Australia needs a “responsible speech police”

Here it comes!

“Responsible People” prescribe responsible haram & halal speech.

Clerics call for a healthy debate and exchange of convictions and values thanks to Mullah

Anglican Archbishop Jeffrey Driver doesn’t support calls for a blasphemy law, but those who speak out must take responsibility to use freedom of speech in ways that do not incite violence, prejudice or hate against any community, including religious ones.

The highest value is our freedom of speech.  Australians need their freedom of speech rights restored and not further eroded. If freedom of speech goes,  we lose all our rights and will be defenceless against the jihad.

AUSTRALIAN religious leaders have come together to call for unity and intelligent debate on a proposed law that would criminalise blasphemy.

The law – proposed by Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono when addressing the UN General Assembly last week – demands that Western countries criminalise blasphemy.

Do we want to live under sharia?

The demand came in response to the anti-Islam Innocence of Muslims online video that sparked violent protests around the world.

The details of how a blasphemy law would be introduced or enforced are still unclear.

‘Intelligent debaters’ and ‘responsible speech’ enforcers….

Update:

This is Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu’s wet dream:

“If the Western world fails to understand the sensitivity of the Muslim world, then we are in trouble,” Ihsanoglu said. Such provocations pose “a threat to international peace and security and the sanctity of life.”

“We are not saying stop free speech. We are staying stop hate speech,” Ihsanoglu said.

For Mustards, all criticism of Islam is ‘hate speech’.

Muslim leaders say call for global ban on anti-Islam ‘hate speech’ is not attack on free speech

Lets pretend it isn’t:

Islamic Association of Australia president Muhammad Wahid said he supported the idea while condemning acts of what he called “Islamophobia”.

“If we have a law in some countries forbidding Holocaust denial, why shouldn’t we have a law preventing mocking a religion and disturbing the peace of the whole world?” he said.

Muslims are not Jews.  Muslims are the worst Holocaust deniers. Lets  teach our children well about Mohammedan genocide, from the Armenians on back through the centuries, including all the other cultures and civilisations the soldiers of allah wiped out.

He said Muslim beliefs were widely understood in the Western world and it was not acceptable for people to denigrate religious figures.

He said religions were not exempt from analysis or criticism, but people needed to find ways to do so intelligently and positively.

“You can make fun of the way they act within their own faith – I think people would accept that one.

“But someone ridiculing Mohammed or Jesus or Buddha is not acceptable because these people are very respected by many.”

Anglican Archbishop Jeffrey Driver last week led a call for peace in the wake of the violent scenes seen in Sydney and around the world, and expressed sadness and concerns about their impact on the Islamic community.

He said he disagreed with a blasphemy law but said there should always be healthy debate and exchange about convictions and values in society; including questions of religion.

“I do not support the introduction of a blasphemy law, but make the point that those who are privileged to have access to public media have a responsibility to use their freedom of speech in ways that do not incite violence, prejudice or hate against any community, including religious communities,” he said.

The violence does not come from freedom of speech. The violence comes from Muselmaniacs and their leftist storm troopers who want to shut us up and do away with it.

“Debate makes a community healthy and the great religions should be able to respond to such healthy debate with openness and at times self-criticism.”

Archbishop Driver said freedom of speech was not merely a civil right, but also a responsibility.

The Archbishop can shove his ‘responsibility’ where the sun don’t shine. I shall speak freely!

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

But Muslims will riot over anything. Let us suppose Muslims dont like the fact that we eat pork and advertise bacon, and therefore riot. What then? Our whole system of laws and traditions, will be subject to Islamic censorship

Or is the Revd suggesting that we take out insurance if we intend to practice free speech?

What the campaigns to criminalize “Islamophobia” and “hate speech” are really all about:

Shame on Archbishop Driver. He has been to South Sudan and seen for himself the mess the “great” religion of Islam made of the place.

He’s lukewarm. Leave it at that.
