Do you know there was a written constitution (in fact one of the earliest written constitutions of the world) which gave equal rights to muslims and non-muslims in place during those time itself?

In order to avoid any unwanted attacks to non-muslims houses Islamic governemt appointed soldiers to guard non-muslim houses and territories. Do you know that?

If we read the Islamic administration that happened during the reign of Prophet Muhammed, Abu Backer Sidheeq, Umar bin Khatab and their descentends, I bet you cant complete those without feeling goosebumbs while we read their sincerity, dedication to the public, utmost simplicity, commanding power and you name it..thats why during the formation of 1st independent Indian government Jawahar Lal Nehru stated “I am dreaming of bringing Umar bin Khatab’s administration here in India to make India a peaceful place”

This is a true story..during the regn of second khalifa of Islamic empire, the immense growth and power of Islamic empire attracted attention all over the world. At one point after the Prophet’s death, the Islamic Empire stretched from Jerusalem to as far as the borders of China, the shores of the Iberian Peninsula and down to Egypt. So to meet the Khalifa and study the Islamic rule one team from Rome visited mecca. During their way to meet the Khalifa, in order to find out the palace of him, they stopped by a man who was taking a nap under a date palm tree infront of his house (which was built of palm leaves) to show them the way to emperor’s palace. They introduced them as the team from Rome and asked him the way to the palace. He answered “I am the person whom you are looking for”. Could you believe it?? Its true..
Frankly speaking I was not in to religious matters at all till recently. It is when I started reading Quran,Islamic history and life of Prophet and his companions I got attracted to it..

Believe me or NOT..its that illeterate person from Arabia (prophet Muhammed) converted a huge community of thugs and hooligans in to world famous administrators and after all then much respected community as a whole.
If you are judging the rule that are happening in the so-call Islamic countries around the world at present..I am sincerely sorry to say that there is not even a single country in the world which is being governed in Islamic way to the fullest..all are just namesake Islamic countries.

It seems very strange that you denounce the Bible’s allowance of loans at interest for non-Jews. As far as I know, loans at interest (you can call this usury if you want…credit cards usually are usury, no exaggeration there!) are the norm for all pleoples, everywhere. The only really remarkable thing about the OT commands was that the fellow-jews were exempt. To a “brother,” you were to loan without interest.

Seems commendable, not deplorable, to me. We should have more of that!

A religion is a belief system, just like platonism or Nazism. It’s not out of the reach of critical inquiry. As Jesus said, “you shall know them by their fruit.” So, it’s not unreasonable to look at a religion and ask whether its fruit demonstrates that it is a good religion, or a force for evil in the world.

When a religion allows, adherents to lie, then commands them to kill in the name of prosteletization, then forbids them ever convert on pain of death, we must ask, “Is this the sort of religion which is good for the world? Is this the sort of religion that a God of love and justice would create?”

There are few more important questions than these in our century.

So you don’t like what Islamists’ believe? I don’t either nor do I like the way they treat women but that doesn’t give me or you the right to undermine their beliefs and system.
