AUSTRALIA’S spy chief has warned of impending “home-grown, lone wolf” terrorist attacks as a steady number of Australians head to Africa and the Middle-East for extremist training. (Newscom.au)
Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Director-General David Irvine today said they are currently managing 200 active counter-terrorism investigations, but what keeps him “awake at night” is theterrorist from within.
“In June this year the head of the British security service, MI5, John Evans, revealed in a speech that in backrooms and cars and on the streets of his country there is no shortage of individuals talking about wanting to mount terrorist attacks,” Mr Irvine today told the Security In Government Conference in Canberra.

He said that ASIO has been working closely with other law enforcement agencies to prevent many attacks on home soil during the past decade but will remain vigilant in the lead up to the Bali Bombing and New York Trade Centre bombing anniversaries later this month and in October respectively.

Very real threat, all you have to do is look at facebook pages of muslims here in Australia and see the way they speak about us and disrespect us and how they clearly brag about knowing people that are fighting in Syria etc, very scary, we need to stop these apes.
There people are NOT Australians but they are here. As Jay said, you need to monitor these islamic thugs – you will be surprised at how much hate they have for non-muslims and for the country that has given them at home. Our government will do NOTHING to help. After the bombing in England – how many years ago? – did the British Government do anything? No, they just kept letting more and more in as if nothing had happened.
