Tomorrow's headlines Today: Muslims fear 'backlash' over failed suicide attack!

Yet another inconvenient development for the “Islamophobia” industry, which claims that concern about the jihad in the U.S. is unfounded or based on “hate.”

“Exclusive: Feds arrest man allegedly heading to U.S. Capitol for suicide mission after sting investigation,” by Mike Levine for, February 17

The man, in his 30s and of Moroccan descent, was nabbed following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, initiated after he expressed interest in conducting an attack. It’s unclear how the FBI learned of his aspirations.

The man thought undercover FBI agents assisting him in his plot were associates of Al Qaeda.

Amine El Khalifi of Alexandria, Va., was taken into custody with an inoperable gun and inert explosives given to him by undercover FBI agents as part of a long-running sting operation, the Associated Press reported:

“Suicide mission?”  Totally un-Islamic. No real Muslim would ever do a thing like that.

Prepare yourself for a litany of of accusations about ‘entrapment’, ‘witch-hunt’ against Muslims, harassment and Islamophobia. America’s fearful Muslims will be whining about ‘backlash’ as usual …. and in his mosque no one will remember him.

“. . .he had been praying at a mosque in the Washington area”

Pray tell . ..which bastion of Islamic peace would this mosque be?

Dar al-Hijrah in Falls Church VA , you know, dearly departed al-Awlaki’s haunt? . . .or perhaps the nearby Islamic Saudi Academy, from which valedictiorianAhmed Abu Ali, serving a life sentence for conspiring with Al Qaeda to assassinate President Bush, the same institution whose director suppressed report of sexual abuse of a five-year-old child?

Update II:

As we saw in Mumbai, jihadists like to target Jews above all, as they are, according to the Qur’an, the worst enemies of the Muslims (5:82).

“Landlord says he reported terror suspect to police,” by Nedra Pickler for the Associated Press, February 17 (thanks to JW):

  1. It’s about time they published “Islam for Dummies” as way too many people are “misunderstanding their religion.

  2. It would have been the ultimate American Dream.
Can you imagine, B-O blown to bitty little pieces by a Muslim?

    Oh,ALLAH,Yo is De Man !

  3. “It’s about time they published “Islam for Dummies”…” – such book exists, but it needs to be translated into the relevant languages and come out as soundbook as well.

What’s the point having all the smarts in English when most of the target group can’t read the Queen’s language, or even in their native language?
