In America, they are being told that now that Australia no longer has those wicked guns, life is better in every way!
Haven’t you heard? There is no longer any crime in Australia, now that guns are out of the hands of the honest, decent noncriminal segments of Australian society. Crime rates are lower then ever before in Oz.
And the Americans are even luckier because they have the gospel of Piers Morgan to show them the way to the British path of gun free enlightenment.
Criminals don’t obey gun laws, law abiding citizens do and are made defenceless as a result:

Restricting or confiscating handguns seems to have had almost no effect on homicides in Australia and the stats also show that the law had no real effect on suicides.

You will never ever get those factual statistics regarding Australia or the UK out of an American leftist, or else their house of cards will come crumbling down.
They are banking on most Americans being unfamiliar with the UK and Australia, and thus will not be able to challenge them-successfully.
Even that slimy git Piers Morgan is on board with the false narrative and happy to perpetuate the myth that the UK is better gun free. Just ask the family of 5-year-old Thusha Kamaleswaran, how wonderful gun free Britain is?
