  1. Easter is a celebration of pagan ancestors and developed from the Old English word Eastre which itself developed prior to 899. The name refers to Eostur-monath a month of the Germanic calendar attested by Bede, who writes that the month is named after the goddess Eostre of Anglo-Saxon paganism.

  2. Good news. Crucial matter which must be fought for, over and over, until the new Isabella, of our time shows up. Happy Easter!

  3. atheist, I have been taught that the Catholic Church had a habit of subsuming old feast days into their new feast days to gently ease the masses over to Christianity. At the core of the Easter Bunny phenomenon
is the carriage of Our Lord’s story down the generations for over 2,000 years. We don’t hear about the pagan feast days at all!!! I think it is a smart policy.

  4. I came a cross a little morsel of good news yesterday. Shoaib Assadullah is an Afghan convert to Christianity who was jailed and ordered revert back to islam or be executed back in January. For months I’ve been trying to find new information about him and I’ve finally found it. He is out of jail & alive! Please see my blog to read about it:
There is so much bad news wherever the religion of pieces is involved, I feel it’s important to share whatever good news we can get hold of.
