Omid Shafi and the “divine manners of Satan”
“I am a good Muslim boy — my mama will vouch for that — and I have never touched a Playboy magazine, except one, and I only read the article. That one was the interview with Martin Luther King, and it has been a guiding force in my life.” (No shiite!)
Sounds like Omid has a jinn on his shoulders the size of King Kong!
Safi published a hot, steaming pile of Islamic dawah in the Huffington Post yesterday. Robert Spencer  shakes him out of his tree, here:  UNC prof Omid Safi, who claimed I threatened to kill him
I took a look and found the PUFFHO  top heavy on da’wa, which should make even the most clueless  Obama voter suspicious. But I won’t hold my breath:
Shapeshifter Islam, brought to you by the fiercely proselytizing Ahmadiyya sect:
Members of the YWCA and Catholic Charities gathered at the Islamic Center of St. Joseph Thursday for a monthly roundtable discussion in an effort to eliminate racial injustice.
Thanks to Mullah
‘Shed more light on Islam’
Roundtable discussion turns focus to misunderstood religion:
Christians and Muslims have many similarities. “All five pillars of faith are like the five pillars of Christianity — Belief in one god, prayer, fasting, charity and pilgrimage.”
We could argue about that.
1. Much of the talk centered on “Islamiphobia.” (sic)
2. “There are a lot of myths and questions people have….”
 Mamma mia Ahmadiyya!
‘Just like Jesus’- Â Ahmadiyya misconceptions of Islam
The group  wants to dispel the belief that religion is the cause of wars and that Islam’s Prophet Muhammad is a warrior. Instead, Raza pointed out, Islam means peace and believers simply convey their message to others and then let them decide.
“We believe in Jesus Christ as a true prophet of God,” said Raza. “You can see that we revere his mother so much that Muslim women are encouraged to walk in her foot steps, she’s the chosen one. And, she bore Jesus …(through) immaculate conception. We believe he is the prophet of God, not the son of God.”
