Thousands protest in Syria at “Israeli crimes”

DAMASCUS (AFP) – Tens of thousands of Syrians and Palestinians have demonstrated in Damascus against what they termed “Israeli crimes” in carrying out work near the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.

Streaming in groups to Youssef al-Azmeh square in the centre of the Syrian capital Tuesday, students and civil servants rallied to chant their anger at the “aggression against al-Aqsa”, the third most holy site in Islam.

Muslim and Christian religious leaders addressed the crowd with appeals to “defend the holy places” in Jerusalem, which include Temple Mount, sacred to Jews.

* Christians?’ Could it be that they have to be good dhimmies and show their solidarity with the Muhammedans out of fear? Could it be that the chinless ophthalmologist organized the march to deflect away from his incompetence to blame the Jooozzz??

Israel is carrying out repair work to a ramp leading to the mosque compound.

Demonstrators, who burnt Israeli flags, waved pictures of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, shouting allegiance to him while banners proclaimed “We will not bend before Zionist and American plans.”

Syria’s official news agency said “hundreds of thousands of citizens … reaffirmed Syria’s support for the Palestinian people and their just cause until the liberation of their land and the creation of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Mossad, CIA & the evil Jooozzz hard at work …

From Kashmir to Darfur, from Mindanao to Chechnya, from Afghanistan to Iraq and from Nigeria to Sudan those evil Jooozzz are tarnishing the image of the Religion of Peace.

True story! Now they even started bombing Algeria, (again!)

What you say? There are no Jooozzz in Algeria? Really? What happend to them?

Algeria hit by bombings, six dead: agency

By Larbi Louafi and Zohra Bensemra
SI MUSTAFA, Algeria (Reuters) – Seven bombs went off almost simultaneously in Algeria on Tuesday, killing six people east of the capital Algiers in an elaborate assault by suspected Islamist rebels.

Residents said four of the attacks targeted police stations.

“I was woken by a huge blast. I thought it was an earthquake,” said Aaref Jumaa, a resident of Si Mustafa village close to Boumerdes town 50 km (30 miles) east of Algiers.

Jumaa, standing near the blast-pocked walls of Si Mustafa’s police station, said the bomb went off at 4:15 a.m. (0315 GMT) beside the building, which is directly across the street from his home.

Pools of blood lay in the gutter of the main road.

“From now on I will sleep with fear in my heart,” said a woman clearing debris from her kitchen.

Muslim worshippers stone their own buses
By REBECCA ANNA STOIL

Following the afternoon prayers at the Temple Mount a group of approximately 150 Muslim Israeli men and women threw rocks at the buses that had been sent to take them home.

A crowd chanted, “Allah is great,” while pelting the buses which were waiting near the Rockefeller Museum.

Police forces were accompanying the worshippers and said that no additional incident occurred during or after the prayer service.

Iran & the Mullah’s, Armageddon & the Jews

After 2000 years of wandering the world, the return of the Jews to Israel, their ancestral homeland, fulfills a biblical prophecy and proves Mohamed and the Koran wrong.
With thanks to Andrew Bolt:
Matthais Kuntzel explains why Iran is uniquely dangerous:

Five years ago, in December 2001, former Iranian president Hashemi Rafsanjani first boasted that “the use of even one nuclear bomb inside Israel will destroy everything,” whereas the damage to the Islamic world of a potential retaliatory nuclear attack could be limited: “It is not irrational to contemplate such an eventuality.” While the Islamic world could sacrifice hundreds of thousands of “martyrs” in an Israeli retaliatory strike without disappearing–so goes Rafsanjani’s argument–Israel would be history after the first bomb.

It is precisely this suicidal outlook that distinguishes the Iranian nuclear weapons program from those of all other countries and makes it uniquely dangerous. As long ago as 1980, Khomeini put it this way: “We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”

Anyone inclined to dismiss the significance of such statements might want to consider the proclamation made by Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who stands even higher in the Iranian hierarchy than Ahmadinejad. A few months ago, on November 16, 2006, Rahimian explained: “The Jew”–not the Zionist, note, but the Jew–“is the most obstinate enemy of the devout. And the main war will determine the destiny of mankind. . . . The reappearance of the Twelfth Imam will lead to a war between Israel and the Shia.” The country that has been the first to make Holocaust denial a principle of its foreign policy is likewise the first openly to threaten another U.N. member state with, not invasion or annexation, but annihilation.

How the US sent $12bn in cash to Iraq. And watched it vanish

Special flights brought in tonnes of banknotes which disappeared into the war zone

* The Guardian has often discredited itself for being a pro-Islamic forum and is well known as a soapbox for anything from anarchist to the most bizarre read-green fantasies.

But if there is the slightest bit of truth in this story here, then we should be afraid. Afraid of the incompetence and utter folly of our leaders, who are taking us to the abyss rather quickly:

dollarsariveiraq372ready.jpg

The US flew nearly $12bn in shrink-wrapped $100 bills into Iraq, then distributed the cash with no proper control over who was receiving it and how it was being spent.
The staggering scale of the biggest transfer of cash in the history of the Federal Reserve has been graphically laid bare by a US congressional committee.

