Oh yes, Mr. President, the hajj is “one of the world’s largest and most diverse gatherings,” except for the banned and persecuted Christians, Jews, Sikhs, Hindus and all non-Muslims forbidden from entering Mecca.
But then, from the point of view of a liberal,Â diverseÂ just means non-White, non-Christian, and/or non-Western, and therefore sacrosanct.

The Eid and Hajj rituals are a reminder of the shared roots of the world’s Abrahamic faiths and the powerful role that faith plays in motivating communities to serve and stand with those in need. On behalf of the American people, we extend our best wishes during this Hajj season.

For Muslims believe that it was (despite the explicit mention of Isaac in the Torah) that it was Ishmael who was offered. Obama administration will beÂ satisfied if the Muslim Brotherhood takes over the Middle East. So why should Syria be different than anyplace else?
“Satisfied” with the rule of a group dedicated in its own words to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.” That’s a peculiar kind of satisfaction.

But will they even care to shed their associations with Islamic supremacism and Sharia? Of course not.
