Sarah Hanson-Young: Not Illegal Welfare Parasites, Free Speech is the Problem…

Her appetite to self-destruct is insatiable.

Opposing Labors ongoing failures is  worse than being raped by  third world welfare parasites:

Sarah Hanson-Young is a  menace to human rights by calling in the speech police to punish opinions she doesn’t like:

Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young will file formal complaints with the Australian Communications and Media Authority over recent comments made by ‘’shock jocks’’ about asylum seekers.

As the storm over opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison’s call for asylum seekers living in the community to be monitored by police and conform to ‘’behaviour protocols’’ entered its second day, Senator Hanson-Young also called for parliamentarians to stop vilifying asylum seekers and refugees.

The Greens’ eagerness to censor betrays the party’s totalitarian instinct.– Greens move to censor more free speech  (Andrew Bolt)

She stands infront of the camera saying she’ll bring a Bill forward to stop the vilification of refugees

The Bill simply says – we will reject vilification.

But she supports vilification of people who question her climate junk science.

She supports the vilification of the rich.

She supports the vilification of the miners.

Basically she vilifies anyone who does not agree with her.

Australia: Four Muslims guilty of assault for whipping Muslim convert as Sharia punishment for drinking alcohol

Not  to worry, “our Muslims are different”, right?

Tony Abbott said Wilders’ was “substantially” wrong about Islam and Geert Wilders is the real extremist:

“Muslims in this country see themselves rightly as fair dinkum, dinky-di Australians, just as the Catholics and the Jews and Protestants and the atheists, we see ourselves as Australians,”-— opposition leader Tony Abbott.

Australia: Four Muslims guilty of assault for whipping Muslim convert as Sharia punishment for drinking alcohol

Four men have been found guilty of giving a Sydney electrician 40 lashes with a cable, which they said was a punishment under Islamic law for drinking alcohol and using drugs.

The prosecuting dhimmies know better:

Prosecutors were clear the case was not about sharia, or about the Islamic faith.

Zakaryah Raad leaves Burwood Local Court last October. He has been found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.

I am confident that Imam Rauf is jetting over to Australia as we speak, so as to explain to these four Misunderstanders of Islam that Sharia is completely benign and fully compatible with Western notions of human rights.

“Four men found guilty of sharia law whipping,” from AAP, February 28:

FOUR men who took part in the whipping of a Muslim convert as punishment under sharia law for him drinking alcohol and taking drugs have been found guilty of assault in Sydney.

Europe: A Continent in Flight

Europe: A Continent in Flight

Posted By Bruce Bawer / Daily Mailer,FrontPage

Different parts of Europe, same story.

Let’s start with France, where a new report by a Jewish community group, Service de Protection de la Communauté Juive (SPCJ), says that anti-Semitism in that country has gotten so much worse in the wake of last year’s Toulouse school massacre that the number of Jews who are “crossing the Channel to find safe haven in the U.K.” is skyrocketing. One sign of the trend: “St John’s Wood Synagogue in London has set up a separate French minyan, attended regularly by 120 people on Shabbat,” with new faces showing up every week. A February 21 piece in the Jewish Chronicle about the SPCJ report noted that while anti-Semitic “incidents” in Britain and France are roughly comparable in number, those in France “are far more likely to involve violence.” It also quoted Britain’s Chief Rabbi as warning that “the position of Jews in Europe today is very difficult….Jews in Europe have begun to ask, is there a place for us here?” Perhaps the most telling detail in the Jewish Chronicle article was this: while the SPCJ report “originally stated that in over three-quarters of the antisemitic incidents the perpetrators were reported as being of North African origin,” this fact was later deleted from the text.

While French Jews flee to London, Londoners are scurrying elsewhere. On February 19, the BBC reported that over 600, 000 ethnic Brits have moved out of the capital in the last decade.

Is Obama A Terrible Golfer Who Bans Press From Golf Trips Because He’s Spending Much Of The Time Having Gay Sex With Reggie Love?Pat Dollard

Plaques should probably go up in the places where Barack Obama first kissed Reggie Love (his “body man”), Nick Colwin (a former “body man”), Alex Okrent (who mysteriously died in July and whose “autopsy was inconclusive”), and Kal Penn (who left his TV show “House” to move to DC and work in the White House in a position Obama had personally created just for him).  Read more >>>

Those who know Obama describe him as a pretty terrible golfer. Rumors have been swirling that he’s a terrible golfer because he’s not really interested in golfing but…gay sex. Supposedly he shuts down the courses and has his little gay tete a tetes in the clubhouses, “parties” really, as described by some, that the Secret Service keeps mum about the same way they covered for JFK’s and Clinton’s sexual escapades and excursions.  Crazy rumors flying for awhile, but then suddenly it was funny to see this report today from the White House press pool via The Weekly Standard.

