It has been over two months since Shaima Alawadi was bludgeoned to death in her own home in El Cajon, CA. The initial reports were that it was an anti-Muslim hate crime, and then it was leaked that Shaima was seeking a divorce and that her daughter was caught hot and heavy in the car with a man and later jumped out of a moving car during a dispute with her mother. On Monday night a swastika and Nazi symbols were sprayed the mosque of the El Mouhsinine Muslim association in Tarascon-sur-AriÃ¨ge. Police have launched an investigation. Local councillors visited the site to express their support for the association, and the mayor has called for a firm stand to be taken against racism and xenophobia.

CAIR-MN Asks FBI to Probe Hate Vandalism at Muslim Home
ST. PAUL, Minn., May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) today called on the FBI to investigate hate vandalism targeting the home of a Somali-American Muslim family in that state.
CAIR-MN reports that sometime during the past weekend, vandals spray-painted a Nazi swastika, the letters “KKK” and the word “stink” on the driveway of the family’s Rochester, Minn., home.Â Market Watch
