Apostasy: “Whoever changes his (Islamic) religion, kill him”
An insightful article on apostasy, taqiyya, and several other aspects unique to Islam. “Apostasy in Islam : The point of no return,” by Abdallah al-Araby for Kabyles, September 4:
Apostasy in Islam is equal to treason. In Islam, politics and religion are inseparably intertwined. A famous fundamental expression in Islam says it all, “Islam is a religion and a state.”
“Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.” — Bukhari 9.84.57 ‘baddala deenahu, faqtuhulu’
For fourteen centuries, Muslims were able to conceal some of their most outrageous teachings from the rest of the world. Their deceptions were hidden behind language, cultural and geographic barriers. Modern technology and new communication methods have made it difficult for Muslims to hide the dark side of Islam any longer. Muslim advocates, especially in the West, are now faced with the tough task of explaining the discrepancies between how they want Islam perceived as a tolerant, civil and peaceful religion ; and the realties of some of its basic tenets, which are quite the opposite. They’re finding it hard to maintain the façades and to simultaneously remain faithful to the harsh doctrines that are essential to the practices of authentic Islam.
Damage control has become one of their main objectives in modern societies. It’s not unusual for various types of contradictions to happen as they do so. This was recently demonstrated by some rulings made by Sheikh Ali Gomaa, the Grand Mufti of Egypt. He is Egypt’s superior authority in charge of issuing official fatwas (Islamic religious rulings).
Ali Gomaa issued a wide range of opinions on critical issues of Islam such as Jihad, women’s status and the right of Muslims to change religions. News agencies around the world published them in multiple languages. In regard to a Muslim’s right to renounce Islam and to join another religion that is called apostasy, his initial rulings sounded lenient. The Washington Post-Newsweek forum in English was one of the forums that published his decisions.
Here are excerpts from what he said on the issue of apostasy : “The essential question before us is : Can a person who is a Muslim choose a religion other than Islam ? The answer is yes, they can, because the Quran says, ‘Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion,’ (Quran 109:6) and, ‘Whosoever will, let him believe, and whosever will, let him disbelieve,’ (Quran18:29) and, ‘There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is distinct from error’ (Quran 2:256).” He added, “These verses from the Quran discuss a freedom that God affords all people. But from a religious prospective, the act of abandoning one’s religion is a sin punishable by God on the Day of Judgment. If the case in Question is one of merely rejecting faith, then there is no worldly punishment.” He went on to state, “If, however, the crime of undermining the foundations of the society is added to the sin of apostasy, then the case must be referred to a judicial system whose role is to protect the integrity of the society…..According to Islam, it is not permitted for Muslims to reject their faith, so if a Muslim were to leave Islam and adopt another religion, they would thereby be committing a sin in the eyes of Islam. Religious belief and practice is a personal matter, and society only intervenes when that personal matter becomes public and threatens the well-being of its members.”
My first reaction to these statements was that I thought they were balanced and reasonable. I had hopes that Islam was softening its extreme attitudes towards those who leave Islam. It seemed that the Grand Mufti was emphasizing that Muslims do have the freedom to change religions. He emphatically implied that such matters are personal, between man and his Creator. He also asserted that although such conversions are sinful, that God, rather than man, would enact the punishments in the Day of Judgment. He only cited one exception. It would be in instances wherein a person’s conversion to another faith had the potential to undermine the foundations of a society. In such cases he suggested that the courts should get involved to settle the issue. Although I was concerned about that exception, I dismissed it as unimportant. I couldn’t imagine how a person switching religions could be interpreted as an act that could undermine the foundation of an entire society.
My hopes were soon shattered. A few days later, the Grand Mufti, issued another statement. This time he was speaking in Arabic in Cairo and what he said was completely different : “What I actually said was that Islam prohibits a Muslim from changing his religion and it’s a crime that must be punished.”
It was then that I realized that we had all been fooled, again. The Muslim strategy of only speaking half-truths was still alive and well. What is being said in places like Washington to English speaking groups is almost simultaneously retracted and rendered meaningless when they speak in Arabic in places like Cairo. What was originally presented as simply a rare and remote possible exception had become the general rule. Changing religions from Islam to another faith is interpreted as an act of apostasy. The Islamic mindset dictates that such apostasies can undermine the foundations of Muslim societies.