It’s the Obama Way: Chicago to Teach Sex Ed to Kindergarteners

Back in 2007, Barack Obama encouraged schools to teach sex education to kindergarteners. It sounded crazy at the time but now it looks like schools are are going to enact the Obama sex ed plan.  Chicago schools are going to start teaching kindergarteners about sex.   (GWP)

The Antithesis of Multiculturalism: now Muslims are telling us what to wear

An Adelaide Islamic school wants its teachers to wear the hijab for school functions, or they could be sacked.

Remember when far left loon Darryn Hinch went apeshit and called  Michael Smith a “moronic redneck”  and a “racist” when Smith said burqas are un-Australian?

Will the unhinged Hinch now attack the Muselmaniacs who are  forcing the hijab on non-Muslim women who work in a taxpayer funded Muslim school?

THOUSANDS of school workers are being urged to protest directly to an Islamic school that threatened to sack non-Muslim female staff if they did not wear a headscarf.

The Independent Education Union of Australia’s SA branch is encouraging its 7000 members to email the Islamic College of South Australia’s principal and board chairman asking them to reconsider the policy.

An email sent to all members yesterday asks them to copy and paste text that says “as a concerned IEU member I implore you to reconsider your requirement for all women at the Islamic College to wear a head covering”.

“To continue to do so, cheapens the wearing of head covering by those who choose to, is unfair on your female staff, risks reinforcing negative stereotypes of the Muslim community and is the antithesis of multiculturalism,” the email says.

Sheik Haron in court

The Sheik shiite who sent letters of shame to widows of Aussie diggers, is back in the high court

Update:

CANBERRA, Australia — Australia’s highest court on Wednesday narrowly rejected the case of two Muslim activists who argued they had a constitutional free-speech right to send offensive letters to families of Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

Narrowly rejected? Who the hell can support this?

Iranian-born Man Horan Monis, a self-styled Sydney cleric also known as Sheik Haron, was charged with 12 counts of using a postal service in an offensive way and one count of using a postal service in a harassing way over three years until 2009. (Mullah)

Texas: State investigation launched after non-Muslim public school students dress in burqas

Democracy Poll:

Is Free Speech Dead in Australia?

“Still breathing, but almost extinct” got the most votes.

burqaTexasschool.jpg

Robert Spencer:

What a coincidence that this would be happening in Texas, of all places, where Governor Rick Perry partnered with the Aga Khan Foundation to develop a severely whitewashed, Islam-friendly curriculum. When Pamela Geller and I broke the story of that curriculum in 2011, the reaction was furious: one blogger demanded I stop linking him; another claimed that the curriculum material we had uncovered was not really the curriculum at all, and tried to pass off one teacher’s private notes as the real curriculum; and former friends and associates denounced us with a cult-like fervor that I still find hard to believe that a clueless and compromised Norquistian nonentity like Rick Perry could have inspired.

Now, lo and behold, we find Texas public school students dressing in burqas. And they’ve already learned that “Allah is the Almighty God.”

Wilders clarifies a key issue faced by democracies

Some people really hate the truth tellers:

The ABC will contact users whose details were leaked by a hacker opposing right wing Dutch politician Geert Wilders

OMG: a Japanese Koranimal?

Mohammed Issai Issaka has pleaded not guilty to rioting and resisting arrest in the September 2012 protest in Sydney’s CBD over the US-produced YouTube film Innocence of Muslims.

HOW refreshing to read Geert Wilders’s politically incorrect but dispassionate views (“Islamification of Western societies threatens everyone’s freedoms”, 18/2).  The Australian  (Opinion)

Describing Islam as a “totalitarian political ideology” clarifies a key issue we face in the democratic world. Totalitarianism is always associated with repression and curbs on freedoms to associate and criticise behaviour and customs. Any religion that imposes its law above the state and breeds fear in non-compliants, prevents acceptance of any other culture. Until moderate Muslims shake off that ideological yoke, they will continue to face difficulty assimilating in democratic cultures such as Australia.

We have a proud history of resettling immigrants. Those from Islamic backgrounds remain the exception because the rule of Islamic ideology conflicts with our laws, customs and values. It is not the host country that is out of step.

Carlo Bongarzoni, Clontarf, NSW

THE opposition to Geert Wilders manifests a disturbing totalitarian mentality. There is nothing to be afraid of in ideas. Wilders has been allowed into this country and is as entitled as any of the demonstrators to express views which will find their level of acceptance or rejection.

Like the opinions expressed by, say, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Christopher Hitchins, what Wilders has to say about malignant Islamic extremism will quite rightly strike a responsive chord with many.

Fair-minded people would then balance that against the fact that many Muslims are well-integrated here, have as much right to practise their faith as those of other religions and desire only to live out productive, peaceful lives.

Ron Sinclair, Bathurst, NSW

I HAVE lived in Muslim-majority provinces in India prior to the partition of the subcontinent into India and Pakistan, and I can assure James Miller (Letters, 20/2) that Islam is indeed sexist, discriminatory, medieval and totalitarian.

