Australia: 1000 Muslim Perverts Meet to Misinterpret Islam

Andrew Bolt

I’d love to report all those Muslim spokesman rejecting this poison:

MUSLIMS in Australia were urged yesterday to join the uprisings that have toppled regimes across the Middle East, to renounce moderate forms of the religion and to reject democracy

, during a day-long conference sponsored by a radical Islamic organisation.

Hizb ut-Tahrir, a fundamentalist group that calls for the establishment of a caliphate stretching from the Middle East to Indonesia, hosted the event at Lidcombe, which drew about 1000 people

Muslims obligated to resist democracy, say radicals think Bilal Merhi is a ‘radical?’

The keynote speaker, Dr Mohammad Jeelani, said the West had decided to ‘’plant a cancer in the Muslim world’’, and that cancer was the state of Israel.

The group openly rejects democratic government and tells Muslims in Australia to boycott elections.

(Boycott elections?  We’ll know they’re serious when they tell them to boycott welfare.)

If this is a perversion of Islam, I’d expect Muslims to fight it furiously – not least to protect the good name of their faith. If it is in fact a mainstream interpretation, I’d expect the Federal Government to limit immigration of people hostile to our freedoms.

(‘Limit?’  How about reverse?)

Update: Keysar (the moderate) Trad tries damage control:

Chairman of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, Keysar Trad, said the views of Hizb ut-Tahrir were not shared by the majority of mainstream Australian Muslims. “We would like to see the conflict in Afghanistan resolved peacefully and Australian troops return home safely,” he said.

  1. Every disaster can be cured by throwing taxpayers money at it. Right?

SOMALI youths living in western Sydney have been identified as a potential source of future home grown violent extremism according to intelligence given to the federal government.

The government will directly fund specific counter-terrorism programs aimed at Sydney’s Somali community to prevent marginalised youth being lured into radical groups.

    Not ‘the government’— working families.

Attorney-General Robert McClelland will today announce $1.7 million in grants to 22 local community organisations as part of a Rebuilding Resilience in the Community program.

Two of those programs will be aimed directly at Sydney’s west and south western Somali refugee community.

While there is no evidence that any have links to those involved in an alleged Melbourne terror cell smashed by police in 2009, local leaders say there is a risk that young people in Sydney could be drawn into radical groups.

“Intelligence and feedback from the community form a key part of the evidence base that drives Australia’s Countering Violent Extremism program,” Mr McClelland said. (Telegraph)

There’s nothing that taxpayers money can’t fix, right?

The ultimate goal is community harmony

More money wasted to alloy iron with clay. More ice-cream spoiled by mixing it with feces.

In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.

    Ayn Rand Quote

Perhaps this is one email that needs to be forwarded until every Australian with a computer receives it.

The year is 1907, over one hundred years ago….

Sir Edmund Barton’s ideas on Immigrants and being an Australian in 1907.

‘In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an Australian and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an Australian, and nothing but an Australian.. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an Australian, but something else also, isn’t an Australian at all. We have room for but one flag, the Australian flag…. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the Australian people.’

    Edmund Barton

Every Australian citizen needs to read this! KEEP THIS MOVING

(For those who don’t know Edmund Barton was Australia’s first PM)

  2. Well,,looks like we’re back in the 1930’s!

    July 4, 2011

    It’s all the Jews’ Fault.

A disturbing letter appears in today’s SMH:

    Think again

The wise and timely essay by Samantha Selinger-Morris (”Old hatreds in a new medium”, July 2-3) raises an issue that should make Jewish community leaders in Australia rethink their attitudes to the growth of anti-Semitism.

Tragically this upsurge of racism is attributable directly to the perceived suffering the Israeli government has imposed on the Palestinian people. The current Israeli government is more responsible for the spread of anti-Semitism worldwide than any ratbag racist groups waving symbols of Germany in the 1930s.

To Jewish leaders in Australia, Israel can do no wrong. They have closed minds to the damage being done to the image of Jews internationally by the intransigent attitude of Netanyahu and his extremist supporters.

Intellectuals, including many more thoughtful and perceptive Jews, realise this dilemma. They should be listened to rather than dismissed as anti-Semitic.

    Vincent Matthews Forestville

Get that? The Government of Israel is doing more for Jew-hatred than the Nazis. Yes, the SMH actually printed that.

  3. I think the problem with Muslims is that they feel inferior in every way, they are ugly inside and outside, what’s with the pub hair growing on their faces, they can’t even grow a proper one. Even these women yelling in front of Max Brenner, soooo ugly….now I understand the burqa, they are definitely the “UGLY CHOSEN ONE” what a shame for such a beautiful country like Australia.

