The usual suspects, the usual tricks. There has to be a market for fools gold, and you can get it if you want it. The peaceful Islam that doesn’t strike terror in the hearts of unbelievers is just around the corner. All we need is to convince the multicultural serfs in Canberra to screw the much maligned Aussie taxpayers some more, so they cough up the cash for this Islamic da’awa project.

AUSTRALIA’S first Islamic museum is to be built in Thornbury and will work to dispel stereotypes of the often misunderstood religious minority.
The project is spearheaded by a group of Melbourne Muslims, including prominent business figures Ahmed and Moustafa Fahour, and will seek to showcase the community’s cultural contribution in a mainstream museum setting.
Modelled on ventures such as the Chinese Museum, the Museo Italiano in Carlton and the Jewish Museum in St Kilda, the idea for a precinct emphasising heritage and art drawn from the more than 60 ethnicities who identify as Muslim here was developed by Macquarie banker Moustafa Fahour and his wife Maysaa.
”I am a very proud Australian Muslim,” says Moustafa Fahour, 29, one of eight children born to Lebanese migrant parents who settled in Melbourne in the 1960s.
Maysaa Fahour, 27, a teacher who has assumed the chairmanship of the board that will oversee the museum and raise funds for the construction, approached her brother-in-law, Australia Post chief Ahmed Fahour, at a family barbecue and he agreed to become the museum’s patron.
The venture has recently been granted charity status by the Australian Tax Office and has the personal endorsement of Victoria’s Multicultural Affairs Minister Nick Kotsiras.
Land has already been acquired at a Thornbury industrial site. While plans to refit the former factory will have to go through council approval processes, the Darebin Council had signalled that an Islamic museum would be welcome in the neighbourhood, Moustafa Fahour said.
The museum will include a permanent exhibition featuring basic information about Muslims’ religious beliefs provided in a digestible form to the public.
School groups are also expected to tour on a daily basis.
”As a mother, I love the NGV and Scienceworks and have my kids participate in knowledgeable activities. Nowhere was there something about Islam … It struck me as something to really strive for,” said Mrs Fahour, who settled here as a child-migrant from Lebanon.
Apart from a six-member board, which has been collaborating on the idea for about two years, an advisory committee includes SBS board member Hass Dellal, Immigration Museum manager Padmini Sebastian and ABC personality and politics lecturer Waleed Aly. Islamic art expert Phillip George is among the arts advisers.
At the 2006 census there were more than 340,000 Muslims in Australia, of whom 128,904 were born here.

Will they show a pictorial section on our rape victims. Will they catalogue the number of people who have been robbed. Will it show files from our police on the bashing of women (I can supply some). Will they show shattered lives due to our court system that allows Islam to walk free. Will they show the hidden guns, rocket launchers, hand guns, and automatic rifles. Will they show the hideous aftermath of their daughters after home clitoral surgery. Will they show their involvement in the drug trade. I could go on all day. I have not got to the really good parts yet including their involvment in the monetary system in our country. The rebirthing of cars. If there is crime – you will find them.
I must stop, but if they did do a museum on their so called “culture”, then how justify its existence? Islam would have to show their involvment in 9/11 and the Bali Bombing, Spanish bombings, London Bombings, the list is endless and must include the cretons known as Mufti’s in our country. Hilali would need a section all of his own the lying, cheating bag of humbuggary. And there are many more. When did we need Halal food?
When did we need Islamic schools? When did we accept their dress code? And why! Why do we accept thousands of male Muslims in boats who effectively push others seeking to come here aside in their wake. It all smells of stupidity.
But, who are the stupid Australians allowing these acts to go on unhindered. It wont matter a rat’s ars who goes into politics because the party machines are firmly in place. We live in a country of inaction. This is what will kill the lot of us. As an Australian of 7 generations, I am ashamed of us. So ashamed.
I grew up in Thornbury. This is an abomination. Darebin has long been full of leftwing onanists. Just look at how many parks in Darebin are off-limits to dogs. Someone should point out to these moslems that in the old days every second property in Thornbury and Preston was a pig farm.

So far, islamic ‘museums’ have shown Persian, Indian, Egyptian and Arabian art and works – labelling them islamic because those countries are NOW islamic.
The main theme here seems to be that all these cultures were inherently islamic – they just didn’t realise it – in the same way that Moses was a muslim.

They could, but if they did this, they wouldn’t be Muslims.
Remember, war is deceit, and however many Harmony Days we organise and however much we make nice to them in Interfaith, they will always be at war with us.
Only when we realise this simple fact will we be able to fight back.

To those who critizise me that’s ok. We are still a free country and it is your right to do so. However, I have a right to speak also and it is doubters like you that will bring our country down. These things happened to me – I cant help that. It was none of my doing.

How about taking the weight off your brains and get out there and hand out your flyers, attend the protests – your extra strength would help those of us who do. You should use guerilla advertising. tactics to turn them over. Here in teh mother country we are expected to put up with the same kind of nonsense all you need is some copy’s of their propaganda – booklets, flyers, poster’s – a friendly printer and some volunteers. Take the propaganda remove the bollox add the truth, get it printed up and replace their crap with some truth. It wont cost much and will, if kept up, not only annoy the granny out of them but help get the message out. the bigger their reaction the better for you. NFSE