It’s difficult for non-Muslims to understand how a personal decision to change one’s religion by one Muslim or even hundreds could undermine an entire Islamic society. And, assuming that it could, would denial of the facts change anything ? Apparently the grand Mufti thought so. However, he must have imagined that he achieved both of his goals. On one hand, it was to polish Islam’s image in the West ; and on the other, he spoke the truth about Islamic polices in the Islamic world.
The only way that Islamists like the Mufti can continually get away with such deceptive maneuvers is for us to allow them to do so. There must be clarity about Islam’s consistent track record of doubletalk about thorny issues such as this one. Non-Muslims really need to know the truth about just what constitutes apostasy in the Muslim world.
Tolerant Verses One of the most popular tactics that Muslims utilize to promote their religion is quotes from the portions of the Quran that Mohammad wrote while he headquartered in Mecca during the first years of Islam. In that stage of Islam’s development it was weak in numbers and influence. At that time he was trying to win the support of the Arabs by peaceful means. His attitudes and strategies completely changed after he moved to Medina. There his movement gained numbers and he was able to organize a strong army and to impose his religion by force. In order to cover the contradictions between the tone of the verses written in Mecca and those written in Medina, Mohammad came up with the doctrine of the abrogator and the abrogated. It nullifies the Quran’s Meccan revelations and replaces them with those of Medina. When Islamists quote the Mecca verses that sound peaceful and conciliatory they know full well that those verses have been rendered obsolete by the more recent Medinian verses. Here are some examples of the Mecca verses that they use :
Say : O ye that reject Faith ! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine Sura 109 : 1-6
Say, “The truth is from your Lord” : Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it) : for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in : if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink ! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on ! Sura 19:29
Let there be no compulsion in religion : Truth stands out clear from Error : whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things . Sura 2:256
What do the Quran and Hadith really teach about Apostasy ?
In the Quran Most Quranic references deal with how God looks on apostates and how he is going to punish them in the Day of Judgment. The first verse has an indirect inference about apostasy, but nonetheless is used by Muslims as a basis for punishing apostates
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is : execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land : that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter ; Sura 5:33
But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted ; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray. Sura 3:90
Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith – but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. Sura 16:106
Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way. Sura 4:137
In the Hadith
Ibn Abbaas said : The Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever changes his (Islamic) religion, kill him.” Al-Bukhary (number 6922)
Abd-Allah ibn Masood said : The Messenger of Allah said : “It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim who bears witness that there is no god except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, except in one of three cases : a soul (in case of murder) ; a married person who commits adultery ; and one who leaves his religion and separates from the main body of Muslims.” Sahih Al Bukhary number 6484 and Sahih Muslim number 1676
How Does Islam Deal with Apostates ?
An Apostate in Islam is a Muslim who rejects Islam after being either born into it or after embracing it as a convert from some other religion. An apostate is looked upon as worse than an infidel who has never professed faith in Allah and Mohammad as his prophet or in any way practiced Islam.
Apostasy in Islam is equal to treason. In Islam, politics and religion are inseparably intertwined. A famous fundamental expression in Islam says it all, “Islam is a religion and a state.” It is obvious that treason within Islam has spiritual and cultural dimensions. It does not write-off the public rejection of its fundamentals as merely private matters of personal preference in regard to religion. Such actions are viewed as bad influences on Islamic societies as a whole that could escalate into widespread seditions. That is why they deal with it so harshly.
Apostasy within Islam can encompass thoughts of the heart, words spoken and deeds. An example of apostasy of the heart would be most anything that might indicate disbelief in the supremacy of Allah. Associations with any deities such as Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and claims that such possess divinity that parallels that of Allah would be apostasy by the heart. Apostasy of the tongue would be any words that question the authenticity of the Quran and the tenets of Islam. Serious infractions such as praying to idols, treating the Quran in a casual/disrespectful manner and ceasing to recite one’s 5 daily prayer sessions can be quickly deemed as apostasy by deeds.
