Allahu Akbar is a traditional Arabic phrase meaning “I have a mental illness and I am acting alone and anything I do is not connected in any way with Islam. Oh my, I appear to have removed this here infidel’s head.”
Let’s round up some of the latest “Allahu Akbar” outbursts, beginning with a certain fellow’s views on Spain:
British high profile hate preacher Anjem Choudary, jailed last week for inspiring the joining of ISIS, also saw retaking of Spain as important as he sent his wife Rubana Akhtar a map with the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Europe under the black standard of ISIS. “Spain will be conquered by 2020 insha’allah, Allahu Akbar! This is the 5 year plan,” he told his wife.
Anjem’s five-year plan may require revision after he’s sentenced later this month. In Nigeria:
Christopher Pama, a Baptist pastor, fled from Mubi, Adamawa State, to Cameroon with his two daughters and wife when Boko Haram insurgents overran the community on October 29, 2014 … “It is the worst day I have ever witnessed in my life and it is a day I will never forget,” said Pama …According to the man of God, one hour later, seven members of the Boko Haram terrorist group entered the town and started chanting ‘Allahu Akbar.’ He said when the residents saw them, they started running.
Always a smart move. In Germany:
A couple at a German music festival have been attacked by a knifeman who witnesses claim was heard shouting “Allahu Akbar”. A 66-year-old woman, believed to be the other victim’s wife, is said to be fighting for her life.
A group of jihadist militants in the southern Philippines broke into a jail Saturday night, freeing eight jihadist comrades and twenty other prisoners.Authorities say jail guards put up minimal resistance when confronted with a group of dozens of heavily armed terrorists … The terrorists approached the prison using two women, who asked to enter to deliver food. Upon distracting the guards, a group of an estimated 50 terrorists wielding assault rifles broke into the facility shouting, “allahu akbar,” the battle cry of Islamic terrorist groups, releasing eight other members of the group, and using four government trucks to drive out of the facility.
Oguzhan Akdin was among thousands of prisoners released early from prison in Turkey to make room for new prisoners allegedly involved in a July coup attempt … Witnesses say Akdin, who was 16 at the time, shouted “Allahu Akbar” (“God is great”) while he shot the priest. After his arrest, Akdin said he murdered the priest in response to cartoon depictions of the prophet Muhammad published in Denmark.
Upset about a cartoon? Just murder a priest. It all makes sense. In France:
A police officer in the southern French city of Toulouse was stabbed in the throat after her attacker allegedly tried to grab her gun, French officials said. Police spokesman David Delattre said the attack took place Tuesday afternoon when a person entered the Rempart Saint-Etienne police station and attacked the officer with a knife. The man, reported to be of Algerian origin…
There’s a shock. And in Australia:
Sydney man Hamdi Alqudsi has been sentenced to a minimum of six years’ jail for helping young Australians travel to Syria to fight in the country’s civil war … After Alqudsi was sentenced this morning, his family called out “Allahu akbar” in the courtroom and he responded, “I’ll call you, man.”
See you in 2022, snackbar dude.
