Blasphemy: "Paki Muslims demand a ban on the Bible"

While most politicians and journalists still shrug off the evidence of Islamisation as dog-whistling by “extreme right wing racists” and “islamophobic alarmists”, both blatant and subtle efforts to make Australia more agreeable to Islam continue at a steady pace. In fact no other religious group is more brazen and constantly in the face of Australians; as highly visible and offensive.

Just take their latest ideas for billboards and bus ads in Sydney (1a), spruiking blatant falsehoods to incite religious division (see left and below). But more often it is the more subtle and deceitful tactics for which the following facts may serve as timely reminders.

Paki Islamic party appeals to supreme court to ban the Bible (JW)

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s demands make them look weak and afraid, as they send the message to the rest of the world that their faith cannot hold its own in the free market of ideas or stand up to a challenge. Then again, avoiding the challenge altogether is often the idea. Clamping down on free speech can be as much a cynical labor-saving device as a power play.

But it is not just about them. This measure, if approved, would accelerate the purge of Christianity from Pakistan that they and their fellow travelers wish to complete. The ban would be an assault on liturgy, prayer, and teaching, effectively criminalizing every element of Christian religious life. It would be a giant step in the ongoing campaign to make life so intolerable as to induce Christians to leave the country or convert under terror.

“Pakistani Muslims demand a ban on the Bible,” from Fides, June 3:

Paki Political Party Seeks Court Action against ‘Porno-graphic’ Bible…

Christian politicians and Church leaders June 2 strongly condemned allegations made by a Muslim organisation of “pornography” in the Bible.

Julius Salik, convener of World Minorities Alliance and a former federal minister, said it was an injustice to Christians and a violation of their religious freedom.

“The undue interference in our religious matters would cause disputes and discord among the followers of both religions”, he stated in a press statement.

A religious political party is seeking redress for what it claims is “pornographic” content in the Bible.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam appealed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan to examine “blasphemous materials” in the Bible during a press conference on May 30 in Lahore.

Party leader Maulana Abdul Rauf Farooqi and other clerics quoted “immoral Biblical stories” and stated that “such insertions strongly offend Muslims, who hold all prophets and holy books in high esteem as part of religious belief and never even think of committing any blasphemy against them.”

There were no chances of any clash between the two religions as long as the courts are functioning, said Farooqi. “Our lawyers are preparing to ask the court to ban the book; we will not follow in the footsteps of Terry Jones and burn the holy book”, he said.

The Church in Pakistan, and the rest of the world, condemned Pastor Terry Jones of Florida for ordering the burning a Qur’an more than two months ago. However the aftermath continues as Church leaders feared.

“These are attempts to wage crusades”, said Father James Channan, regional coordinator for the United Religious Initiative.

He termed the clerics’ demand a “strong blow to Christians” in the country. “It’s a degrading move. We shall defend our manual for life at every level. The supreme court cannot head to such madness.”

“Nobody in the world can judge the Bible. It’s a mad response to an equally mad act done by an individual”, said Bishop Timotheus Nasir, head of the United Presbyterian Church.

  1. * The ban would be an assault on liturgy, prayer, and teaching, effectively criminalizing every element of Christian religious life.

And when implemented globally, or in much of the world, it signals quite a few things – including the end of islam.

“… And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. …”
    (Revelation 17:5 & 6)

“The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.” (Revelation 17:16)

allah’s slaves have no idea what they are messing with, or what will become of them.

  2. Of course, while Pakistan spills the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus, muslims in Australia only want to “educate” us, and dispel misconceptions of islam …

    Islamic ads ‘educate average Aussie’

[THE advertising campaign has been called provocative, but MyPeace founder Diaa Mohamed said that his aim is to educate Australians about Islam.]

[Neil El-Kadomi, Chairman of the Parramatta Islamic Cultural Association, said that the billboards were harmless.

“They aim to bring dialogue and to find a common ground with other religions. It is an opportunity to build bridges with the community,” he said.]

  3. Indeed the Bible shows the human nature of man. No human is perfect (except of course the Lord when He walked upon this earth as a human). But we are to strive to become perfect even as our God is perfect.

The Table (Al-Ma’ida) 5:49, 10 AH. – “And in their footsteps (of Moses and the Jews) We sent Jesus the son of Mary, attesting to (the truth of) the Torah which was between his hands; and We gave him the Gospel – therein is guidance and light and attesting to (the truth of) the Torah which was between his hands: a guidance and an admonition to the righteous.”
A.J. Arberry translation of the Quran

“He sent down to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.” S. 3:3 Khalifa

Of course many would say that the Koran abrogated the Bible. But
    “When we substitute one revelation for another, – and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), …” (Surah 16:101). But this does not state that Allah replaced one ‘Kitab’ (book) with another but one ‘aya’ for another (‘aya’ principally means ‘sign’.) {Thanks to: http://www.word.org.uk/Articles/the-quran-has-abrogated-the-bible-really}

    1. “Of course many would say that the Koran abrogated the Bible”

      From a poster above.

      Here’s your answer:

Fartwa: Muslims can use Bible for cleaning after defecation

Fartwa: Despising the Torah or the New Testament

Question: “Does someone who insults the Torah or the New Testament engage in apostasy, given that these include some words of God?”

Answer: “It would be impermissible to disdain the Torah and New Testament if they contained the truth and the name of the exalted, such as the name of God the Most High. Whoever does this [i.e., disrespect the books] knowingly and by choice would be considered an apostate and would be despised by God. But [in fact] the Torah and New Testament do not have anything exalted in them. They are known to have been corrupted, so there is no problem disdaining them.

Ash-Shams[ad-Din] Ar-Ramli [d.1004 A.D.] said in [his book of fiqh] Nihayat al-Muhtaj: “It is impermissible to use respected books like those of hadith and fiqh for anal cleansing after defecation (al-istinja’,الأستنجاء ), but non-respected books like philosophy, Torah and the New Testament, which are known as corrupt and which do not contain exalted names, can be used for anal cleansing after defecation.”

  4. The word of God was written through his prophets, and disciples, in other words, many witnesses of God’s people. At the end of the Bible, it is precisely written that there should not be anything added or altered from his word, its his final and complete instruction for our world, it cannot be compared to the Qur’an who is the word of one man and even in the Qur’an it stated that there should be 4 witness to make something truthfull in (Light 24:12) .

  5. * Australian Muslim Group Urged to Stop Offending Christians…

Far better to urge them to repent, and be saved:

“For the Message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are on the way to perdition, but it is the power of God to those whom He is saving.” (1 Corinthians 1:18)

“But if even we or an angel from Heaven should bring you a Good News different from that which we have already brought you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8)

A false gospel is what islam brings, and cursed are those who bring it.
