Inspector Ricky Veerappan,  (ironically) from the police force’s “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau” confirmed that he and other officers from the hate crime division threatened  Rabbi Mendel Kaplan of the Chabad Flamingo Synagogue in the Toronto suburb of Thornhill to disinvite Pamela Geller.

Kaplan had rented out space in his synagogue as a venue for a speech to be given by Geller.

Terrorists Can Speak in Canada, Pamela Geller Can’t

“The rules are fairly straightforward. Muslims are allowed to do anything they like because interfering with them might rile them up. And non-Muslims are only allowed to praise Islam because otherwise Muslims might get riled up.

There is no standard of behavior. Only a security concept that stakes everything on not riling Muslims up. And that means free speech goes by the wayside.”

Ezra Levant looks at the morality police who are rounding up woman who dares  to show an inch of ankle in Iran and Saudi Arabia and asks why police in Canada are enforcing “morality” here.
