You see, the head rag is not a fashion item: in Egypt Christian Women are being warned: If You Don’t Wear a Veil You’ll Be Raped and people with that kind of mental baggage are now promoting hijaaaaaab in the U.S. of A. That sux.

Won’t be long before American’s are told that goatf*kcing is the latest fashion. After that it will be genital mutilation, child marriage and the stoning of adulterous women.

A Muslim Yuman Rites shyster from Wilmette, has launched a contest titled “American Hijab Design Contest” to encourage designers to create an American-style hijaaaaab. “We’re looking for our nation’s most creative designers to create a truly American hijab style that speaks to today’s American fashion,” the contest’s website says. Seeking to make the Muslim headscarf speak to American fashion, a Muslim woman is championing a contest to encourage designers to create an American style of hijab, to the fury of Islamophobes.

There is no end to learned stupidity:

“What we have here today is most women wearing an Arab-style scarf on top of American-style outfits,” Shaz Kaiseruddin, 31, told Chicago Tribune on Thursday, January 10. “Arabs have their style of hijab, Malaysians have theirs, Indians have theirs, but we haven’t come up with a Western or American-looking style.”

Kaiseruddin, a human rights attorney from Wilmette, has launched a contest titled “American Hijab Design Contest” to encourage designers to create an American-style hijab. “We’re looking for our nation’s most creative designers to create a truly American hijab style that speaks to today’s American fashion,” the contest’s website says.

Entries must come from people inside the United States. So far, 70 participants have applied for the contest atamericanhijabdesign.com.

Kaiseruddin, who has been wearing hijab since she was 11, says she wants the Muslim headscarf be as American as blue jeans. “I’m hoping to cultivate the creation of a cutting-edge, very American hijab style.”

But the hijab contest has invited the ire of Islamophobes in the United States. This is “norming the sharia,” Islamophobic blogger Pamela Geller wrote on her blog. “More cultural jihad, now using fashion as the conduit to norming sharia,” she said. “Trying to make the hideous fashionable, the hijab, niqab, etc as ‘covered chic’.”

Geller has championed a series of ad campaigns linking Islam with terrorism and Jihad with savagery. (which it is)

Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

It is therefore against all rules of equality. Much like forcing Jews to wear a yellow star. Do you here the Jews calling for ‘yellow star design’ contests?
A political statement that should be scorned by all free women.

reddog333 January 12, 2013 at 8:39 pm: They are not supposed to wear underwear underneath the burkas the women who have to wear it so it’s unhygienic. It makes me cringe but at the point I see one of these on the way around to do things I try to keep my cool it’s strange but so far only seen about two locally that I can remember they were both alone. Just to clarify the Muslims do refer to them that way as toilets sometimes. If they want to wear burkas do it in Saudi Arabia.

So far the green/left mainly female government of OZ wants to give these away for free – medicare covered…..for reasons of “harm minimisation” dontcha know (as it’s happening already here).

Seriously, even some medical personal have obliquely started to make caring and sharing noises about it.
