Fibbi Hooper: Jesus and Muhammad are Brothers

by sheikyermami on December 10, 2012

Unfortunately, some of his coreligionists don’t quite see it that way:

Hamas front CAIR represents the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. BNI has a whole slide show of Muselmanic misunderstanders who get their Jesus all wrong:  Terror-linked CAIR says “Jesus and Muhammad are Brothers”

‘Reverted’  CAIR top dog Ibrahim (‘Fibbi’)  Hooper has a Christmas message for you:

Prophet Muhammad said: “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”

During the Christmas season, Christian families seek to maintain a focus on Jesus and his legacy.

Many of our Christian brothers and sisters may be surprised to know that Muslims love and revere Jesus as one of God’s greatest messengers to mankind, just as we love and revere the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon them both.

The Prophet Muhammad sought to erase any distinctions between the message he taught and that taught by Jesus, whom he called God’s “spirit and word.”

Prophet Muhammad said: “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”

“Behold! The angels said: ‘O Mary! God gives thee glad tidings of a Word from Him. His name will be Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and in (the company of) those nearest to God.’”

The quote above is not from the New Testament. It is taken from the Quran, Islam’s revealed text. (3:45)

Other verses in the Quran, regarded by Muslims as the direct word of God, state that Jesus was strengthened with the “Holy Spirit” (2:87) and is a “sign for the whole world.” (21:91) His virgin birth was confirmed when Mary is quoted as asking: “How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me?” (3:47)

An entire chapter of the Quran (Chapter 19) is named after Jesus’ mother Mary, “Maryam” in the Arabic of the Quran.

The Quran shows Jesus speaking from the cradle and, with God’s permission, curing lepers and the blind. (5:110) God also states in the Quran: “We gave (Jesus) the Gospel and put compassion and mercy into the hearts of his followers.” (57:27)

Muslims believe Jesus will return to earth in the last days before the final judgment. Disrespect toward Jesus is very offensive to Muslims.

The message of love, peace and forgiveness taught by Jesus, and accepted by both Christians and Muslims, can serve as a unifying force in a troubled world.

It is the same message of unity expressed by another verse in the Quran:

“Say ye: ‘We believe in God and the revelation given to us and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves.’” (2:136)

Obviously, Muslims and Christians have differing interpretations of the details of the life and message of Jesus. But by focusing on what we have in common, Christians and Muslims of goodwill can help build bridges of interfaith understanding and serve as a counterweight to the voices of division and extremism.

As the Quran tells us: “O humankind! We have created you male and female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily, the most honored of you in the sight of God is the most righteous of you.” (49:13)

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

They are stealing Jesus from us…even as they kill Christians in their countries. My God, the gall…

@PJG,

At the plethora of Muslims coming on here saying hateful (see above photo) things about Jesus, you would never guess that they claim Jesus as a holy prophet.

PJG December 10, 2012 at 10:21 pm

Hill: if they think Jesus is going to come back as a Muslim and destroy Christianity, then they belive that Jesus, like they themselves, is a slave of Allah. They think being a slave of Allah is a truly wonderful thing, and that anybody not wanting to be a slave of Allah deserves to be the “slave of a slave of Allah”, ie pay the jizya and live in humble submission and all the rest of it.

They are so totally screwed up in their thinking. They hate Christiuanity for its “weak” version of Jesus and denial of Mohammed; they can only revere a Jesus who has had the Mohammed treatment.

Mind you, I have talked to a few Sudanese Muslims who have said they were “Christians first” in a tone which seemed a little bit proud. I suggested they return to Christianity, but they were dumbfounded at the suggestion, having been brainwashed that Islam is the “final” religion (and the consequences could be scary and possibly lethal.)

Basically, islam denies there is a god at all, because Islamic “beliefs” include the belief that their god cannot be understood nor reasoned with, (so it might as well not exist at all) only feared and obeyed.

They also include the criminal notion that, since Muhammad got away with committing his crimes, (and he tried them all, enthusiastically, many times and, far from ever feeling remorse or apologizing for them, instead encouraged everyone else to join him in committing them, too) then “god” must have wanted him to get away with committing those crimes! So obviously islam is only an ancient yet ongoing extortion-racket CRIME syndicate, and the only “religious” part in it, is where they say:

“God told us to commit these crimes!”

;-(

Christianity holds the exact opposite: that, even if God is too complex for us to understand, that still doesn’t stop God from being able to understand us, and to relate to us, and communicate with us, on our own terms, in the person of Jesus Christ. And Jesus advised us to help each other, not to prey on one another.

For all Christians here is the fact that the Qu’ran calls the Son of God an abomination (9:30; 19:88 – 19:89; 37:151 – 37:152) and all of His eye-witnesses liars – by one lone accuser (Muhammad) who was not even there with them at the time – offering no proof but his own say-so.

Moslems and other backwards, adversarial satanic fear-salesmen say: “pain or be pained!” because they fear that fear causes pain. Christians know this world is one of pain and be pained, so fear (the memory of pain, projected to the future) is only the first step in the thought process: to correct our mistakes and avoid future sins, to get to the hope of no pain, one must first face one’s fears of pain, not ignore them or project them onto innocent others. Greed (limited, selfish hope) is not the opposite of the fear of pain – fear and greed are the exact same thing! Moslems fear fear and so have no hope; they only worship their own fears of pain, and avoid thinking about them (more fear) by projecting the relief of them onto others.

Muhammad commands everyone to “Submit to the inevitability of Might-Makes-Right!” while Christ advises and demonstrates to all that, not matter how bad it gets, they should not Submit to becoming a part of the problem by downloading their unjustly-victimized pains onto others, too.

“Chrislam?!”

HEY EVERYBODY! Let’s compare Jesus and Moe, the Founders of their respective creeds!!
(Here’s my Top Ten, just off the top of my head!):

1. How many babies did Jesus rape?
2. How many slaves did Jesus take (and rape)?
3. How many innocent merchants did Jesus torture, to get their treasure to pay his bandit armies?
4. How many bandit armies did Jesus lead, and how many countries did they invade & enslave?
5. How many poisoned swords named “Death!” did Jesus own and use to behead enemies?
6. How many times did Jesus lie, say “God is the greatest deceiver!” and rob and extort people?
7. How many people did Jesus burn out of their homes, while they were still asleep in them?
8. How many people (who had only verbally contested his claims) did Jesus put out “hits” on?
9. How many pregnant women did Jesus have run through with swords for doubting him?

…and of course:

10. How many people did Moe heal (or resurrect)?

;-)

Another braindead Mobot who believes he is intelligent using ‘David’ as a moniker to post here. How bloody original is that!

Hill December 11, 2012 at 3:04 pm

@PJG

Everything you said was spot on.

But, there is nothing more dangerous for the rest of us free and independent spirited people, then weak minded people who have an unhealthy need to be dominated and controlled by someone else. And would happily and willingly give themselves over to slavery.

@David.

” jesus was not nailed on d cross if he want 2 die 4 d world he will not cry on d cross again only ALLAH is d GOD.”

You know this how?

You said, he “was not nailed on d cross” and then you go on to say, “he will not cry on d cross again.”

Freudian slip? You clearly believe consciously or subconsciously, that there was Jesus who was nailed on the cross.