  4. Sheik,
    Interesting that you mentioned “faeces”.
I’ve read that a multiculturist is a person who believes that it is possible to polish a turd while a PC person (of course) wants to invent a new name for it while ignoring the stink.

  5. * Two of those programs will be aimed directly at Sydney’s west and south western Somali refugee community.

Apart from Somali groups, who else might get their snouts in the trough?

Grants to help communities tackle violent extremism

    [the overtly muslim ones]

    Forum on Australia’s Islamic Relations

    Islamic Council of Queensland

    Islamic Council of Victoria

    Lebanese Moslem Association

    Victorian Arabic Social Services

    [the not so obvious ones]

City of Darebin (looks innocuous enough, but down below)

[City of Darebin — Salam Alaykum “Darebin’s Muslims Reaching Out” – Darebin, VIC

The program will build community connections and engagement between Darebin’s Muslim community and the broader Darebin community, and will build the Omar bin Al -Kattab Mosque’s capacity to manage community relations to develop and implement strategies that prevent the development of extremist views that can threaten community cohesion. The project will involve youth from the Muslim community to run team building activities with a focus on encouraging them to be more trusting of one another and encourage a positive connection with the wider community.]

    * And what will Forum on Australia’s Islamic Relations be doing?
Why, pushing “moderate” islam, of course:

[Forum on Australia’s Islamic Relations Inc. (FAIR) —Southern Crescent On-line Peace Initiative – Auburn, NSW

The project will create an interactive website/portal geared for youth. The portal will include live chat sessions and commonly asked questions answered by international Islamic scholars to promote and educate youth about the positive and moderate calling of Islam and expand on various meanings and interpretations. As part of the project a short video documentary (15 minutes) will explore intercultural or interfaith issues and will focus on three themes; initiating peace, building cohesion, and working towards action.]

    * La Trobe University (another one below the fold)

[La Trobe University — Young Muslim Leadership Development: A program in Social Dialogue and Community Resilience – Melbourne, VIC

The project will develop a training program, resources and a network for young people to help create an environment, in which young Australian Muslims are aided and empowered to play socially constructive leadership roles in their respective communities. The three linked components will also help empowered individuals gain greater prominence in the wider Australian community, and in an emerging international dialogue-centred network of Muslim intellectuals.]

    * Lebanese Moslem Association – what might they be doing with their jizzyah? Why, “dispelling misconceptions”, among other things

[Lebanese Moslem Association — Sharing Humanity – Lakemba, NSW

The project will seek to develop Young Muslim Leadership (10 males and 10 females) to enable young people to develop the skills and build the confidence necessary to influence members of their peer group and the community at large. The project will work to build understanding and equip Muslims with the theological fundamentals that counter extremist ideologies, dispel misconceptions and develop their role as citizens, leaders and positive role models so that they can become “leaders” for mainstream Islam and assert their Australian identity.]

    * How about the University of Melbourne?

[University of Melbourne — Development of a common curriculum Framework in Islamic Studies for Islamic Schools (NCEIS) – Melbourne, VIC

In collaboration with the leadership and teachers of selected Islamic schools and Muslim peak bodies, the NCEIS will design and develop a Common Curriculum Framework (CFF) for teaching Islamic Studies in Australian Islamic primary and secondary schools. The CCF will help to create discerning students, who are able to differentiate mainstream, traditional Islam from violent extremism. Subjects, such as the Qur’an and Islamic History, will be presented with adherence to traditional principles. Acknowledging Australia’s multicultural context, the CCF will also include a range of new topics which address issues relevant to Muslims in Australia, such as: Islam and the modern state, Islam and women, and Islam and other faiths.]

    * Victorian Arabic Social Services – “mutual understanding of diversity”. Tell him he’s dreaming!

[Victorian Arabic Social Services — Curbing Radicalisation through Youth Resilience and Community Partnerships – City of Hume, VIC

The project will develop and facilitate a series of workshops and activities aimed at building resilience by providing avenue for positive expression and mutual understanding of diversity. Activities for Arabic speaking youth living in the municipality of Hume, Moreland and Hobson’s Bay will engage young people by providing them with opportunities to express themselves such as making a computer game, creating a short film, media training and utilising media outlets such as youth radio and television.]

    * The rest can be teased out ’til they are all about islam & how to sugar coat it for the dhimmis funding it.