There are a few types of situations in which Muslims would not be counted as liable for rejecting the faith. Ignorant mistakes, misunderstandings about Sharia Law and instances of coercion to renounce Islam would fall into this category. The principle of Al Taqeyya makes the provision that any Muslim, who renounces Allah and/or his prophet Mohammad to preserve his own life, is not guilty of apostasy. Such is solely permitted in situations wherein the Muslim was giving lip service as opposed to the true feelings of his heart. (See Sura 16:106)
Islam has two forms of apostasy ; the ordinary and the extreme. The ordinary pertains to situations in which the perpetrators did not intend to bring harm and insults to Islam. Under such circumstances most schools of Muslim jurisprudence would give the guilty person three days to express repentance. Those who fail to do so can incur severe punishments including imprisonment, torture and execution. Those who are charged with extreme apostasy aren’t given opportunities to express repentance. There is no waiting period for anyone who is indicted for purposely attempting to bring harm or insults to Islam, the Quran, and Mohammad. We have heard of people executed by family members, Islamic city councils and through the auspices of National Religious-State Islamic governments. In recent years there have been reports of the aforementioned executions from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt and Afghanistan. Unquestionably, some have been carried out secretly in Western democracies.
The various sects within Islam normally have similar policies about the severity of verdicts for female apostates as they would for men. The only difference would be that Shafiites, Malikites and Hanbalites would punish the woman exactly as they punish the man ; she would be given 3 days to repent or be executed. However, the Hanafites would be more lenient. They would permit a woman to serve out her sentence through life in prison until she either comes to repentance or dies.

This article has stated the truth about what Islam teaches about apostasy. It has said things that you will never hear about from moderate Muslims. Many inquiring souls in the West venture into Islam. Such people naively think that there is no harm in trying it out to see whether or not it is a religion that suits them. They presume it’s easy in and easy out. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Islamists are very deceptive about the matter. They claim that there is freedom of religion in Islam. When you press them on the issue they say that people are free to join Islam or not. But, do people have the same freedom to leave Islam, if they later discovered that this is not what they wanted ? The answer is clear ; people have the right to either reject or accept Islam when it’s initially presented but it is practically impossible to get out of Islam without putting one’s own life at risks.
Falling for the Muslim activists’ deceptively persuasive sales pitches to experiment with Islam by becoming a Muslim can be disastrous. Two similarly pronounced Arabic words explain it all. In Arabic it is said that the right to accept Islam is Makfoula, (meaning : guaranteed.) The “K” in that word is pronounced exactly like the English “K” from the tongue and frontal area of the mouth. There is another word, Makkfoula, that is used for those who want to exit Islam. It means denial to do so. The double “KK” is pronounced in Arabic from the throat. That word is closely akin to the Arabic word used for closing a door shut. That is precisely what happens to anyone who is either born a Muslim or naively converts to become one and then attempts to leave the faith. The door is closed and locked behind them, so that they cannot leave without being indicted for the crime of apostasy.
There is no easy in and easy out policy with Islam. Let all beware. It’s like a steel trap ; once you’re in, there is no getting out.
More of the same:
‘Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him’ Hadith – Sahih Al-Bukhari (9:57)
The Quran is contradictory on the fate of those who deny the truth of Islam.
Fourteen passages refer to apostasy and, of these, seven refer to punishment, generally to be given in the next life.
Sura 40 says that those who reject the scriptures will have iron collars and chains placed around their necks, be dragged into scalding water and burnt in the fire. Elsewhere the Quran seems to indicate a degree of tolerance. Verse 2.256 states: “There is no compulsion in religion.” Two further suras, 10 and 18, include passages indicating that people who do not wish to believe should not be forced to.
But the Hadith, or sayings of the Prophet, condemns unequivocally those who renounce their religion. One passage advises the death penalty for murder, adultery and apostasy. Another cites Muhammad as saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.”
According to Mufti Abdul Barkatullah, senior imam at North Finchley Mosque, North London, Islam simply took over biblical tradition and practice in this regard. Jesus promised in John XIV:6 – “No one comes to the Father except by me.” Several other passages in the New Testament condemn non-Christians to eternal punishment. Mufti Barkatullah cited the Inquisition as an example of Christian intolerance.
