Lakemba Mustard: Australians must submit to Islamic mores or risk inciting a “tectonic event like 7/7”

Londonistan jihad attacks resonate in Muslim occupied zones DownUnder

There must be a “dramatic reassessment of issues,” or we have it coming, says British Muslim scholar Aftak Malik.

“Nice little country you got here, what a shame if something happened to it”…..

Scholar Aftab Malik, at the Lakemba Mosque in Sydney, says there’s a “sense of uneasiness” in the Muslim community  — (our WoJ doctor recommends castor oil or similar strong laxative!)

It sounds like a warning….the link below has the full article but omits the ‘uneasiness’ in Sudan, Northern Nigeria, Egypt, Iraq, Syria and numerous other nations.

“Unfortunately, it took the 7/7 terror attacks for Brits to really consider the fact we have to go beyond issues of Halal meat and the length of one’s beard,” Mr Malik said.
Oh – those  ignorant Brits – they should have got on board a little earlier with halal food, sharia-finance, hijabbery, sharia law courts and ‘no go zones’…..
“Unfortunately, for British Muslims, it took a terrorist attack for us to have that discussion,” he said.
Perhaps it was more unfortunate for the victims of 7/7… but they were just kafirs, they don’t count….

Here’s the full article….the mind boggles:

THE nation must confront deep-rooted issues troubling Muslim Australians or risk inciting a “tectonic” event such as the 2005 London bombings, warns a British Muslim scholar embedded for three months in southwest Sydney’s Muslim community.

“Embedded” is a strange word for an Islamonazi behind enemy lines.

Aftab Malik, 37, said a “sense of uneasiness” existed in Muslim Australia that he recognised in British Muslims before the July 7, 2005, suicide bombings by Islamist terrorists that killed 52 people, prompting a dramatic reassessment of issues.

“Unfortunately, it took the 7/7 terror attacks for Brits to really consider the fact we have to go beyond issues of Halal meat and the length of one’s beard,” Mr Malik said.

The visiting member of the UN Alliance of Civilisations, a group formed by then UN secretary-general Kofi Annan in 2005 to “counter the forces that fuel polarisation and extremism”, said Australia needed to have discussions “about culture, about meaning, about belonging”.

“Unfortunately, for British Muslims, it took a terrorist attack for us to have that discussion,” he said. “We should learn from our mistakes. You need to pre-empt this. Don’t wait till something tragic happens.”

Mr Malik wrapped up his three-month stint in Lakemba, Australia’s unofficial Muslim capital, with a reflective lecture on Tuesday. The lecture was titled Let’s Be Honest and featured a few home truths for politicians and 476,000 Muslims alike.

Mr Malik took great interest in Julia Gillard’s visit last month to southwest Sydney’s Muslim communities. “It was quiet for two months and then suddenly when the election was announced there was a spate of activity in the Lakemba, Liverpool and Bankstown areas,” he said. “I think the Muslims resented that. They said, ‘We’re not silly people, we’re not stupid people’. I thought the Muslims felt they were being talked down to as opposed to engaged with. And I picked that up very quickly.”

He said Muslim Australians were enduring an “identity crisis”. Mothers struggled with patriarchal issues in modern Australia. Their highly politicised, 9/11-generation sons are torn between the traditional Islamic worlds of their dads at home and the iPhone worlds of friends.

Watching footage of protests in central Sydney last September, when a US-made anti-Islamic film insulting Mohammed sparked riots worldwide, Mr Malik saw young Australian men executing religion “in a grotesque way”.

“You can’t isolate these issues,” he said. “It’s tied up like a spider’s web. The spider sits in the middle and even if right on the periphery of it a little twig hits the web, the spider knows. The Muslims are in a spider’s web right now.”

Multicultural Affairs Minister Kate Lundy said Mr Malik’s reports of “uneasiness” among Muslim communities was a matter of “it depends who you talk to”.

“You’ve always got to be diligent and thorough,” Senator Lundy said. “(To) not take anything for granted and make sure you’ve got a constant conversation so you know what young people’s frustrations are.”

