Turkeys warn Pope: “religious authorities are not to incite resentment and hatred”

Hypocrisy, thy name is Islam. For 1400 years, Islamic clerics, Islamic authorities have been inciting resentment and hatred against unbelievers. But when the pope reminds Turkey about their bestialic  genocide of the Armenians, Greeks,  Assyrians and other minorities,  the whole ummah goes apeshit.

TURKEY recalls ambassador to the Vatican after heads explode over Pope’s remarks about the Armenian Genocide of Christians by Ottoman Muslims

Barenaked Islam

Turkish foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, dismissed Francis’ comments as baseless. “It is not possible to accept the pope’s statement, which is far from any legal or historical reality,” he wrote. “Religious authorities are not the places to incite resentment and hatred with baseless allegations.”

In that case we should start with the mosques, Mr Cavusoglu. Perhaps we should hang all the Islamic clerics, because they do little else.

Al Jizz covers Wilders & Europe’s “far right”

If the vid doesn’t play click on the link at AJ

European “far-right parties” have managed to appeal to the electorate with anti-Islam and anti-immigration rhetoric. That led them to make significant gains.

However, many of those parties are changing their political agendas with the aim of being like other parties.

What’s behind this shift? And was the danger of the far right exaggerated in the first place?

Gunther Grass saw Nazis everywhere but in the mirror

Was gesagt werden muss:

Grass was a Nobel-price recipient of Literature and  a darling of the looney left. In reality, he was never more than a literary lightweight. Encouraged by leftist accolades, he was trying desperately to present himself as a deep thinker. Grass failed. He produced only manure.

This morally defunct blech-trommler against Israel  had a soft spot for the religious terror state of Iran. He had the hide to call the German Bundeswehr a “mercenary army”. That notwithstanding, there is now a great display of  mourning. For President Joachim Gauck, Grass’ was some kind of  “idiosyncratic political spirit.” SPD leader Sigmar Gabriel tells us that Germany had lost “one of the fighters for democracy and peace.” Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier (SPD) said he was “deeply shocked” and called Grass a “great citizen and native of the town of Lübeck”.

Gunter Grass and the Left’s Red Flags

A few days after September 11 I saw a quote from Gunter Grass on a Manhattan lamppost. In those dark days, the lampposts and walls that weren’t covered in missing persons posters were decorated with the hysterical pamphleteering of the left urging us to blame ourselves for the attacks. The quote has long since been lost to memory, buried under smoke and ash, a green parrot perched on an empty staircase and crowds thronging on foot across the bridge.

The quote itself, like the latest Grassian screed, does not matter. Grass, like Gandhi and King, was one of the favorite go-to guys for the left’s sticky sheets of paper. When you want to write a suicide note, then you reach for a line from Sylvia Plath or Emily Dickinson, but when you want to write a national or civilizational suicide note, there’s always Gunter Grass.

As a writer, Gunter Grass is a blacksmith, hammering together graceless and shapeless lumps that aren’t good for much except hitting people over the head with leaden angst and guilt.

Being a bad artist or writer, a shameless egotist who hammers his own pedestal and waits for the adoring crowds to gather, does not make one a Nazi, though Gunter had been a Nazi. But it doesn’t help either. Neither does the  resentment over the war poorly fitted into a pacifist t-shirt which hangs over the paunches of the German and Japanese left. That adds a vindictive tone to their denunciation of American, British and Israeli warmongering.

Grass, like so much of the German left, saw Nazis everywhere but in the mirror. The only lesson that he and his comrades had drawn is that they were wrong to march right, when they should have marched left. It did not occur to them that they should not have been marching at all and that the marching under red banners was the whole problem to begin with.

8000 in just three days: the invasion of Europe

The camp of the saints

Andrew Bolt

The numbers of illegal immigrants from Africa are astonishing – and dangerously destabilising. The deaths are horrific, and another reminder of the cost of Labor-style border policies:

About 400 migrants died in an attempt to reach Italy from Libya when their boat capsized, survivors said on Tuesday… Before this incident there had already been more than 500 deaths of migrants crossing the Mediterranean from Africa this year…

On Monday, 2851 migrants were saved in rescue operations in the Mediterranean, the Italian coastguard said, adding to at least nine who died and 5629 who were saved over the weekend.

More than 8000 illegal African immigrants in just three days? A huge mass-movement of peoples – mostly Muslim – is underway, and Europe will be changed profoundly.

Is a Victorian councillor who loves bacon guilty of hate crime?

