Brother of Al-Qaeda leader Al-Zawahiri justifies 9/11 attacks, says group would strike at Israel if it could

Note that by “hostile to the muslims” he means everyone rejecting their demands to submit to Islamic supremacy and sharia.  (thanks to eye on the world)

(Times of Israel) Ahead of Tuesday’s eleventh anniversary of the September 11 terror assault on the United States, Egyptian Salafist and al-Qaeda operative Muhammad Al-Zawahiri, the younger brother of Osama bin-Laden’s successor as al-Qaeda Leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri, justified the attacks in an interview on Al-Jazeera. […]

The interviewer went on to ask Zawahiri why al-Qaeda chose to target the US and not Arab regimes it considers infidel or Israel.

“We consider anyone hostile towards the Muslims to be an enemy, but all in good time. At present, America is attacking our countries,” said Zawahiri. He then said that al-Qaeda had launched attacks against Israel, mentioning the 2002 attempted shooting down of an El Al plane in Kenya and an attack the same year on a synagogue in Djerba, Tunisia.

“If al-Qaeda could reach… If the regimes of the Arab countries bordering Israel did not prevent it… Al-Qaeda wants to carry out attacks against Israel,” concluded Zawahiri.

  1. With the soom coming of the eleventh annvirsary of the jihadist affront on America and humankind it would be wise to have both Fortitude and Vigilance. For the jihadist enemy is still scheming for a future attack. This may be put in another way, by the words of the third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, they are worth remembering. They are “Fortitude…teaches us to meet and surmont difficulties; not to fly from them.” and “Let the eye of vigilance never be closed.”

  2. Yeah and why is America attacking his countries??? Slimeball. Maybe if he stops accusing others of creating HIV/AIDS. Maybe he will conscript his girl soldiers like Israel so they aren’t all ugly black blobs getting kicked around in the streets by Egyptian soldiers whining about “virginity tests”. Nah didn’t think so.

  3. His beard? It’s what is in his brain that matters. But yeah he’s never going to get a job at the Hilton looking like that.

  4. So, wait? His saying that 9/11 was NOT an inside job, then? Al Qeada was driving the planes.

I wish they would make up their mind and stop with the flip flopping.