She said Ms Gillard’s southwest Sydney visit was misinterpreted.

In a week immersed in Lakemba’s bustling streets, The Weekend Australian discovered a new generation of leaders tackling serious issues of religious extremism, drug addiction, unemployment and the “normalisation” of Muslim Australians in their unique, culturally-specific ways, with little input from the federal government. There are Lakemba drug counsellors such as Haisam Haidar, 24, running Islam-specific 12-step rehabilitation programs while trying to raise funds for a 24-hour rehab centre.

“We feel like it is needed,” Mr Haidar said. “There’s a lot of ice users out there. Cocaine. Heroin. Marijuana is a big problem. They are getting younger and younger. That’s the sad truth.”

There are young leaders such as Sahar Dandan from the Lebanese Muslim Association. She’s been nicknamed “AK-47” and “Dream Killer” by elders for the kind of thinking that saw her organising lectures challenging extremist thinking with titles such as The Counter Jihad and The Roots of Radicalisation.

“There’s a huge gap at the moment between youth and let’s call them the elders of the community,” Ms Dandan said.

“I lived a double life. Who I was at school and who I was at home had to be different. That’s difficult. A lot of the youth are in the same boat..

“There isn’t anything that they can connect to in terms of where their elders are and they feel a disconnect between being Lebanese, Syrian, Pakistani, whatever you might be, and being Australian and being Muslim. I think it’s manifesting itself in different ways amongst our youth. And we’re losing some of them. Some are going really Australian, some are going really extreme, and some are in the middle.”

Mr Malik said “in Britain, change came from the young, guided by the elders”.

  1. But, but, the 7/7 terrorist attacks had nothing to do with islam, or so the carefully crafted myth goes. Is this muslim now debunking that myth?

Will pollies ever cotton on to the fact that the myth is a lie, to which they contributed?

  2. We must be “pre-emptive”, he warns us.
“Pre-emptive” means “dialogue” which means they tell us their religion is better than ours and then we ask what they want and they tell us. Then we accede.
Wouldn’t want any “uneasiness” to occur, would we?

Meanwhile, Muslims arrive by the shipload and boatload every day, and then learn how to be “uneasy”. Someone must be giving them the wrong message, that it’s good here or something, and then they are so disappointed. When I am in Muslim countries, I always make a point of telling them how awful Australia is. Doesn’t seem to do any good though…

  3. I am surprised that “The Australian” (one of the very very few credible and respectable national broadsheets in Oz, if not the only one) should run such a Takja style documentary and not call the “invitation” by those hate preachers what it is: BLACKMAIL. And this is happening while the muslim community make up, so I’m told, only 2.5 percent of the Australian population?

Just imagine, what will happen to the “natives” when, by their extremely high fertility and the thousands upon thousands illegal entries by maritime invasion, this percentage will rise….

  4. Alliance of Civilizations

Another OIC initiative to stop infidels from defending themselves against jihad:

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) is an initiative proposed by the Prime Minister of the Government of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, at the 59th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in 2005. It was co-sponsored by the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The initiative seeks to galvanize international action against extremism through the forging of international, intercultural and interreligious dialogue and cooperation. The Alliance places a particular emphasis on defusing tensions between the Western and Islamic worlds.

Here a report from February 2013:

The 5th Global Forum of The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations takes place in Vienna today. In our experience most UN initiatives these days have a pro-sharia twist. The UNHRC for instance spends a lot of time criticising Israel but does not seem to adequately confront the human rights abuses elsewhere (1). Perhaps the UNHRCs work is corrupted because it gives membership to countries who are human rights abusers. It produces UNHRC Resolution 16/18 but apparently does nothing to ensure that the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) permit the religious freedom, a freedom that it purports to uphold. In effect UNHRC Resolution 16/18 has become a pro-sharia document designed specifically to expand the reach of sharia.

We expect that the Alliance of Civilizations will be no different and will prove to be yet another mechanism to demonise sharia critics and facilitate the expansion of the zone of sharia compliance that already causes immeasurable misery around the world. We will be watching the 5th Global Forum with great interest.