Christine Sindt, Victorian councillor, denies posts linking Islam to Nazism target Muslims

Note the ABC spin: “violent clashes later broke out”. Hell no: leftist loons attacked peaceful protesters, who tried to defend themselves against the attackers. (SY)

A Victorian councillor who has shared a string of anti-Islamic posts on social media, including one likening Islam to Nazism, says she will not be removing them despite protests from the community.

Over the past month, Latrobe City Councillor Christine Sindt has used her official council profile to distribute posts such as “Islam is not for me” and another calling on Australians to “pick a side”.

On Easter Sunday, she posted an image of herself at the Reclaim Australia march in Melbourne, holding a poster which says “I love bacon, not paedophilia”.

In an ABC radio interview last month she said she viewed radical extremists and the broader Islamic community as “pretty much the same”.

Her views and the series of posts sparked heated debate on her Facebook page as well as in the local Gippsland community.

A handful of locals who say the posts are offensive and want them pulled down protested outside Latrobe city council’s Morwell offices on Monday, holding signs that said “love not hate”.

Bloody deceivers. Coming from Muslims and leftist rabble rousers this is adding insult to injury. (SY)

The organiser of the rally, David Hollis, said the protest sent a message to the council that residents were outraged by Cr Sindt’s behaviour.

Why doesn’t the ABC tell us more about this ‘rally?’ (SY)

“[She’s] got the legitimacy of authority and it encourages her supporters to target minority groups that really have never been an issue in the Latrobe Valley,” he said.

“Have never been…?” Really?

Mr Hollis said Muslim people should feel welcome in the Latrobe Valley, not targeted.

Now that’s what I call a hate crime. Mr Hollis is siding with Muslim savages against the people of Australia.

“We’re here to show solidarity because we don’t agree with what she’s saying,” he said.

You are free to do that, mate. But we’ll remember your treason.

Mayor’s request for removal of posts goes unanswered

The Latrobe City Mayor Dale Hartiman said Cr Sindt had been asked to remove the posts.

The mayor raised the issue with the state Local Government Minister, who said it was up to the council to decide if Cr Sindt had breached the code of conduct.

Cr Sindt told ABC Gippsland her posts reflect her own personal views and were not targeted at Muslims

“There are no anti-Islamist comments on my Facebook page,” she said.

“Any anti-Islamic comments on my Facebook page have been made by different people.”

In one post, Cr Sindt appeared to suggest the Lindt cafe in Sydney was targeted because it was not Halal certified.

“Those posts are all factual,” she said.

Cr Sindt said she was encouraging open debate on her Facebook page and said the posts reflected her concerns about the “potential loss of the Australian way of life”.

Leftoids hate us for that.

About 30 per cent of the Latrobe City’s population was born overseas or had overseas-born parents, according to the local mayor.

Who turned the ABC into a propaganda tool for the halal racket?

The halal racket is a fever swamp. The sooner it is drained the better. But for the taxpayer funded ABC stooges muselmanic subversives can do no wrong.

ABC didn’t check the halal certification closely enough

Andrew Bolt

Interesting background from the ABC’s Fact Check about a halal certification process which should actually be done here by the Federal Government, as the Indonesian Government will now do in Indonesia:

Fact check: Does halal certification fund terrorism?…

Few food manufacturers who sell halal-certified foods in Australia or for export, or the organisations that certify them, were willing to tell Fact Check how much they pay, or are paid, for certification…

The Byron Bay Cookie Company said its annual halal certification fee was around $1,500 a year…

Hasan Tanrikut, a halal supervisor from the Global Halal Trade Centre Pty Ltd told Fact Check that certifications of abattoirs for example, which are done four times a year, cost approximately $2,000 to $3,000 per audit. He said halal certification of meat was charged at 25 cents per carton exported…

Halal certification recognition is controlled in Indonesia by the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI – The Indonesian Council of Ulama)… Only six of the AGAHP organisations in Australia are approved by MUI to certify Australian exports going to Indonesia.

In late 2014, the Indonesian government introduced new legislation …  with the Government taking responsibility for administering the halal product guarantee via a new agency, which then submits its results to the MUI…

For Australian food exported to Saudi Arabia, the Muslim World League, based in Saudi Arabia, is responsible for deciding which companies are permitted to certify halal food for their market.

Amjad Mehboob from the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils Inc (AFIC), now known as Muslims Australia, one of six Australian organisations authorised to certify halal food for the Saudi Arabian market, said AFIC … does not pay a fee to the Muslim World League for this recognition.

