Update:
Right. Because peace can only be achieved by protecting terrorists. (eyeonthe world has More…)
Global Jihad Against the Jews
International law leaves no room to question Israel’s right to defend its citizens against systematic and sustained terrorist attacks launched from Gaza, by Hamas. Israel’s reaction to aggression is nothing more than a measured, fair response designed “to effectively terminate the attack [s]” upon it by terrorists supported by Iran, Syria, and Lebanon, in order to “prevent its recurrence.” Israel is far from using all means in fighting terrorism, as required by UNSC.
“Israel has right to defend itself but….”
The New York Times is reporting that President Obama is ‘urging’ Prime Minister Netanyahu not to invade Gaza.
Though Obama uttered immediate and firm public and private assurances that Israel has a right to defend itself from rocket attacks emanating from Gaza, administration officials have been privately urging Israeli officials not to extend the conflict, a move that many American officials believe could benefit Hamas. (Carl in J’lem)
Alright, so Israel has a right to defend itself. But what about the duty to protect?
The New York Times Evades the Facts to Blame Israel
“With all its evasions about the situation and its unrealistic demands for restraint on Israel’s part, the editorial belied its statement that Israel has the right to defend itself. Indeed, it makes clear just one thing– that no matter what the reality is, in the eyes of The New York Times editorial board, Israel will always be at fault.”
Israel and Syria exchange fire in Golan
Israel artillery has fired back at Syria after gunfire hit an Israeli military vehicle in the Golan Heights. The incident comes amid high tensions in the region as Israel is waging an offensive against Gaza while civil war continues in Syria. (Vlad)
Report: Hezbollah and Iran opened “missile bridge” to supply Hamas
Lebanon’s Al Akhbar, a site associated with Hezbollah, reports that Hezbollah is in contact with Hamas to replenish its arsenal of long-range rockets that has been reportedly decimated by Israeli airstrikes.
The US must communicate to Egypt immediately that if there is the slightest evidence that they are allowing weapons to be smuggled to Gaza that they will lose their $1.5 billion in aid. This is absolutely critical, and I hope that the White House makes this crystal clear.
ISRAELI TROOPS MASS ON GAZA BORDER
Egyptian terrorists joining in?
There are initial reports that mortars that hit near the Kerem Shalom crossing came from Egypt. In the hours before Operation Pillar of Defense, there were four rockets fired from the Sinai towards Israel.
Malaysia officially sides with Hamas (again)
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has urged the United Nations, particularly the Security Council, to take immediate resolute action over what it called irresponsible military action by Israel against innocent civilians in Gaza.
If you’re a moderate Muslim government like Malaysia, when is any Israeli military action not ‘irresponsible’?
Incredible: BBC tells Twitter to stop letting the IDF tweet
Those paragons of moral virtue in London, the BBC, are simply beyond belief. They’re demanding that Hamas be kicked off Twitter. Okay. But to show how they’re ‘unbiased’ they’re demanding that the IDF be kicked off too (Hat Tip: Carl).
So, how did the BBC turn this unprovoked attack on Israel by terrorists and a corresponding announcement of defensive action into an exercise in blame-the-victims?
Here is the BBC’s Tweet.
.@Twitter bans “threats of violence”, but will it stop tweets by Hamas’s @AlqassamBrigade & Israel’s @IDFSpokesperson? http://bbc.in/Sso5cD
Note that BBC wants Twitter to stop the Tweets of bothHamas and the IDF as if they both share exactly the same guilt.
When they find a director general who’s not involved in covering up child molestation, please call me. The Beeb has very warped moral values. But then, you knew that.

Which idiot invented the phrase: “disproportionate response”?
R2P was tested in Libya. No invasion was needed then. Gaddafi was not really a threat the way Saddam Hussein was.
Back then, to me , it was obvious that it would be used on Israel.
Thank ‘our’ Gareth Evans, Samantha Powers (Mrs Cass Sunstein) and George Soros for that treaty. Oh ,,and add Hussein Obama to the R2P list as well as well.
Trying again,,post disappeared???

The BBC has taken the evil victim-blaming immoral stance of nannystater kindergarten teachers everywhere to heart, that: “Attacking is always bad – even in self defense! We immoral relativists pretend to believe that: There can be no good without evil, no pleasure without pain, and no attacks without defenders!”
Their cowardly position is one of knee-jerk surrender to the moslems’ threats of violence: “We have to let the violent criminals do what they want to us, or else they’ll do what they want to us anyway!”
So, I have a few quick questions to the BBC (and enemedia in general) and for those pretending to be “our leaders” in government:
Q: Is it an absolute fact that there are absolutely no absolute facts? All facts are opinions?
Q: If you attack an innocent person, who has never harmed you or others, are you a criminal – or not?
YES – or NO?!
(AND – If you can find that someone else did so too, does that cancel your own criminality?)!
;-)
More specifically: Do you consider the following things (lying/fraud, extortion, torture, robbery, arson, kidnapping & ransoming, slavery, rape – including pedophilia – and murder) to be:
a) Holy religious rights and duties;
b) Crimes;
or
c) Not sure/unsilling to answer the question (?)
If you answered: (a) to the last question, you are a moslem; if: (b) you are sane – and probably a Conservative; and if: (c) you are a liberal apologist enabler for the crimes of others (and so, a criminal negligent yourself)!
;-)
My biggest dream is for a Muslim to send Spookobama to Boogie Hell.
