Again: Glenn Beck is right. The unions play a much bigger role in the Islamic ‘revolution’ in the ME than most of us can possibly imagine.

Sharan Burrow: “I came away from Tunisia incredibly proud of the work that the unions have done in helping to organise the revolution and I was really humbled by the courage a lot of ordinary workers and union members have been showing,” she tells Inquirer. (The Islamo-Socialist Convergence)

US Troops join Al Qaeda, Rebels in Libya (Atlas)

You might have guessed Libya was KRudd’s fault

“Credited” or “blamed” KRudd?

ONE of Europe’s highest-ranking diplomats has credited Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd with helping change the international mood on Libya, leading to implementation of a no-fly zone.

While stopping short of saying Mr Rudd had any direct impact on the UN no-fly resolution, the European Union’s senior foreign policy adviser, Robert Cooper, said Mr Rudd’s activism on the issue had been noticed by the key international players.

Let’s check on who is being helped most by Rudd’s no-fly zone:

Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links

Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, the Libyan rebel leader, has said jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq are on the front lines of the battle against Muammar Gaddafi’s regime.

Mr al-Hasidi insisted his fighters “are patriots and good Muslims, not terrorists,” but added that the “members of al-Qaeda are also good Muslims and are fighting against the invader”. (source)

Meanwhile, the operation itself has all the oganisational neatness of a government pink batts scheme:

A NATO decision to take charge of a no-fly zone over Libya does not include conducting air strikes against Muammar Gaddafi’s ground forces, a mission that will remain in U.S. hands until a new command deal is reached, Vice Admiral Bill Gortney said on Friday.

There’s a traitor in the white house:

If sending the US military into combat on behalf of al-Qaeda doesn’t qualify as treason, how about this. The Obama Regime deliberately allowed American guns to be smuggled into Mexico, knowing that they would be used to create mayhem when they inevitably bounced back across the deliberately under-defended border. The purpose: to undermine our constitutional right to bear arms by using American-bought guns in Mexican hands as a propaganda cudgel. Border Agent Brian Terry, while providing free police services to illegal aliens, was killed by one of these weapons when he was sent up against heavily armed Mexican bandits with a beanbag gun. Details from Wayne LaPierre of the NRA, via the Glenn Beck show:

The Obama Misadministration apparently wants to scapegoat the Phoenix ATF office, but a plan this deranged could only have come from inside the Beltway. If this goes beyond Eric Holder to the very top of the dung heap — and the thorough congressional investigation that is obviously required will probably prove that it does — the only question is, do we impeach Obama for: A) treason, B) gross incompetence, C) complicity in Bryan Terry’s murder, or D) all of the above.

  1. Decoding Libya by ANDREW C. McCARTHY

Sharia can tell us how this story ends.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve willfully blinded ourselves to the Rosetta Stone that decodes our enemy’s war doctrine. But the jihad (or shall we call it “kinetic Islam”?) is catalyzed not by al-Qaeda but by sharia — by Muslim law. So is the “Arab Spring,” now playing in Tripoli (and elsewhere) after rave reviews in Cairo.

I have been opposed to our country’s starting a war against Libya. And starting a war is exactly what we have done, exactly what we would call it if the shoe were on the other foot — the “kinetic” and “limited” obfuscations of intervention proponents notwithstanding. My opposition is fourfold.