Saad Al-Shumaimry, director of the Muslim World League for Australia and New Zealand told Fact Check that his organisation did not charge local certification companies fees for endorsing their halal certification status.

Gaafar Mohammed, a senior auditor and meat inspector with the Islamic Co-ordinating Council of Victoria (ICCV) told Fact Check the company did not pay any fees to overseas organisations for their certification recognition…

So where does the money go? (SY)

According to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission register, the Supreme Islamic Council of Halal Meat in Australia Inc (SICHMA) is a large charity with revenue over $1 million, but no financial reports are available on … how much comes from halal certification.

We want those financial reports. (SY)

The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils Inc (AFIC) … earned an income of $2.8 million in 2012, of which $647,722 came from halal certification fees, after expenses…

A spokesman for the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) – the government body that monitors money laundering and terrorism – told Fact Check that it had no information to indicate there are links to terrorism financing from halal certification fees…

Muslims use the hawala system. “No information” simply means they are not doing their job.

Muhammad Khan, CEO of Halal Australia, said profits did not go towards supporting any terrorist activities… Dr Kahn said Halal Australia donates some of its profits to Islamic schools and mosques as part of its broader community engagement program, which includes donations to children’s hospitals and the Cancer Council Australia…

A pittance at best, goes to children’s hospitals and the Cancer Council Australia… (SY)

“We are mindful of responsibility to the poor and destitute in the community… here as well as in overseas countries [and we donate] through the proper channels, for example Muslim Aid, Islamic Relief…,” he said…

“…mindful of responsibility to the poor and destitute in the community?” Absurd. We, the taxpayers of Australia, are doing that already. Its called Centrelink. (SY)

The Islamic Co-ordinating Council of Victoria (ICCV), a private company, claims to be “the major Islamic organisation responsible for the certification, monitoring, and supervision of Halal food exports from Australia”.

Gaafar Mohammed says ICCV is a community-based organisation that is partnered with 11 Australian mosques.

“We don’t fund the mosques, but we take care of their expenses, like electricity, water, things like that,” he said…

Muslims Australia (AFIC), the peak national body representing Islam and Muslims, … [in] its financial report for 2012 shows it donated $150,000, part of which funded an imam’s salary, and financially supported five Islamic colleges around Australia…

The verdict… While the proceeds of halal certification do fund Islamic organisations, Fact Check could find no evidence that this money has ever flowed to terrorist groups.

I’m not sure many Australians think their purchase of food should include donations to mosques.

And the ABC curiously failed to mention past controversies surrounding two of the charities named as receiving money collected through halal certification.

About Muslim Aid:

2008:  A SYDNEY charity that admitted channelling aid through an Islamic organisation banned in Australia for its alleged terror links was yesterday raided by the federal police…The police action was prompted by The Australian’s revelations this month about the charity’s connection to Interpal, a humanitarian network proscribed by Australia and the US.

About Islamic Relief:

2014Islamic Relief, a Birmingham-based charity that works in 44 countries, said an internal inquiry had not revealed any evidence to corroborate Israel’s claim that it should not be allowed to work in the West Bank because it had been collecting money for Hamas and its offices were run by terror operatives.

Other allegations against Islamic Relief are made here.

The charities may well be as completely innocent as they say, but the ABC should at least have mentioned the allegations and explained why it believed the denials.

An interview with Daniel Pipes

BOMBASTIC POLITICS? Ft. Daniel Pipes, President of the Middle East Forum

Thanks to Vlad Tepes

The comment below about this video from RT is nothing short of hyperbolic. The nagging interviewer should not be seen as representative of all Russian females. Pipes keeps a straight face and plays the good boy:

Opponents of the recent deal with Tehran have argued that it will inevitably lead to an Iran itching to unleash nuclear warfare on the world. And though it agreed, in principle, to the most intrusive inspections regime in history, the hawks in Washington seem unwilling to accept anything short of capitulation. How viable is the military option in the case of Iran, and is there a win-win scenario that would satisfy the hardliners on both sides of the negotiating table? Oksana is joined by Daniel Pipes, the President of the Middle East Forum, to examine these issues.  Published on Apr 12, 2015

The Halal Racket makes our taxpayer funded ABC educators work overtime

Backlash on halal a ‘threat to jobs, meat prices’
Defending Halal – and Jeopardising the West

Bill Muehlenberg

Imagine Western politicians in the 1930s and 40s saying we should ease up on criticising the Nazis, and not make things hard on our economy by not doing business with them. Imagine them saying that if we cut off trade with the Germans, it will harm our economy and cause job losses.