In the year after the invasion of Iraq in 2003 nearly 281 million notes, weighing 363 tonnes, were sent from New York to Baghdad for disbursement to Iraqi ministries and US contractors. Using C-130 planes, the deliveries took place once or twice a month with the biggest of $2,401,600,000 on June 22 2004, six days before the handover.

Details of the shipments have emerged in a memorandum prepared for the meeting of the House committee on oversight and government reform which is examining Iraqi reconstruction. Its chairman, Henry Waxman, a fierce critic of the war, said the way the cash had been handled was mind-boggling. “The numbers are so large that it doesn’t seem possible that they’re true. Who in their right mind would send 363 tonnes of cash into a war zone?”

The memorandum details the casual manner in which the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority disbursed the money, which came from Iraqi oil sales, surplus funds from the UN oil-for-food programme and seized Iraqi assets.

“One CPA official described an environment awash in $100 bills,” the memorandum says. “One contractor received a $2m payment in a duffel bag stuffed with shrink-wrapped bundles of currency. Auditors discovered that the key to a vault was kept in an unsecured backpack.

“They also found that $774,300 in cash had been stolen from one division’s vault. Cash payments were made from the back of a pickup truck, and cash was stored in unguarded sacks in Iraqi ministry offices. One official was given $6.75m in cash, and was ordered to spend it in one week before the interim Iraqi government took control of Iraqi funds.”

The minutes from a May 2004 CPA meeting reveal “a single disbursement of $500m in security funding labelled merely ‘TBD’, meaning ‘to be determined’.”

The memorandum concludes: “Many of the funds appear to have been lost to corruption and waste … thousands of ‘ghost employees’ were receiving pay cheques from Iraqi ministries under the CPA’s control. Some of the funds could have enriched both criminals and insurgents fighting the United States.”

According to Stuart Bowen, the special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction, the $8.8bn funds to Iraqi ministries were disbursed “without assurance the monies were properly used or accounted for”. But, according to the memorandum, “he now believes that the lack of accountability and transparency extended to the entire $20bn expended by the CPA”.

To oversee the expenditure the CPA was supposed to appoint an independent certified public accounting firm. “Instead the CPA hired an obscure consulting firm called North Star Consultants Inc. The firm was so small that it reportedly operates out of a private home in San Diego.” Mr Bowen found that the company “did not perform a review of internal controls as required by the contract”.

However, evidence before the committee suggests that senior American officials were unconcerned about the situation because the billions were not US taxpayers’ money. Paul Bremer, the head of the CPA, reminded the committee that “the subject of today’s hearing is the CPA’s use and accounting for funds belonging to the Iraqi people held in the so-called Development Fund for Iraq. These are not appropriated American funds. They are Iraqi funds. I believe the CPA discharged its responsibilities to manage these Iraqi funds on behalf of the Iraqi people.”

Bremer’s financial adviser, retired Admiral David Oliver, is even more direct. The memorandum quotes an interview with the BBC World Service. Asked what had happened to the $8.8bn he replied: “I have no idea. I can’t tell you whether or not the money went to the right things or didn’t – nor do I actually think it’s important.”

Q: “But the fact is billions of dollars have disappeared without trace.”

Oliver: “Of their money. Billions of dollars of their money, yeah I understand. I’m saying what difference does it make?”

Mr Bremer, whose disbanding of the Iraqi armed forces and de-Ba’athification programme have been blamed as contributing to the present chaos, told the committee: “I acknowledge that I made mistakes and that with the benefit of hindsight, I would have made some decisions differently. Our top priority was to get the economy moving again. The first step was to get money into the hands of the Iraqi people as quickly as possible.”

Millions of civil service families had not received salaries or pensions for months and there was no effective banking system. “It was not a perfect solution,” he said. “Delay might well have exacerbated the nascent insurgency and thereby increased the danger to Americans.”

Terror Attack at US Base in Japan
Blast reported near U.S. base in Japan.

TOKYO – A U.S. Army official confirmed a small explosion outside an American base south of Tokyo, but there were no reports of injuries or damage. An explosion was heard near the base late Monday, and police suspected an attempted attack on the base, Kyodo News agency reported.

The blast was in the area of the U.S. Army’s Camp Zama, Kyodo said. The report did not say whether there were injuries or damage.

Police found parts of “launch pad” near the base, Kyodo said, and investigators suspected a “guerrilla attack.”

Egyptian MP: Nothing short of nuke will ‘work’ with Israel

satellite.jpg
A member of the Egyptian Parliament from President Hosni Mubarak’s ruling party said Monday that nothing short of a nuclear bomb would ‘work’ with Israel.

“That cursed Israel is trying to destroy al-Aksa mosque,” Mohamed el-Katatny of Mubarak’s National Democratic Party (NDP) told the Egyptian Parliament, adding “nothing will work with Israel except for a nuclear bomb that wipes it out of existence.”

The harsh statement was uttered during a heated discussion of Israel’s renovation of the Mughrabi walkway near the Temple Mount. Egyptian parliamentarians claimed that Israel was destroying the Al Aksa mosque.