Muslim scholars are divided over how the texts on apostasy should be interpreted. Mufti Barkatullah said that some countries would follow the Shafi’i school of thought and eschew the death penalty for apostasy. But many, such as Afghanistan, adhere to the Hanafi tradition, and take a strict line on apostasy.
You may already know about this one: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. [al-Ma'idah 5:51.11]
But did you know that there are 123 verses in the Quran concerning fighting and killing for the cause of Allah? Here are but a few passages:
-Muslims are encouraged to be wholly occupied (Sura 2:273) with fighting for Allah’s cause.
- Allah will give “a far richer recompense to those who fight for him” (Sura 4:96).
- Regarding infidels (unbelievers), they are the Muslim’s “inveterate enemies” (Sura 4:101). Muslims are to “arrest them, besiege them and lie in ambush everywhere” (Sura 9:5) for them. They are to “seize them and put them to death wherever you find them, kill them wherever you find them, seek out the enemies of Islam relentlessly” (Sura 4:90). “Fight them until Islam reigns supreme” (Sura 2:193). “Cut off their heads, and cut off the tips of their fingers” (Sura 8:12).
- If a Muslim does not go to war, Allah will kill him (Sura 9:39). He is to be told, “the heat of war is fierce, but more fierce is the heat of Hell-fire” (Sura 9:81).
- A Muslim must “fight for the cause of Allah with the devotion due to him” (Sura 22:78)
- Muslims must make war on the infidels (unbelievers) who live around them (Sura 9:123).
- Muslims are to be “ruthless to unbelievers” (Sura 48:29).
- A Muslim should “enjoy the good things” he has gained by fighting (Sura 8:69).
- A Muslim can kill any person he wishes if it be a “just cause” (Sura 6:152).
- Allah loves those who “fight for his cause” (Sura 61:3).
Anyone who fights against Allah or renounces Islam in favor of another religion shall be “put to death or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off alternative sides” (Sura 5:34).
- Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him. Sahih Al-Bukhari (9:57)
- Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush. (Quran 9:5)
- Take him and fetter him and expose him to hell fire. (Quran 69:30-37)
- I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them. (Quran 8:12)
- They should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides. (Quran 5:33)
- Know that paradise is under the shades of swords. Sahih al-Bukhari Vol 4 p55
All of these views, if firmly held, would tend to sabotage anyone’s ability to investigate the Quran’s distinctive take on violence.
There is another obstacle, and that is Western culture’s own sense of guilt and suspicion of what it regards as Christian hypocrisy.
Any attempt to critique some of Islam’s teachings is likely to be met with loud and vociferous denunciations of the church’s moral failings, such as its appalling track record of anti-Semitism. And did I mention the crusades?
Finally, the reality is that Muslims adhere to widely varying beliefs and practices. Most people are understandably afraid to come to their own conclusions about violent passages in the Quran, lest they find themselves demonizing Muslims.

Leave and We’ll Kill You: Islam and Apostates in America/Phyllis Chesler
Many battered women stay with their batterers because they have been warned that if they ever leave, turn to the police, or “tell” anyone what is really going on, their batterer will then be justified in killing them.
Cult members are routinely warned that if they break free and “tell” anyone about abusive cult practices, not only will they be shunned, stalked, and punished, but their relatives, including children, who are still prisoners of the cult, or true believers, will be punished too.
By now, many Westerners may believe this is true about batterers and about cults; but they will not believe that it is also true about fundamentalist Islam. Trained in favor of religious tolerance, concerned that if one religion is restricted that all religions might be; genuinely uninformed about non-western religions such as Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism, etc., they assume that all religions are alike in terms of their virtues and that sinners of every religious persuasion exist despite—not because of–their religion.
When it comes to Islam such views may be wrong.