Islam allows for no separation between church and state. The Koran cannot be reinterpreted in the light of modernism or the Enlightenment – it is unalterable word of Allah.

Islam allows a man to have four wives, it does not allow a woman to have four husbands. Islam requires a rape victim to produce four male witnesses to the crime, otherwise she can be punished as an adulteress and perhaps stoned to death.

Islam does not allow apostasy – those who convert to another religion or atheism can be sentenced to death.

I had many Muslim girlfriends during my education in India. The teachers tried, with little success, to encourage their parents to allow them to complete their education instead of being taken out of school when they reached puberty and married to men they did not know.

This is still happening to girls in Afghanistan, Pakistan and many Middle East Muslim countries.

Atheist Group Petitions U.N. to Reject Islamic Calls for Global Blasphemy Laws

Update:

This is commendable. However, the UN is dominated by the Islamic bloc of 57 OIC countries, they will not give this any traction. As for atheists, I stand by my previous statement:

They believe in nothing and their numbers are next to nothing. They are noisy and obnoxious when it comes to Christianity and Judaism, but they are cringing dhimmies when it comes to islam. I start caring for atheists once they pledge their unwavering allegiance to the counter jihad.

From the Blaze »

“The right to criticize religion is protected…”

Christians, no doubt, fall victim to discrimination across the globe, but there’s another group that is increasingly calling out the crimes and offenses that are committed against it: Atheists and non-believers.

TheBlaze already told you about the International Humanist and Ethical Union’s (IHEU) recent report, which found widespread global mistreatment of non-theists. Now, the same organization has approached the United Nations during its Spring opening session and is appealing for attention to be drawn to the global assault that it says is underway against atheists, agnostics and humanists.

Additionally, the group is combating attempts by some Muslim nations to seek out a global blasphemy ban. In defending the rights of these minority groups, the organization is also supporting the freedom of any and all theistic beliefs.

International Humanist and Ethical Union Petitions U.N. to Reject Islamic Calls for Global Blasphemy Laws

In its report to the international body, the IHEU, a group that represents more than 120 non-theist groups in 45 countries, said that atheists are severely penalized in some states, with the death penalty serving as the most severe ramification for a refusal to embrace God. The submission to the U.N.’s Human Rights Council read, in part:

“The universal human right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, as laid down in Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent treaties, protects the freedom of conscience of every human being. Just as freedom of religion or belief protects the right of the individual to follow a religion, it also protects the right to reject any religion or belief, to identify as humanist or non-religious, and to manifest non-religious convictions through expression, teaching and practice. Whilst this fundamental right includes the right not to reveal your beliefs or religious identification, and the right not to take part in religious ceremonies, it also includes the freedom to argue for those beliefs in public, and to seek to persuade others of the merits of your beliefs, or the flaws of theirs, through debate and criticism.

“The right to criticize religion is protected also by Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” Atheist speech is therefore protected by both Articles 18 and 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Despite having protection under international law, the atheist collective claims that non-believers are regularly tormented and often face legal hurdles. These issues can range from more benign ramifications to death, depending on the nation these individuals reside in.

International Humanist and Ethical Union Petitions U.N. to Reject Islamic Calls for Global Blasphemy Laws

While atheists and Christians often clash in the public sphere, there are many sentiments that people of faith will agree with. The document defends the right to both practice — and reject — religion. Additionally, the IHEU’s efforts are aimed at preventing a world-wide ban on the defamation of religion, a sentiment that some Islamic nations have been seeking through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Reuters has more about calls for a blasphemy ban:

…Earlier this month a top official of the 57-nation Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said the body would be focusing on getting agreement on criminalizing denigration of religion in coming talks with Western countries.

In November last year, the head of the 21-country Arab League told the U.N. Security Council in New York his organisation wanted a binding international framework to ensure “that religious faith and its symbols are respected”.

The IHEU, and other non-governmental rights groupings, argue that many Muslim governments use this terminology and the concept of “religious blasphemy” within their own countries to cow both atheists and followers of other religions.

The IHEU fears that this designation would empower nations to denigrate both non-believers and those who embrace other faiths outside of the Islamic sphere. The organization specifically called out Afghanistan, Iran, Maldives, Mauritania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Sudans as nations that give the death penalty in cases pertaining to personal beliefs.

The IHEU also argued in its document that religious systems do not have human rights and that individuals do, thus there should be no conflict between “the rights of religion and the right to free speech.” It’s main argument? People should be protected, regardless of what they believe (or don’t believe, for that matter).

“There is no conflict in law between these rights and freedoms,” explained Sonja Eggerickx, president of IHEU. “The conflict arises where national laws oppress the rights to freedom of thought and expression which we all deserve.”

Jihad against France in Cameroon:

Jihad group threatens to murder French hostage family if its demands aren’t met

Kidnapping infidels and releasing them for ransom or killing them — whichever is more advantageous for the Muslims — is fully sanctioned in Islamic law: “As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them.