During the session some parliament members urged a cancellation of all agreements with Israel saying the war between Egypt and Israel was continuing even though treaties were signed.

Israel and Egypt ended 30 years of war with an historic peace treaty in 1979 brokered by the United States between then Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat and Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

BS-reports from CNN & from CBC NEWS

Last night I watched on CNN how buses of Muhammedans descended on Herouxville in Canada like locusts, to do da’awa (‘call to Islam’) and to hand out Korans, and to present themselves as misunderstood victims of racism etc.

Update: Muslims, small town make up

Montreal women welcomed by rural community that banned public stonings, female circumcisions:

*

Really?

Or intimidated by multi-million dollar law-suits?Threatened by the head-choppers?

CNN presented it as if Herouxville was a township and a matter of a a few hicks who are not quite right in the head, otherwise why would anyone object to their wonderful new multiculti world? If anybody has a link please sent it in, I will put it up at once.

*

Okay, found it, its right here:

Muslim women visit Quebec town to address contentious code

*

Immigrant debate has ‘gone too far’: Charest

Charest wants to see Canada look like this: *

And the inevitable howler: Muslim groups to launch complaint over town’s immigrant code

Remember Herouxville? The town that doesn’t like public beheadings and stonings and wants to make sure that Immigrants know it? I have been chasing a link, but I couldn’t find anything yet except this BS- article here from CBC that tells us that:

‘Quebec towns reject Hérouxville immigrant code ‘

However, when you read through the article you find that exactly the opposite is the case, and that more towns in Canada follow Herouxville:

In Huntingdon, southwest of Montreal, municipal councillors adopted a resolution Tuesday night supporting multiculturalism, and called for the separation of religion and state.

Other towns in the Mauricie have already taken steps to support Hérouxville’s code.

Saint-Adelphe and Trois-Rives adopted resolutions Feb. 5 that demand the Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms be modified to restrict reasonable accommodation for religious groups.

St-Roch-de-Mékinac also endorsed a separate motion recognizing Hérouxville’s code.

And it makes sense:

Herouxville Wants Immigrants That Fit In With Its Citizens

Especially in light of this:

Welcome! Leave your customs at the door

Meanwhile, Muhammedans are looking forward to 2025, when they will make up 30% of the population: Canuckistan is well on the way!

Muslim child sex offender was awarded compensation because prison authorities failed to provide him with fresh halal meat.

Inmate compo win prompts law rethink

THE Queensland Government may change anti-discrimination laws after a Muslim child sex offender was awarded compensation because prison authorities failed to provide him with fresh halal meat.

Queensland’s Supreme Court upheld a ruling by the anti-discrimination tribunal to award $2000 in compensation to the prisoner for not meeting his religious dietary requirements.

The man claimed he was forced to survive on vegetables, nuts and fatty and salty meat because prison authorities would not provide him with fresh halal meat.

The court defined halal meat as as “meat which has been blessed and slaughtered by Muslim slaughtermen and prepared, cooked and stored in accordance with religious law.”

A corrective services spokesman said fresh halal meat was difficult to source in parts of the state and the offender, who was imprisoned for five years from 2000, was the first prisoner in the state’s history to request the product.

They said the prisoner had been given tinned halal meat but they now undertook to provide fresh meat where possible.

Corrective Services Minister Judy Spence fears the decision to compensate the inmate could set a dangerous precedent and is considering new legislation to protect against trivial claims.

She said in another case a transsexual prisoner was currently taking the department through the anti-discrimination tribunal for refusing to provide them with a preferred brand of hair product.

“We are not running hotels – we are running prisons and we should not be expected to provide room service,” Ms Spence said.

“I don’t think that when we introduced anti-discrimination legislation that we ever envisaged that prisoners would use it in this fashion.”

However, Queensland Council for Civil Liberties president Michael Cope accused Ms Spence of over-reacting and using the situation to score political points.

He said the verdict proved the Muslim inmate’s claim was not frivolous and argued there already were processes in place to ensure frivolous claims were nut successful.

“If prisoners make complaints … there is a whole process, a full hearing before the tribunal in which the minister can say `I’m not discriminating or if I am it’s because it’s an unreasonable burden,”‘ he said.

Mr Cope said authorities needed to respect inmates’ religious beliefs to help ensure their rehabilitation.

Just because you are in jail doesn’t mean people are entitled to discriminate against you, you don’t lose your human rights simply because you are in jail,” he said.

“Prisoners are far more likely to be rehabilitated if you treat them with basic respect of their religious beliefs than if you don’t.”

*This shyster in the service of the pedophile will have us believe that feeding this low-life criminal with fresh halal meat will cure him of his propensity to re-offend at the next chance. A nightmare. This is the kind of useful idiot that will help to get us all killed. The ‘human rights’ of the victim were never mentioned.

But Ms Spence said the prison authorities tried to accommodate the religious beliefs of prisoners where possible.

“Where it is reasonable we definitely try to meet the religious and dietary requirements of prisoners but sometimes they are not reasonable,” she said.