Hopefully if they did come up with such idiocy, everyone would have told them to get real and get their priorities right. Some things are just not worthwhile, and it is far better to suffer some financial loss than to compromise principles when it comes to evil empires.

halal 6In many respects Islam and its goals for global supremacy is not unlike the push by the Nazis and the Third Reich for global dominance. Both are evil ideologies which put no value on human life, and will do anything to see everyone come into submission.

So it is very discouraging indeed to hear rather clueless politicians who should know better telling us the Australian economy is far more important than creeping sharia and the possible funding of Islamic terrorism. Instead of standing up for Australia by standing against stealth jihad, this politician thinks it is just fine if we hop into bed with a political ideology which has sworn to wipe us out.

I refer to Senator Barnaby Joyce who incredibly has turned against some of his fellow Senators, such as Cory Bernardi and other Coalition MPs, such as George Christensen. While they are very rightly concerned about halal foods and products, about the extortion racket known as halal certification, and just where all the money is going, Joyce is complaining about possible job losses if we make a stink about halal.

Erdogan’s Turkey & the Denial of the Armenian Genocide

Re: Pope Francis Commemorates 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide- “the first of the 20th Century”

As usual, Jerry Gordon is on target, He understands that the Armenian genocide was a jihad. It was a sacralized form of mass extermination in which the victims were regarded as enemies of God for whom no death, no matter how obscene, can be inflicted upon them without regret or apology. that is part, but only part, of the message of the crucifixion of the eight Christian maidens victim of the Armenian genocide, who were stripped of all protective clothing, filmed or caused to be filmed by the Turks. Obviously, the Turks were initially not reluctant to publicize their terrible deed. Unlike ISIS, they later changed their minds, not out of regret but because they realized it was bad publicity The other message of the film is the proclamation of the impending victory of Islam over Christianity and the impending destruction of a Christian future, for indeed, it is the women who carry the future in their wombs. That short clip is one of the most painful scenes anyone could ever witness.

Erdogan genocide

Having been a lifelong student of both the history and theology implicit in the Holocaust, I often asked myself, as Jerry Gordon indicates, “Why did the Turks refuse to admit guilt the way the Germans did after WW II?” I first wrote about the Armenian genocide in The Cunning of History (1974) but I minimized the religious factor and was unable to answer that crucial question. It was only after reading Bat Ye’or’s books on dhimmitude and jihad, that I began to understood the Turkish refusal. Successive Turkish governments have refused because they regard the genocide of the Armenians as a jihad, a holy act commanded by Allah. Hence, in their religion, they committed no crime and they have nothing about which to feel guilty. From the Turkish point of view, some, if not all of the Armenian Christian had broken the dhimma, the pact of submission to which, according to Islam, every defeated people must submit in order to remain alive. The corollary of the dhimma is that if the conquering Muslims believe that those they have defeated have broken the dhimma, the Muslim community has no further reason to permit their survival. In the years leading up to the 1915 genocide some, but not all, Armenians sought to liberate themselves from Ottoman rule; other Armenians saw an alliance with neighboring Christian Russia as the path to liberation. In addition, the Turks were experiencing population pressure from Muslims forced to leave the Balkan Christian nations that had defeated the Ottoman Empire shortly before the start of the Great War. From the Turkish perspective, the Armenians deserved what they got. Moreover, it is highly unlikely that the Turks will ever state publicly their real reason for refusing to admit guilt is because they know what it would reveal about Islam. Instead, they deny that they committed genocide and say it was wartime and things happen.

The NER essay was first presented in L.A. in 2014 at the Annual Scholars Conference on the Holocaust and the Churches, an institution originally created in 1970 and meeting annually thereafter, by two Protestant theologians, the late Franklin Littell and Hubert Locke, who were students of Reinhold Niebuhr, a great theologian who had no illusions about National Socialism in the 1930s when too many Protestant leaders were isolationists.

Pope causing ‘racism’

Pope Francis is not a politician who can mouth phrases like “Islam is a religion of peace.” He knows what radical Muslims are doing to Christians in some Muslim lands. My guess is that the Pope, who is a very smart Jesuit, go to the   point where, unlike our president, he could not ignore the murder of Christians by Muslims. He had to speak the truth. Given his high and enduring office, he could do no other.
