German Cartoon Riots: Clubs, Bottles and Stones
“This was an explosion of violence such as we have not witnessed in a long time.”– Bonn’s police chief, Ursula Brohl-Sowa
In an explosion of violence that reflects the growing assertiveness of Salafists in Germany, on May 5th more than 500 radical Muslims attacked German police with bottles, clubs, stones and other weapons in the city of Bonn, to protest cartoons they said were “offensive.”
Rather than cracking down on the Muslim extremists, however, German authorities have sought to silence the peaceful critics of multicultural policies that allow the Salafists — who say they are committed to imposing Islamic Sharia law throughout Europe — openly to preach violence and hate.
Sounds like a threat:
Germany is beginning to regret its decision to allow a far-right political party to display anti-Muslim cartoons near mosques as part of an electioneering campaign.
OnIslam makes it look as if some “right wing extremists” attacked the police with crowbars and knifes. But the police was attacked by Koranimals. “Salafists” in PC-speak.
“Critics say  (which critics?)  the violence would never had happened if Germany had treated the cartoons they brandish the way it treats Nazi symbols – with a blanket ban.”
No can do, Muslims. Free speech is non-negotiable. The keffieh is a Nazi symbol. Your beards, your kaftans and your coffee-filters are Nazi symbols. Take a magic carpet ride back to camel country. This is no place for ya….
