Akbar Ahmed’s Lackey: “the Islamic faith has very little to do with terrorism…”

No, its not April Fools; Akbar Ahmed’s lackey Harrison Akins explains the global jihad:

U.S. must understand tribal society

After spending a decade listening to news reports about the threat from radical “Islamists,” I began to work for the world-renowned anthropologist Akbar Ahmed, currently the Ibn Khaldun chair of Islamic studies at American University and the former Pakistani ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Harrison Akins

And what is the “world-renowned Akbar Ahmed’s” message?

“The Islamic faith has very little to do with terrorism. It is, in fact, the structural breakdown and conflict between oppressed Muslim tribes on the periphery and brutal central governments that are the driving forces behind the war on terror.” –The Tennessean prints  stuff like this. 1. “the Islamic faith has very little to do with terrorism”???

    Mohammed thought otherwise.

“I have been made victorious through terror” Bukhari 1.7.331 and 4.52.220

The same historian ibn Khaldun stated “the Christians could not float a plank on the inland sea”.
ie. Muslims captured vessels on the Mediterranean, killed, captured and enslaved and stole cargo.
This is a main reason why Europe experienced the Dark Ages.
Muslims raided the coastline, destroying croplands, killing, raping and enslaving.

And how about the first Muslim Christian interfaith at Jerusalem?
When caliph Umar rode into Jerusalem in 637AD, bishop Sophronius wrote:
“Why are the troops of the Saracens attacking us?

Why has there been so much destruction and plunder?

Why are there incessant outpourings of human blood?

Why are the birds of the sky devouring human bodies?

Why have the churches been pulled down and the cross mocked?

The God-hating Saracens overrun places not allowed to them, plunder cities, devastate fields, burn down villages, set on fire the holy churches, rape the nuns and overturn sacred monasteries”.

Harrison Atkins is a dangerous idiot.

What is the next generation of Americans going to believe if this is what they are teaching at our universities?

That is why our Education Portfolio is so important.
