“Every religion, every faith, every moral doctrine understands the Golden Rule…”
Turnbull claims ALL religions abide by the golden rule..
‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’-
How does it feel having such an ignoramus for PM, unelected to add insult to injury!
Violent extremism Islam is a challenge to the most fundamental Australian values. We are the most successful multicultural society in the world. (Not. It failed here like everywhere else,) None of us can look in the mirror and say “All Australians look like me.” Australians look like every race, like every culture, like every ethnic group in the world. (Its not about skin colour, Turncoat. It isn’t!)
We been able to be so successful because of a fundamental Australian value of mutual respect. It’s the glue that binds this very diverse country together. (Islam doesn’t respect us, Turncoat!)
Every religion, every faith, every moral doctrine understands the golden rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
(Islam doesn’t have the Golden Rule, you dolt! Learn that before you sound off!)
So if we want to be respected, if we want our faith, our cultural background to be respected, then we have to respect others. That is a fundamental part of the Australian project. (Again: a man that ignorant should not lecture us. Islam doesn’t respect the unbeliever. Islam will never respect us. If they want our respect, they have to earn it!)
(Continued below the fold)
According to Liberal MP Fiona Scott – a Turnbull supporter and the Coalition’s version of Sarah Hanson-Young – Curtis Cheng’s murder was just “one little incident” briefly interrupting 100 years of delightful Islamic peace in Australia.
UPDATE. Scott’s entire, waffly interview, including a claim that The Ghan runs “from Sydney … across the country”:
ISIS Supporter Rebecca Kay, has the gall to protest Wilder’s visa into Australia:
“We see him as a hate preacher,” she said.
She has a rather warped concept of what a hate preacher is.
Rebecca Kay is a frothing-at-the-mouth convert to Islam and the wife of Albert Darwiche….one of the sons of a notorious criminal Lebanese family involved in drugs, guns, and anything else they can make illegal gain from.
WTF? We have a “Freedom commissioner?” Who the hell creates these ridiculous positions?
Not all extremist talk – intolerant, hateful speech – not all of it leads to violence. But it’s where all violence begins. And we have to call it out. We have to call out the language, the examples of disrespect, the language of hatred wherever it is practised.
People who tell you that they want to kill you should be taken seriously, Mr Turncoat. It will not go away by shutting us up!
Only last night, I spoke with the British Prime Minister David Cameron who of course faces similar – many would say greater – challenges in this area of violent extremism. I look forward to that cooperation and that sharing of experiences being deepened in the weeks and months and years ahead.
Camoron is equally clueless. He is a pandering dolt and you won’t learn anything from him, Turncoat.
It says a lot about Mr Cameron and the shared values and interests of Australia and the United Kingdom that the first thing he said to me was to pass on his condolences for the death of Curtis Cheng, and I rang Curtis’ son today and passed on the condolences of the British Prime Minister in addition to my own.
How nice. But niceties don’t change a thing.
