Muslim Professor: Koran Gives Holy Land to the Jooozzzzz

Prof. Khaleel Mohammed, Assistant Professor at the Department of Religious Studies at San Diego State University, is the latest Moslem expert to say that the Quran – the holiest Moslem work – is actually Zionist.

Prof. Mohammed says that Muslim groups have frequently denounced him because “I am out of line with the geo-political movement towards fundamentalism. What your readers must understand is that fundamentalism is rapidly becoming mainstream. Moderation is not. A perfect example is in Akbar Ahmed’s “Islam Under Siege,” where he points out that the Taliban are no longer a fringe group in Pakistan; many Pakistanis are finding themselves drawn to their teachings. Right here in the US, I present a problem to those at mosques who use social pressure to coerce others into accepting their extremism.. Many Muslims stand against me for no other reason than I say that Israel has a right to exist… I in no way deny that Palestinians have rights. But this is generally not considered by those that criticize my position…”

Italy: Imam of Milan Demands Legalization of Polygamy

No, I’m not kidding.

Here it is, with thanks to Jihad Watch Deutschland:

*In German:

(Quelle: adnkronos 22. Januar 2007)

In English: Mohammed Baha’ al-Din Ghrewati, long time imam of Milan, demanded publicly upon the Italian government to recognize Polygamy, since legalization was the only way to save Muslims from the legal minefield they find themselves in. Souad Sabai, chairwomen of an advisory body for Muslim women did not receive the Imam’s demands favorably….
Souad Sbai

Rome, 22 Jan. (AKI) – Souad Sbai, a leading member of Italy’s government-appointed body on Muslim affairs, the Consulta, slammed on Monday a controversial appeal launched the previous day by a representative of Italy’s largest Islamic group to make polygamy legal. “I am worried and concerned about the plea made last night,” said Sbai of the call made to the government on state television by Mohamed Baha’ el-Din Ghrewati, a former imam in Milan with the Union of Islamic Communities in Italy (UCOII), to legalise a practice today banned in Italy so as to ensure, he said, that the rights of women living in polygamous families are protected.

“I am concerned that it is possible to make through a national broadcaster the apology of this practice as happened yesterday,” said Sbai, who also heads the national association representing Moroccan women in Italy.

Sbai also said she means to place polygamy at the top of the agenda of an upcoming meeting of the Consulta.

Earlier this month Italy’s main paper Corriere della Sera published a front page article in which a woman accused the leader of UCOII Hamza Piccardo of having married her as his second wife in a religious ceremony at a mosque in the northern city of Verona.

Though a Muslim religious ceremony would not be recognised in Italy without a civil wedding, Corriere’s report sparked a controversy as UCOII and other Muslim groups had publicly condemned poligamy.

‘Good Family, Good People, Good…….What?????

You have to read your way all the way down to find out that these good people are actually not Christians or Buddhists, they are, -you guessed it: The Usual Suspects:

Five arrested in Britain terror raids
David Byers and Agencies
January 24, 2007

From The Australian

FIVE men were arrested in Britain today in separate early morning raids in West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
Two men, aged 25 and 29, were held in Halifax “on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism”, police said. In a separate raid three others, two aged 24 and another aged 32, were arrested in Cheetham Hill and Longsight, Manchester.

Anti-terrorism officers from the Metropolitan Police supported by colleagues from the West Yorkshire force made the arrests in Halifax at around 6am. A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said the arrests were part of an “intelligence-led operation”.

The two men are currently in custody and were today being taken to a London police station where they were to be questioned by officers.

The spokeswoman added: “The men were arrested at separate houses in Halifax. Both premises, plus two others in the area, are currently being searched.

“As part of the same operation, officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command today began searching a flat in north London. This search continues.”

Police would not confirm the address where the Halifax arrests were made, but an officer from the operational support division of West Yorkshire Police was this morning at an address in the Pellon area of Halifax.

A neighbour, who lives six doors down from the property said three brothers lived there with their family.

He said: “They are a good family, they are decent people.”

Well, at least he didn’t say they’re ‘good Muslims’- not yet:

* Believe it or not, while I was doing this story the Australian took it off. So I  had to replace it with this one from the Times Online:

The Times January 24, 2007

Dawn raid on men ‘who helped terror suspect’
Russell Jenkins and Daniel McGrory
Five arrested ‘but no imminent threat’
Police seek to placate Muslims

In London senior officers are discussing whether Muslim leaders can be given access to the intelligence behind raids so that communities can be assured that operations are based on sound suspicions.

There is also discussion about whether some trusted leaders may be alerted to operations before they take place.

* Good Night Great Britain!

Ready For A Dose Of Reality?

