“Christian Extremists” Do it Tough

Iran sentences Christians to 80 lashes for drinking wine for communion

Clearly this new President really is as moderate as the mainstream media is claiming. After all, he didn’t have these Christians killed!

“Iran gives Christians 80 lashes for communion wine as UN blasts human rights record,” by Benjamin Weinthal for FoxNews.com, October 24 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Four Iranian Christians were reportedly sentenced to 80 lashes for drinking wine for communion, a shocking punishment meted out even as a new United Nations report blasted the Islamic republic for its systematic persecution of non-Muslims.

They do nothing to prevent them from going and they do nothing to stop them from coming back:

Paki Council of Islamic Ideology Condones Rape

And then they tell us that ‘rape is unIslamic’. And the degenerated journaillie in the west will lap it up like a bunch of stray dogs:

The chairman of the Council told journalists that the Council rejected the Protection of Women Act because its provisions are not in line with Islamic injunctions. He said Islam determines procedures to evaluate criminality in cases of rape.

Obama’s Jihad Against Christianity

For months, the Obama-Hagel Pentagon has promised that reports of military trainers teaching troops that traditional Christian groups are extremists akin to terrorists were isolated incidents by rogue instructors. Now an official Army document contains evidence to the contrary.

Ironically, in the place where an Islamic radical—Maj. Nidal Hassan—committed an act of terrorism that murdered fourteen Americans, including the unborn child of one of the female victims—a presentation on terrorism singled out Bible-believing Christians and supporters of the Constitution as serious threats to this nation. Islamic terrorism was barely mentioned.  (More)

Obfuscation, cover-up, and deceit:

Is this the proper American Muslim response to jihad in America?

In “Is this the proper American Muslim response to jihad in America?” in the American Thinker, October 23, Pamela Geller shows the hollowness of Islamic supremacist groups’ condemnation of terrorism: There is a problem in Islam.

Instead, these Muslim groups urge Muslims not to talk to law enforcement (as with the notorious CAIR poster telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI), and they seek to dismantle counter-terror programs in the USA.

Great. Just Great:

New York Times hires Muslim columnist who rants about “massive Zionist conspiracy” that “rules America”

Why did the New York Times have to go all the way to Egypt to hire a new paranoid Islamic supremacist Jew-hater as a columnist? They could have hired 1000 Leftist or Islamic supremacist writers closer to home who would have said all the same things. “New columnist for New York Times is anti-Israel conspiracist,” by Jamie Weinstein for the Daily Caller, October 24 (thanks to JW):

In addition to your daily dose of liberal invective, you will now get a monthly infusion of anti-Israel conspiracy on the New York Times opinion page.

Earlier this month, the New York Times announced that it had hired Egyptian novelist Alaa Al-Aswany to write a monthly column for the paper. But according to Egypt scholar Eric Trager of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Al-Aswany buys into the conspiratorial notion that a cabal of Jews controls American leaders.

Writing in the New Republic, Trager explains that Al-Aswany has been able to cultivate an image of himself in the West as an enlightened liberal who ardently opposed the dictatorial regime of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. But his more nefarious views have largely been hidden from the West’s view because Al-Aswany most often expresses them in Arabic, says Trager.

For instance, notes Trager, Al-Aswany declared earlier this year on Egyptian television that President Obama is prevented from “go[ing] against Israel’s desire” by a “massive Zionist organization” that “rules America.”

Al-Aswany also holds the bizarre conspiratorial view that the United States supported the virulently anti-Semitic and anti-Israel Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in order to help Israel.

“[T]he United States supports the Muslim Brotherhood to reassure Israel,” Al-Aswany said on Egyptian television earlier this year, Trager reports….