  5. Yes, we must kiss Muslm ass really really hard.
Otherwise those Muslims might get verwy verwy cwoss.

    Bring it on.

Go live in a sharia shithole of your choice: assholes.

  6. Copy of a letter sent to the Australian Newspaper.

Aftab Malik’s comments on his research in the Lakemba Muslim community (“London echoes in Muslim centre”, 13/4), is an example of failing to deal with the real issues.

It’s quite right for there to be a “sense of uneasiness” in the Muslin community. Many of the beliefs and practices of Islam are not acceptable in a modern democratic society like Australia.

The social history of modern democratic society can be defined by the progressive elimination of unacceptable beliefs and practices.

All migrants, to a greater or lesser extent, have suffered the generation gap issue. Many of the older generation, the parents, hold on to their old beliefs and practices. Many of the new generation, the young, are prepared to embrace the beliefs and practices of the wider Australian community. This inevitably causes tension within families and communities.

Of course, eventually, the old generation dies out and are replaced with the new generation who are more comfortable with the beliefs and practices of the wider Australian community.

Many of those in the Muslin Community in Australia desire to live by beliefs and practices which are not acceptable. It’s known that many unacceptable aspects of Islam are presently being practiced within Muslim communities.

More should be done to facilitate the elimination of the unacceptable beliefs and practices in all migrant communities.

Freedom of choice is fundamental to our way of life, and yet if you happen to have been born into a Muslim family the chances are that you do not have the choice of rejecting the religion of your parents. If freedom of choice is to mean anything, there should be an organization which assists and protects those who wish to free themselves from an imposed religion.

The real issue is whether or not the Muslim community can make their way of life compatible with the laws and democratic practices of the wider Australian community. It’s they who need to adjust, and not the wider Australian community.

Islam is not just a religion, but also a political movement. It needs to be said loudly and clearly that modern western democracy is superior in every way.

By pointing to the violence that occurred in London, Aftab Malik is being party to attempted intimidation. We should never allow the threat of violence stop us from actively protecting our modern democratic way of life.

Past generations had to fight wars to protect our modern democratic way of life. We should be prepared to do the same.

    Yours, xxxxxxx

  7. i.e:
“We keel you because you don’t make us feel like we belong here.”

Funny thing, but among sane people, no murderers should feel welcome.

However, we are not ruled by sane people; we are currently ruled by self-promoting salesmen, by criminal frauds and traders who value nothing, and are willing to sell us all out by selling our countries to our enemies by buying their money, so that our future generations are indebted to and will be eventually enslaved by their new owners.

In pretending to believe that islam is a religion (at all, much less one “of peace”) and so accepting Muhammad’s claims that god todl him to commit the crimes of extortion, slavery, and murder against all the non-moslems in the world, (and so all uniquely moslem hate-crimes and death-threats are really only “protected religious speech”) they have betrayed us all.

Deliberately maintaining the LIE that Jihad = “peaceful inner struggle,” against ALL the clear evidence and Qur’anic definitions to the contrary, is not only to wilfully engage in perpetuating the perpetration of the crime of public deception, but to act as a willing accessory enabling all the crimes of our self-determined moslem enemies.

Any lawyer, judge, or politician who enages in such practices is a criminal and an outlaw, and so should be dealt with accordingly.

Islam is extortion, period. And extortion is a crime.

  8. So the muslims are a separate special people. Julia is visiting foreign land and has to engage the muslims all the time not just once every election. I thought these carpet humpers were the same as the rest of us Aussie citizens? Gee I think the backlash would be massive if there was a 7/7. We are not poms. The politicians should think about this.

  9. Yes, Sheik in relation to your link to Muslim threats: i.e. : Fadi Rahman.

LOL what a joke. These clowns are hopeless…….

    This fool has been busted.

Then there was the muslim bitch that was arrested in regards to drug matters centred around Telopea St Bankstown:

    LOL Send the bastards home.