Palestinian state won’t solve conflict, says Israeli ex-army chief

by Ron Bousso
HERZLIYA, Israel (AFP) – A two-state solution based on Israeli territorial concessions to the Palestinians will not lead to broader stability in the Middle East, former Israeli army chief of staff Moshe Yaalon has warned.

LGF-Charles sez: Only fools believe that the global jihad will lose steam if Palestinians achieve their unearned, unwanted statehood. In reality, the opposite is true.

“The resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — which I wish we could resolve and I cannot see it being solved in the near future — will not lead to stability in the Middle East,” he told an annual conference on Israeli national security in Herzliya, north of Tel Aviv Monday.

“International pressure on the state of Israel for territorial concessions will only strengthen the jihadi threat being led by Iran today and encourage them to continue to attack Israel and the West,” Yaalon said.

“The two-state paradigm as a solution to the conflict is irrelevant at this stage. The solution of the conflict will not solve the Islamic attack against the West.”

Don’t call me smart ass because I told you so:

Has anyone ever asked the question what the economic foundation of such a Palestinian state would be? The Jiziyah?

Is Jihad & hatred a business? It sure seems so. Just wondering why nobody spoke truth to power before…

But let’s give ’em a state anyway:

The Despicable Peanut Khadr:

Just when you thought this piece of ‘holier-than-thou’ PoS couldn’t possibly stoop any lower, he does it again:

ATHENS, Ga. – With the zeal of a Baptist Sunday School teacher, Jimmy Carter ended a conference on his presidency Sunday morning by telling Americans they should not fear and they should not hate.

On a weekend in which Carter celebrated the 30th anniversary of his inauguration and the 25th year since its abrupt conclusion, it was left to the former president to update his peace efforts in the Middle East to today’s world by talking about terrorism and about harsh feelings against people of other faiths.

“We are developing an ingrained hatred for people who aren’t Christians,” said Carter, a Sunday School teacher since he was 18 years old.

Unwarranted fear of terrorism is behind these feelings, he said.

“The distortion that we are about to be destroyed makes us suspicious of those who don’t worship the way we do,” he said. “And our country has no reason to be afraid.”

As if it was not bad enough already that he is obviously on the take: Peanut is an in-your-face agit-prop and a whore for petro-dollars:

Especially lucrative have been Carter’s ties to Saudi Arabia. Before his death in 2005, King Fahd was a longtime contributor to the Carter Center and on more than one occasion contributed million-dollar donations. In 1993 alone, the king presented Carter with a gift of $7.6 million. And the king was not the only Saudi royal to commit funds to Carter’s cause. As of 2005, the king’s high-living nephew, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, has donated at least $5 million to the Carter Center.

Meanwhile the Saudi Fund for Development, the kingdom’s leading loan organization, turns up repeatedly on the center’s list of supporters. Carter has also found moneyed allies in the Bin Laden family, and in 2000 he secured a promise from ten of Osama bin Laden’s brothers for a $1 million contribution to his center. To be sure, there is no evidence that the Bin Ladens maintain any contact with their terrorist relation. But applying Carter’s own standard, his extensive contacts with the Saudi elite must make his views on the Middle East suspect.

Lebanon: Jihad in Full Swing

Nasrallah and his Hezbollah-thugs want to topple the government. They are likely to succeed. For 2 months the Lebanese government has been under siege, beleaguered by thousands of loyal brainwashed Nasrallah-followers. Because Islam must dominate, at all cost. Never mind the economy. Never mind the thousands of businesses ruined. Never mind the disaster which will inevitably follow. Islam, Islam, Islam: Nothing but Islam:

But that is not how our news-services report it, they call it ‘strike’:

Terrorists open new front in Indonesia

Lindsay Murdoch in Jakarta
January 24, 2007

Sidney Jones … “this is a dangerous development”.

HIGH-RANKING figures in Jemaah Islamiah have opened a new front in their terrorism campaign on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, where nine of their fighters and a police officer have been killed in the latest gun battle.

Terrorism experts say dormant Java-based cells of the organisation seem to have been reactivated by US and Australian-trained anti-terrorist squad attacks on militant strongholds near the Sulawesi town of Poso, 1700 kilometres east of Jakarta.

They say the violence in Poso this month has caused a dangerous escalation of what radical Islamic militants see as their jihad or war against infidels.

Islamic Prejudice, Islamic Denial

With thanks to LGF:

Shamefully (and tellingly), the so-called “mainstream” Islamic organizations of Britain have responded to the Channel 4 documentary Undercover Mosque by attacking critics and denying the very obvious problems: Islamic Prejudice, Islamic Denial.