Here we go again: yet more evidence that statements about Islamic doctrine like these from Muslims in the U.S. do not reflect Islamic doctrine as it is actually understood in Sharia states. So are al-Marayati, Bassiouni, Eteraz and all the others who say such things actually reformers? Unlikely, given the fact that they do not challenge actions like this latest in the Islamic Republic. Their statements are less likely to be declarations of a reformist impulse than deceptions designed to lull Western non-Muslims into thinking that there is no problem here worthy of attention from human rights activists and organizations or anyone else.
“Rev. Lorenz is then quoted in a local television station report saying that if a Muslim leaves his religion and does not return to Islam in a couple of days, then he must be killed. He claims that someone showed him the verse. There is no such verse, Rev. Lorenz. In every faith, apostasy is shunned but ultimate judgment is left to God, not people.” — Salam al-Marayati
“A Muslim’s conversion to Christianity is not a crime punishable by death under Islamic law.” — M. Cherif Bassiouni
“It becomes really difficult, in light of this information, to persuasively argue that Islamic Law should permit a death penalty for apostasy.” – Ali Eteraz
Unfortunately for the apostates, the facts are otherwise.
Muhammad, the prophet of Islam and supreme example of conduct for the Muslim (cf. Qur’an 33:21), said: “Whoever changes his Islamic religion, then kill him.” (Bukhari 9.84.57)
The Tafsir al-Qurtubi, a classic and thoroughly mainstream exegesis of the Qur’an, says this about Qur’an 2:217: “Scholars disagree about whether or not apostates are asked to repent. One group say that they are asked to repent and, if they do not, they are killed. Some say they are given an hour and others a month. Others say that they are asked to repent three times, and that is the view of Malik. Al-Hasan said they are asked a hundred times. It is also said that they are killed without being asked to repent.”
All the schools of Islamic jurisprudence teach that a sane adult male who leaves Islam must be killed. They have some disagreements about what must he done with other types of people who leave Islam, but they have no disagreement on that.
“Iran: regime hits out at apostasy — 70 arrested,” by Elizabeth Kendal for Assist News Service, January 13:
Death to Apostates: Not a Perversion of Islam, but Islam
The case of Said Musa shows why we cannot graft democracy onto Islamic societies.
The constitution that the State Department bragged about helping the new Afghan “democracy” draft established Islam as the state religion and installed sharia as a principal source of law. That constitution therefore fully supports the state killing of apostates. Case closed.
The purpose of real democracy, meaning Western republican democracy, is to promote individual liberty, the engine of human prosperity. No nation that establishes a state religion, installs its totalitarian legal code, and hence denies its citizens freedom of conscience, can ever be a democracy — no matter how many “free” elections it holds. Afghanistan is not a democracy. It is an Islamic sharia state. (Andrew McCarthy)

Stay sharp – watch this manipulation: (tiqiyya)
“According to Mufti Abdul Barkatullah, senior imam at North Finchley Mosque, North London, Islam simply took over biblical tradition and practice in this regard. Jesus promised in John XIV:6 – “No one comes to the Father except by me.” Several other passages in the New Testament condemn non-Christians to eternal punishment.”
NOTE1: First, Mohammed got his instructions from Allah, not the Christians. Second, Jesus never advised or practiced execution for not following him. He loved those who rejected or accepted him equally.
” Mufti Barkatullah cited the Inquisition as an example of Christian intolerance.” NOTE2 Inquisition type behavior was not approved by Jesus. Jesus taught to love everybody, even enemies. The inquisition only proves how perverse man’s heart is, and Islam is proof of that – look at the example of it’s founder.

is good to kill someone who leave Islam to another religious?what ai the reward for the person who kill him or she,is what God said?
Deception? Well then since we’re shinning the light of truth into the dark corners of religion why not mention the Talmud ansd all it’s niceities or he fact the Old Testiment promotes usery by Jews to all non Jews but not to other Jews.
So you don’t like what Islamists’ believe? I don’t either nor do I like the way they treat women but that doesn’t give me or you the right to undermine their beliefs and system.
i want to change my religon i m muslim plz hellp me
johnebgood, ancient judaism may not stack up to what you think a modern society should be, but it was a different time. after reading the Bible dozens of times with a critical eye, I think that the Old Testament Law, if followed exactly, would have created a very well working society. Usually, people’s problems with various laws comes from the fact that they are not entering into the time and place, to think about what it would actually be like to live then.
