London Riots Through the Lens of the Guardian

Picture of the Week

It’s “the Guardian’s selective ethnic radar.”

Guardian report on London riots omits the race or ethnicity of rioters – but, still mentions Jews….More here

Whitey strips down to his underwear before handing over the loot to a black cultural enricher

This picture is -of course- not from the Guardian, but from PI:

Whitey forced to strip by a  black cultural enricher.

Forced to strip naked in the street: Shocking scenes as rioters steal clothes and rifle through bags as people make their way home . This picture shows the shocking depths the thugs were prepared to plumb – stealing the clothes from a man’s back.

The taller, broader man already holds a pair of white and green trainers and a white T-shirt in his hands. Now, it seems, he wants the trousers too.  The shorter man dutifully removes his jeans, leaving only his dark blue underpants and his white socks. (Daily Mail)

 Stickin’ it to the Rich

Here we have an audio track from a couple of rioters, who said they did it to teach rich people a lesson.   You know — those nasty, evil rich people, the ones who save for years and work fourteen-hour days build their retail businesses. Yeah, that’ll show ’em! The greedy buggers!

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this clip:

Looters attack diners at Michelin-starred Ledbury

Diners at the two Michelin-starred restaurant The Ledbury in Notting Hill were attacked by looters who stormed the dining room demanding jewellery and phones.

Gangs of masked youths wearing hoodies and wielding weapons smashed through the glass front door of the restaurant, ransacking the dining room before snatching jewellery.

Witnesses said that staff at the restaurant leapt to their defence, eventually managing to chase the intruders away with rolling pins and other kitchen implements. But a short  while later the mob returned. (More)

Vlad Tepes: Typically, people going in to a restaurant and robbing everyone inside is more a central American thing. Britain should be pleased that it has achieved its multicultural goals.

  1. Suppose the only good news at the moment is that the guardian is having financial problems and may go bankrupt. I don’t like to see people losing jobs, however, in this case can make an exception.

  2. The Brixton and Toxteth riots were about racism in the police force and British society more generally, whereas last weeks riots, although starting out with a similar cause in mind, soon degenerated into a criminal free for all, as the huddies couldn’t resist the array of free bling and plasma screen tellies on offer . Which in many ways is a sad indictment of our consumer society.

Yet this generation of feral kids can’t be blamed for their own primitive nature – for how can poor dumb animals be guilty of being wild – or as Jesus put it ‘forgive them lord, for they know not what they do’. The real guilt lies at the door of Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown and now Cameron who have, between them, created a Frankenstein’s monster – through their obsession with the freedom of the market , rapid globalisation and the exponential downsizing of mines, factories, mills, plants and foundries. Cameron will now seek to destroy this monster but he will find, just as in Mary Shelly’s novel, this is easier said than done.