Unfortunately this important story was all but killed by the awful beat-up of the ‘Big Brother-Racism controversy’- where the MSM eagerly jumped on the shallow and trivial pursuit of nothingness over their duty to inform and to warn. We covered this story here: England: Obsessed with BS?
For last week’s “Dispatches” program on Britain’s Channel Four, a reporter with a hidden camera entered Birmingham’s Green Lane mosque (which has won praise from Britain’s Muslim peer, Lord Ahmed) and other leading mosques in Britain. He found they preached Islamic supremacism, hatred of Jews and Christians, and the subjugation of women.

The mosques, of course, are in heavy damage-control mode. A press release at the Green Lane mosque website complains that “it is extremely disappointing but not at all surprising that ‘Dispatches’ has chosen to portray Muslims in the worst possible light. ‘Dispatches’ has opted for sensationalism over substance with total disregard for peaceful community relations.” And not only that: “This so-called ‘undercover’ investigation merely panders to age-old anti-Muslim prejudices by employing the time-honoured tradition of cherry picking statements and presenting them in the most inflammatory manner.”

The statement doesn’t address the obvious fact that it would be difficult, if not impossible, to cherry-pick statements anywhere near as hateful and inflammatory as those recorded in the Green Lane mosque from proceedings in any Jewish, Christian, Hindu, or Buddhist house of worship.

Among the statements recorded in the Green Lane mosque were these about women:

* “Allah has created the woman – even if she gets a Ph.D. – deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man.”

* “By the age of ten, it becomes an obligation on us to force her to wear hijab, and if she doesn’t wear hijab, we hit her.”

* “Men are in charge of women. Wherever he goes she should follow him, and she shouldn’t be allowed leave the house without his permission.”

Robert Spencer points out that the statements we hear in Undercover Mosque are not really “extreme” at all, but rooted deeply in traditional Islam. And the reactions from groups like MPACUK and the Muslim Council of Britain illustrate that they’re well aware of it.

Are People Waking Up?

The worst hatemongers from the ‘RoP’ are usually the first to call others ‘bigots, hypocrites, Islamophobes and haters’-, something which, coming from those who suck the hatred in with the mothers milk, is called projection. Accusing the accuser, deliberately confusing and deflecting away from the issues, lying and obscuring, this is all part and parcel of the strategy to spread the ‘RoP’ in the lands of the infidels. This is a strategy called ‘kitman & taqiyya’. Unfortunately the unholy alliance of the left-wing moonbats with the great unwashed masses from the Middle East protects the rights of those who came to conquer, to spread their poisonous ideology in the lands of the infidels. ‘All religions are the same,’ we are told, but are they really?

Some people seem to be waking up:

Critics interrupt speaker’s talk on Islam
One woman was ejected, another nearly arrested

By Jeff Hood
Lodi Bureau Chief
January 21, 2007 6:00 AM
STOCKTON – A talk on the basic tenets of Islam was repeatedly interrupted Saturday by a few anti-Muslim members of a crowd at the Cesar Chavez Central Library.

One woman was forced to leave early in the two-hour program after she accused guest speaker Tarek Mourad of lying, yelling that Islam’s holy book teaches Muslims to kill Jews and Christians and that Muslims are trying to take over the Western world.

Kurnatz & the ‘Human Rights’ Circus (Continued)

Background on this story here:

Pressure Mounts on German Foreign Minister in Guantanamo Hearings

By Ralf Beste, Petra Bornhöft, Horand Knaup and Holger Stark

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has come under fire following testimony by a Bremen resident who says he was tortured at Guantanamo Bay. The charges could deeply damage the reputation of a senior official in a government that prided itself on promoting human rights.

(The torture claims are straight from the Al Qaeda playbook, but I wonder whether the Dhimmie judges or prosecutors even bother to read up on it)

Here’s the link:

Former Guantanamo inmate Murat Kurnaz testified before a parliamentary committee last week.

Last week Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany’s foreign minister and acting president of the European Union Council, considered himself to be once again at the heart of world affairs. On Wednesday evening he hosted a private dinner for United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in a suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin. The two discussed, as Steinmeier proudly reported, “not just the small steps, but also the political horizon” for the peace process in the Middle East. On Thursday he then met with newly sworn-in Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer for a tête-à-tête aimed at getting the stalled European constitution back on track.
However, just as Steinmeier was trying play a part in shaping the future of the world, the past abruptly caught up with him — in particular, the question of whether as head of the chancellery under the former government of Gerhard Schröder, he bears responsibility for the fact that Murat Kurnaz — a Turkish citizen born and raised in Germany — sat for years in Guantanamo, when he could have returned home to his family in Bremen.
