Turkey’s İhsanoğlu: “Extremist rightist groups are intolerant of cultural diversity and cause Islamophobia in Europe”

by sheikyermami on April 12, 2012

Can’t have that. What’s the world coming to?  Never mind that Turkey reject cultural diversity; who needs that when you already got Islam?

“Extremist rightist movements are intolerant of cultural diversity in Europe.”

Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, secretary-general of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), said “nothing could replace dialogue….”  (Hurriyet Daily News)

Lets see how this “dialogue” works:

Turkey: Muslim mobs attacking Christian clerics

More indication of the ongoing re-Islamization of Turkey. “Christian clerics alarmed at growing threats, persecution in Turkey,” from Hürriyet Daily News, April 10 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Christian clerics in Turkey have expressed their anxiety regarding the growing threats they face in wake of an attack against Pastor Semih Serkek of the Protestant “Lütuf” (“Grace”) Church in Istanbul’s Bahçelievler district on April 7.“Attacks against Christian clerics drop off for a while, then they begin to re-energize. [Such attacks] have begun to accelerate again in recent days. We hesitate when opening our doors and welcoming the faithful inside,” Pastor Krikor Ağabaloğlu of the Gedikpaşa Armenian Protestant Church in Istanbul told the Hürriyet Daily News.

Muslims Threaten Church, Cover Its Cross with Garbage Bags

Shameless:

Attack on Easter

Three unidentified individuals attacked and beat Serkek on the night of April 7, immediately after an Easter service. “They were three people around the age of 18. They wore [prayer caps] on their heads. They forced the door open and said they were going to kill me unless I recited the ‘Kelime-i Şahadet’ [Islamic confession of faith]. I received a severe blow to my chest,” Serkek told the Daily News. The attacks were not coincidental, according to Serkek, who had also served as a mentor to the three victims slain in the Malatya Zirve Publishing House incident in eastern Turkey.

Pastor Orhan Picaklar of the Agape Protestant Church in the Black Sea province of Samsun also said he has been living with a personal escort 24 hours a day for the past four years, since a plot to assassinate him first came to light. “Police [officers] keep watch at the door during mass; the believers are afraid to enter the church due to the threat to their lives,” he said. The make-shift church, located inside an apartment building, also came under attack about a month ago, Picaklar said, adding that the congregation was chagrined at being stuck in an apartment. “[The authorities] gave the green light to the construction of a new church in 2004, within the framework of the European Union harmonization laws, although with the pre-condition that it must be no smaller than 2,500 square meters. We have no budget. We appealed to establish a church building 1,000 square meters in size, but did not receive approval for it.”

Ağabaloğlu said that in the case of his church, the state intentionally refused to grant permission for the construction of a church building. “They are trying to stymie the spread of Christianity in this way.”

Islamic law forbids Christians to build new churches.

Death to Churches (Gatestone)

“While the mainstream media, government officials and so on try to portray these attacks as products of poverty, the fact is that churches are under siege wherever there are significant numbers of Muslims.”

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Yes,Yes, of course free people in the West are intolerant of the intolerant islamic culture, because it is so intolerant that it creates islamophobia everywhere, where people are free to think themselves.

‘Islamic cities peaceful home for places of worship of all faiths’

12 April 2012 / ABDÜLHAMİT BİLİCİ , İSTANBUL

The places of worship of all three Abrahamic religions sit peacefully side-by-side in cities where Islam is the dominant religion, including Damascus, Baghdad, Cairo and İstanbul, and the followers of these faiths live together in peace, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu has said.

Sounds just like the communist double speak to me. No wonder Marxism and Islam are so interchangeable.

What a joke, So, Turkey wants to pretend the 1950′s programs against the Christian Greeks never happened in Istanbul? Or Cypress-which like everything else Muslims touch has become a shit hole.

Not to mention their historical intolerance the Turks have towards the Kurds.
