Wash U Muslim Students Association: We Need Imam on Campus After Traumatic Seal Team 6 Halloween Costumes

Hard to believe:

Muslim students at Washington University are asking for an imam on campus after several fraternity brothers dressed as SEAL Team 6 and Osama Bin Laden for Halloween.

Israel Haters and Hezbollah at the University of Washington

A concentrated and vicious strain of Israel hatred has taken root at the center of Washington State’s flagship University.

UK: Muslim Brotherhood protesters chase Brotherhood foe from stage, prevent him from speaking

The Muslim Brotherhood doesn’t want to engage or debate its opponents. It just wants to shout them down and destroy them. Like-minded neo-Brownshirts on U.S. college campuses now routinely shout down and shut down talks by those whose views they hate, and their fascist brethren such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Reza Aslan’s Aslan Media devote their time to trying to get talks by foes of jihad terror canceled wherever and whenever they’re scheduled.

Brave New Britain Update: “VIDEO: ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ protesters storm London university lecture on Egypt,” by Robin de Peyer for the London Evening Standard, November 14 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A guest lecture at a London university was abandoned when protesters backing Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood chased the speaker from the stage.Speaker Mohamed El-Nabawy had to be ushered off stage by security guards when around 30 demonstrators stormed a lecture theatre at Bloomsbury’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), which is part of the University of London.

They were said to have targeted the public discussion focusing on the challenges facing Egypt, because of Mr El-Nabawy’s ties to the Tamarod group which opposed ex President Mohammed Morsi.

The movement played a key role in the ousting of Muslim Brotherhood-backed Morsi in June this year.

Footage which has emerged online shows the chaotic scenes as chanting demonstrators take control of the lecture theatre and guests are led to safety by security guards.

A spokesman for the university’s Palestinian Society, which organised the event, said: “While we fully respect, and understand, the highly-charged context of any discussion on contemporary Egyptian politics, we believe that the disruptions pre-empted any possibility of fruitful exchange.

“We apologise to our guests for any distress these events may have caused, and thank the SOAS staff for their cooperation and support.”

The society blamed members of the public who are not affiliated with SOAS for the disruption at the event, which was held last month.

No arrangements for the lecture to be rescheduled have yet been made.

Scotland Yard said there was no record of police attending the demonstration.

  1. The problem with so-called “education” in universities is that its NOT merely neutral and academic; but has become a propaganda machine. and most teachers these days seem to be using Universities to promote Marxist-Socialist ideaologies rather than teach academics. Its to the point where so-called “educational” materials are teaching lies concerning Islam; I ran into a University textbook teaching garbage that Islam is a “religion of peace” and “just like christianity”. Of course, such is absurd if Islam were “just like christianity” it would be called Christianity and not “Islam”.

  2. Very articulate young man and with out the help of Common Core.

I think we can be honest, even after that great speech and the plethora of parents articulating an objection, it is all for naught.

The government will ignore everyone’s concerns and carry on with the Communist Common Core.

  3. Actually, the kid sounds like an idiot to me:

““If everything I learn in high school is a measurable objective, I have not learned anything,” Young proclaimed.

“Government bureaucrats will never be able to measure “creativity, appreciation, inquisitiveness” but they are the “purpose of education,” he lectured.

“Somewhere our Founding Fathers are turning in their graves — pleading, screaming and trying to say to us that we teach to free minds. We teach to inspire. We teach to equip, the careers will come naturally.”

So let me get this straight: He actually imagines schools CAN teach (or “equip,” or “inspire”) kids to be “inquisitive,” “appreciative” (TO, FORM, or FOR – WHAT?!) and “creative” (!?) which are of course all only circumstantial, situational, and context-free abstractions, subjectively removed from reality, in stead of objectively measurable universal values or principles (such as basic morality, biology, and science!)?

    Like I said: idiocy!
