Westernized Muslima Eltahawy says “they hate us and we need to admit that!” – after she got a good trashing and a fair bit of abuse during ‘the Arab spring’. Now she is guilty of  ’orientalizing’ Arab society with a Western discourse based on civil-rights, equality and individual freedoms.

Mona Eltahawy  is no Ayaan Ali Hirsi, but  whoever questions Islam arouses suspicion.

‘I read just Eltahawy’s opening lines,  broad brushstrokes and sweeping generalizations’-  finds ‘almost every paragraph of Eltahawy’s essay ‘similarly troubling,’   accuses Eltahawy of blaming Islam (a thoughtcrime,  even in the west!) and typically  tells Mona to go and bark up another tree.

Ground Zero mosque slumlord  &  Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf,  (who also dabbles as a Jew)   feels compelled to  ’clear up misunderstandings’ and literally lies himself into a hole:  “ the Prophet Mohammed was a revolutionary feminist”, (good one, that, Aisha can confirm it!)

But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. I keep hearing that same argument: “ the Prophet Mohammed was a revolutionary feminist”.

Well, good for him! Charles Dickens was a famous socialist, he paid his cook more then 50 pounds per year!
Does this mean that we should all be happy to work 100 hour weeks for 1 pound a week and one afternoon off?

Feminism has evolved into emancipation rights for everyone … Mo may have been revolutionary 1400 years ago, but then so was soap. Nowadays, his ideas are archaic.