It seems very strange that you denounce the Bible’s allowance of loans at interest for non-Jews. As far as I know, loans at interest (you can call this usury if you want…credit cards usually are usury, no exaggeration there!) are the norm for all pleoples, everywhere. The only really remarkable thing about the OT commands was that the fellow-jews were exempt. To a “brother,” you were to loan without interest.
Seems commendable, not deplorable, to me. We should have more of that!
A religion is a belief system, just like platonism or Nazism. It’s not out of the reach of critical inquiry. As Jesus said, “you shall know them by their fruit.” So, it’s not unreasonable to look at a religion and ask whether its fruit demonstrates that it is a good religion, or a force for evil in the world.
When a religion allows, adherents to lie, then commands them to kill in the name of prosteletization, then forbids them ever convert on pain of death, we must ask, “Is this the sort of religion which is good for the world? Is this the sort of religion that a God of love and justice would create?”
There are few more important questions than these in our century.
Ok..read the lengthy description about the laws of apostasy in Islam and explanations and interpretations about it which all end up in “Kill whoever changes his or her religion from Islam to any other”. Yeah..indeed a great article.
The writer of the article, and those people who had put comments over here – please watch this Youtube video – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MH-9eSw4IhA&feature=related
I agree that there are several laws in Islam which say “Muslims must make war on the infidels (unbelievers) who live around them” and several more..As person who understands Islam and Quran can easily say that its quoted out of the context. You should understand the context in Quran upon which this verse has been revealed.
See its really easy to start commending on Quranic verses by just reading its word meanings..but trust if you understand the context of those verses you will be satisfied for sure..but please..do not try to understand Islam by reading “e-articles” from internet..this is mainly because I had found 99% of the “e-articles” providing confusing as well as fake messages..instead read Quran translation of Abul Aala Moudoodi or Yusuf Ali.
To understand the beauty of Islamic rules and teachings we should start from the very first Islamic rule instated by Prophet Muhammed. Do you know there were numerous non-muslims co-existed happily with the muslims during those time?
Do you know there was a written constitution (in fact one of the earliest written constitutions of the world) which gave equal rights to muslims and non-muslims in place during those time itself?
In order to avoid any unwanted attacks to non-muslims houses Islamic governemt appointed soldiers to guard non-muslim houses and territories. Do you know that?
If we read the Islamic administration that happened during the reign of Prophet Muhammed, Abu Backer Sidheeq, Umar bin Khatab and their descentends, I bet you cant complete those without feeling goosebumbs while we read their sincerity, dedication to the public, utmost simplicity, commanding power and you name it..thats why during the formation of 1st independent Indian government Jawahar Lal Nehru stated “I am dreaming of bringing Umar bin Khatab’s administration here in India to make India a peaceful place”
This is a true story..during the regn of second khalifa of Islamic empire, the immense growth and power of Islamic empire attracted attention all over the world. At one point after the Prophet’s death, the Islamic Empire stretched from Jerusalem to as far as the borders of China, the shores of the Iberian Peninsula and down to Egypt. So to meet the Khalifa and study the Islamic rule one team from Rome visited mecca. During their way to meet the Khalifa, in order to find out the palace of him, they stopped by a man who was taking a nap under a date palm tree infront of his house (which was built of palm leaves) to show them the way to emperor’s palace. They introduced them as the team from Rome and asked him the way to the palace. He answered “I am the person whom you are looking for”. Could you believe it?? Its true..
Frankly speaking I was not in to religious matters at all till recently. It is when I started reading Quran,Islamic history and life of Prophet and his companions I got attracted to it..
Believe me or NOT..its that illeterate person from Arabia (prophet Muhammed) converted a huge community of thugs and hooligans in to world famous administrators and after all then much respected community as a whole.
If you are judging the rule that are happening in the so-call Islamic countries around the world at present..I am sincerely sorry to say that there is not even a single country in the world which is being governed in Islamic way to the fullest..all are just namesake Islamic countries.
I tried adding one comment but seems the site is NOT accepting!!
Islam is the best religion why you say that ??
