Rest In Whitewash: Networks Set to Ignore Mandela’s Communist Party Ties, Dictator Friends

Tim Graham | December 7, 2013,  NewsBusters

At the Daily Beast, Michael Moynihan attempted to overcome the tendency of journalists and celebrities to make Nelson Mandela a secular saint. Moynihan recalled that when Margaret Thatcher died, these same people denounced her for here “indulgence” of right-wing dictators like Agosto Pinochet in Chile, who allowed his country to become a democracy.–Read more
His successors understanding of democracy seems to be lacking quite a bit:

Obama On Mandela. Or, Off, Off, You Lendings

“Now he belongs to the ages….We shall not see his like again….The moral arc of the universe bends toward justice”–Borrowed weeds, a magpie’s florilegium. (His fans will never recover.)

Mandela and the mess he left behind

South Africa today is the murder capital of the world, a nation where a woman is raped every 30 seconds, often by AIDs carriers who go unpunished, and where whites are anything but the citizens of a democratic country which honors the principles of equality and freedom.

As if the Obamster had something to do with it:

Media Blames GOP for Apartheid

The left media has continued exploiting the death of Nelson Mandela to attack conservatives. The latest version is Sam Kleiner’s attack at Foreign Policy and the Huffington Post, “Apartheid Amnesia: How the GOP conveniently forgot about its role in propping up a white supremacist regime.” Kleiner acknowledges that President Ronald Reagan officially opposed apartheid, and that some GOP leaders voted to impose sanctions. But he tries to claim Democrats owned the anti-apartheid struggle, while conservatives backed the regime. Joel B. Pollak

What a turd:

Barbara Walters Not Cool with Politicians Swearing Oath of Office on Bible

“The basic tenet in America is the separation. And it’s very important. And it’s very important, the separation of church and state.”

Of course, “separation of church and state” is nowhere in the Constitution. Walters didn’t mention this.

For Moonbats, Mandela’s Bombs Were the Good Bombs. And don’t you mention the ‘necklaces’

The Mandela Cover-up Unravels

The communists are proud of Mandela and what he accomplished. His false claims of being a non-communist fooled South Africa and the world (except for his domestic and international comrades who were in on the secret). The official SACP statement includes these words: “At his arrest in August 1962, Nelson Mandela was not only a member of the then underground South African Communist Party, but was also a member of our Party’s Central Committee.”

A Prize For a Racist Tart

In the spring of 2002, just over six months after 9/11 and shortly after the Taliban was ousted from power in Afghanistan, bringing to an end its war on women, Winfrey was approached by a different president of the United States who sought her high-profile assistance in publicizing the re-entry of women into Afghan society. As the Chicago Tribune‘s Jeff Zeleny put it in March 2002: “the Bush administration quietly asked Oprah Winfrey to join an official U.S. delegation to tour Afghanistan’s schools, celebrating young girls’ return to the classroom following the fall of the Taliban regime.” Amazingly, Winfrey declined. As her PR rep confirmed, “Given her responsibility to the show, she isn’t adding anything to her calendar. … She was invited, but she respectfully declined.” The trip was to include Condoleezza Rice, Karen Hughes and other high-profile women. But Oprah was clearly the star, and when she declined, the trip was called off.

  1. Here is a comment that truly hit the nail on the head If you say or remind people about the not so nice Mandela:

“Remember when Kim Jong-il died, and some North Koreans were punished for not being adequately upset in public? Ring any bells??”

  2. RE: Mandela and the mess he left behind

Shh! You mustn’t mention the rape and murder numbers in S.A., ever since Mandela became president it has become a veritable Utopia.

RE: Barbara Walters Not Cool with Politicians Swearing Oath of Office on Bible

Of course Walters has a problem with swearing an oath. She’s never been one to respect oaths. Especially the oath of marriage.

I thought she was retiring and we were done with this blowhard hypocrite.
