West doubles down: “78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party are members of the Communist Party….”

You can rest assured that Alan West is accurate. True to form,  leftists are attempting to make West look like Joseph McCarthy.

In the wake of Allen West’s recent bombshell in which he claimed there are currently “78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the Communist Party,” the mainstream media has gone on what conservatives could argue is a veritable witch-hunt. To hear his take on these events, Glenn Beck interviewed the Florida freshman during his Friday morning radio broadcast, noting that leftists are attempting to make West look like Joseph McCarthy.

West, ever poised, told Beck that Americans must stick to its founding principles and asked Democrats whether they believe in freedom and liberty, or “collective subjugation.”

“They can try to use the Saul Alinksy tactic of ridicule,” West said of his detractors, but they are “not answering the question Americans want to hear.“ He added that progressive lawmakers are ”running away” from the real issue.

West maintained that it comes down to an “ideological separation” and a choice between two very different futures. He refused to apologize or backtrack for his Communist remarks, saying this is an “important debate.”

When Beck and his co-hosts mentioned their disappointment in the fact that West will likely not be tapped to run for Vice President as a result of his comments, West didn’t blink an eye.

“I’m not worried about being tapped” for VP he said. “I am worried about my country.”

He went on to say that if one is not willing to stand his or her ground and make this case “then you don’t have a political future.” Instead, the administration will create a “shadow government run by czars.”

Watch West in another powerful interview as he discusses liberty versus progressivism with Beck and his crew.

Here’s the original interview with the snotty Soledad O’Brien:

“We don’t need a bureaucratic nanny state. We need to stay a Constitutional Republic. I think a lot of people need to study that and understand what it is.”

Can anybody argue with that?

O’Brien actually did by quoting Libero Della Piana, the Vice Chairman of the National Communist Party who said of West’s contentions, “I just think it’s an absurd way to cast a shadow over his colleagues. It’s kind of a sad ploy…It’s just guilt by association taken to an extreme.”

“He says you’re wrong,” concluded O’Brien.

West simply and emphatically responded, “I don’t care what he says.”

  1. What a fantastic interview and response by Representative West. He did not point out that Rep. Ellison is a muslim following a totalitarian ideology of intolerance, that communist/progressives belong to a totalitarian ideology of intolerance, along with PC. All three have a common aim, the destruction of the most successful civilization in history, our Judeo/Christian civilization. Rep. West is determined to stop this attempt to destroy us, so we should support him and other conservatives by voting out Obama and taking control of Congress along with the Senate with our votes. This will protect our Freedom of Speech, Freedom from Want and Fear for a few more years.

  2. To be compared to Joseph McCarthy is an honor, he should be the fifth head at Mt. Rushmore. A great American who realized America was infiltrated with Communists — he was right, America was, and is, and he was ridiculed for his efforts to smoke them out, and not helped. If we could have gotten rid of most of these Communist criminals under McCarthy, we would have fewer problems now — perhaps Obama’s maternal grandparents would have been caught and wouldn’t have been able to ingrain this evil ideology into their daughter.
