The Paki Report: a Failed State is Failing Some More…..

Turning a blind eye to the blood-thirsty clerics

Pakistan is being swamped by a rising tide of religious hatred, while its political leaders remain silent, writes Praveen Swami.

“the accused have no prospect of defending themselves, because to introduce their blasphemous statements would itself be blasphemy. If witnesses say you blasphemed, you’re guilty.”  (Blasphemy)

George Fulton’s failed love affair with Pakistan

“For Fulton, Pakistan is very close to becoming a failed state. He doesn’t think democracy will last much longer.”

Pakistan was a failed state from the beginning. Democracy? Democracy under Islam? Its not that you can build something on Islam and call it something else.

Good luck, Fulton: run for your life!   (source)

Nobel Prize:

It might be of interest to note that the Nobel-price means nothing to Muslims. The gravestone of the only Nobel-prize winning Paki-physicist Abdus Salam –  now reads, bizarrely, “the First Nobel Laureate” – the word ‘Muslim’ is gauged out.

Back to the twisted  Paki world view described by  Praveen Swami who wrote the first article above in the Telegraph:

“Foreign Powers defame the country”

Matters have not been helped by a mass media that often endorses the religious right’s conspiratorial world-view. The Urdu-language newspaper Jang carried a special supplement on Friday, blaming foreign powers for killing Mr Bhatti, as part of a conspiracy to defame the country. The English-language News, in turn, speculated about the role of Xe, the US security contractor, Indian spies and “a white foreigner who is acting as a ‘security consultant’ in Islamabad”.

Pakistan’s blasphemy laws demonstrate to its people that real power lies with the clerics, and their military backers – not the politicians they elect.

If that’s the case, why does the West waste billions of dollars on the mustachioed jerks?

One reader -almost- gets it right:

So now the foreigners are responsible for the heinous crimes which are being perpetrated almost on a daily basis in that most WONDERFUL of all countries!

Therefore let us remember Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged at the behest of a foreign power by the despot Zia Ul Haq who in turn was blown into smithereens on a clear sky at a specific order of a foreign power. Bhutto’s two sons were murdered (one in Paris and the other in Pakistan) because another foreign power did not like them. Benezir Bhutto was murdered because of a suspicious foreigner who arranged for her execution. Mr Taseer and Mr Bhatti were murdered because of a foreign power which disapproves of christians living in a highly civilised country like Pakistan. Mrs Asiya Noreen, an unfortunate christian, and the 17 year old school boy and the doctor will most probably meet with the same fate. And their heroic murderers will be showered with scented rose petals with the cry of ‘ Islam is a very peaceful religion’. By the way their executions too were ordered by foreign powers to defame the good name of Pakistan.

All will be well in Pakistan, as long as the West is blackmailed for more and more hand-outs. Pakistan should remember to warn the West of the consequences of refusal.

‘ the Taliban will capture these 130 nuclear war heads (which West’s intelligence should never have disclosed) and send the sub-continent back to the stone age and the govt can’t be held responsible for their action’.

  1. Hang your head in shame you idiot muslims. I want the judge who murdered this woman blown off this planet.

  2. “The police in Islamabad are trying to find a scapegoat to save themselves, and hide their failure” on jihad murder of Christian politician

Big surprise here. “Police try to downplay murder of Shahbaz Batthi. Fears for Asia Bibi,” by Jibran Khan for AsiaNews, March 12 (thanks to JW):

Islamabad (AsiaNews) – Recenet [sic] statements by the inspector General of Police, Wajid Ali Durrani, reveal a worrying attempt to cover up the murder of Shahbaz Bhatti, Pakistani minister for minorities. The inspector said in a press conference that the Catholic minister, threatened several times by radical Muslims for his position on the blasphemy law may have been killed because of a “personal enmity”. “We are examining the details of the situation, since he had bad relations with some local groups,” said the inspector, adding that a more detailed report will be issued soon.
The bishop of Islamabad-Rawalpindi, Mgr. Anthony Rufin has rejected the statement out right, saying it is motivated by the “failure of the Islamabad police to arrest the culprits. They are trying to direct attention in another direction. The police in Islamabad are trying to find a scapegoat to save themselves, and hide their failure. It is clear that Shahbaz Bhatti was under threat from extremists. He was martyred for speaking in favour of an amendment of the blasphemy law. ”

The bishop adds: “Previously, the Interior Minister Rehman Malik has tried to escape responsibility by saying that his ministry was not in charge of providing an armoured car, the Cabinet of Ministers has however said that it had instructed the Ministry of Interior to give Bhatti a bulletproof vehicle. This tragic event has united Christians throughout Pakistan. The game of the shirking responsibilities, or attempts to deflect the issue will not affect our struggle. We will not let the blood of this martyr be spilt in vain”….
