Here’s a simple solution:
Arrest Zafar Bangash and his cohorts, revoke his Canadian passport and dump him in the Islamic desert of his choice within 48 hours.
If Iran attacked, Jews may be singled out for revenge, York Region Islamic leader warns
TORONTO-HAMILTON – If Iran is attacked it will take the rest of the world down with it, and Jews may be singled out for revenge, a Canadian Muslim leader has warned.
Although Islam forbids the use of weapons of mass destruction, that is exactly what Iran will do if its nuclear facilities are attacked, according to Zafar Bangash, director, Islamic Society of York Region.
Islam does not forbid the use of weapons of mass destruction:Â Zafar Bangash is lying:
Qur’an:8:59 “The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy.”
Qur’an:8:60 “And make ready against the infidels all of the power you can, including steeds of war [the Noble Qur’an says these are: tanks, planes, missiles, and artillery] to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy. And whatever you spend in Allah’s Cause shall be repaid unto you.” [Another translation reads:] “Prepare against them whatever arms and cavalry you can muster that you may strike terror in the enemies of Allah, and others besides them not known to you. Whatever you spend in Allah’s Cause will be repaid in full, and no wrong will be done to you.”

The author of two books about Iran spoke on the topic, Iran in the Crosshairs, at Hamilton’s McMaster University last Thursday evening.
“Weapons of mass destruction are forbidden in Islam. Even if we are subjected to them, we are not allowed to use the same weapons against our enemy,” Bangash said in an audio recording of the event, which was provided to the Jewish Tribune.
Seemingly unaware that he was about to contradict himself, Bangash described Iran’s military capability and its likely response to an attack.
“Iran has literally thousands of missiles…. Iran has built its own submarines…. I’ve seen them myself. Iran has built surface-to-surface missiles, Iran has built surface-to-air missiles, Iran has built air-to-air missiles….
“If Iran were attacked… rest assured, American forces in Afghanistan… Bahrain… [and] Kabul, [and] America’s naval fleet in the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean, will come under attack. Iran is definitely going to target oil installations in Saudi Arabia, in Kuwait. And Iran will make sure that if it is going to go down, the rest of the world will go down with it…. Iran has said that if any missile were to be fired at our nuclear facilities, we have targetted 1,000 missiles in Israel’s Dimona nuclear reactor….
“Finally, if there were an attack on Iran, and obviously the fact that Israel would be involved in it, [the] US would be involved in it, it is quite possible that, you know, members of the Jewish community might be targetted…. We will not want that to happen at all but, you know, you cannot control the emotions of the people.”
Bangash referred to statements he made last August at an anti-Israel event held on the lawn at Queen’s Park.
“Zionism is a political ideology…and we will resist that political ideology because it’s a racist ideology.”
Bangash is shown on video describing Israel as “the Zionist parasitical state” and calling its government and people racist, inhuman barbarians.
During the question-and-answer period, an audience member reiterated those statements and asked what he thought should be done about Zionists.
Bangash responded: “As far as Zionists are concerned, they are perfectly at liberty to hold their views, just as we have Nazis that hold their views…. There are other racists that hold their views…. You are entitled to your views but in terms of the right to that homeland, and exclusively for the Jewish people, I do not accept.”
Hamilton businesswoman Rose Lax is a Fellow at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem and a member of the Hamilton Never Again Group. She told the Tribune that the event, which she attended, was not informative, revealing or honest.
“It was purely an exercise in propaganda, fear mongering and sloppy, sloppy scholarship.”
For example, Lax said, Bangash “bragged” about the supposedly excellent treatment enjoyed by the approximately 30,000 Jews living in Iran; according to him, life in Iran is so good for Jews that the Israeli government has failed in its attempts to bribe them to relocate to Israel. He also said Iranian Jews are free to travel to and from Israel, which Lax disputes.
The event was presented by the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, McMaster Muslims for Peace and Justice, Independent Jewish Voices (Hamilton) and the Mohawk [College] Social Justice Society.
Two days before the event, Avi Benlolo, president and CEO, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, wrote a letter to McMaster University President Patrick Deane and asked him to make a public statement either for or against “the goals of this speaker and his sponsor.”
As of last Thursday afternoon, Benlolo told the Tribune, he had not received a response. The fact that the event was not cancelled, he said, “may in fact tell us what the university’s position is.”
