 The Burqini and those who wear it are about as useless as a jukebox under water. Originally invented and paid for by the Howard government squandering taxpayer money, it was sold to Australia’s unsuspecting public as yet another all-inclusive-outreach PR stunt. The idea that muselmanic females can do the job of life savers is preposterous. There has never been a case where a burqini clad female saved an infidel and we never heard one of the Islamic clerics say that it is halal to do mouth-to-mouth resuscitation with an infidel.

Some refugees in Australia are sending welfare payments abroad as part of a multi-billion-dollar industry to help relatives in poor countries.

A report commissioned by the Immigration Department says that many recent arrivals from Africa fear losing social respect if they do not send cash home.

Using World Bank data, the report estimated that up to $6 billion flows out of Australia each year in payments to people overseas. It said that a survey of humanitarian arrivals showed that 70 per cent had sent money home.

In Australia, the Gillard Government knows the truth about its bungled refugee program. The people it’s bringing in are costing billions, with 85% of refugees on Centrelink benefits in their first five years here.

What to do about the intolerable outrage of do-gooder bureauweenies looting Australian taxpayers to provide free money for African villagers who will never even see Australia? Report author Graeme Hugo, a professor at Adelaide University, has an idea:

Prof Hugo said that … the Federal Government should consider making it easier for them to send money to relatives abroad.

“Anything that countries like Australia can do to facilitate that sending back of finances can potentially have good development impacts in theorigin country,” he said.

A SYDNEY man with ”demonstrated connections” to one of the world’s most dangerous terrorist preachers has been arrested by Sydney police over allegations he broke into a cash machine.

Milad bin Ahmad-Shah al-Ahmadzai was arrested after three other men were prevented from robbing a cash van at gunpoint in far western Sydney yesterday morning.

Ahmadzai, 21, is alleged by Australia’s domestic intelligence agency, ASIO, to have had contact with the Yemen-based al-Qaeda preacher, Anwar al-Awlaki.

Awlaki is of great concern to Western intelligence agencies due to his repeatedly demonstrated ability to radicalise via the internet young Muslim men in Western countries.

Awlaki is seen as such a threat that last year he was placed on a CIA ”catch or kill” list.

Last year, Ahmadzai was one of 23 Australian residents whom ASIO judged of such concern that it alerted US authorities to them. The US State Department subsequently added them to a domestic no-fly database, according to a leaked cable from the US embassy in Canberra.

But yesterday morning, Ahmadzai was in a different type of trouble, arrested by detectives from the New South Wales Police robbery squad at his home in Ermington in Sydney’s west.

He was arrested shortly after three other men, aged between 24 and 29, were found by detectives in a car park in Cecil Hills in Sydney’s outer suburbs.

The three men were in two stolen cars and police allege they found a rifle, two handguns and several balaclavas with them. An armoured cash van was also in the car park when the arrests occurred.

The three were taken to western Sydney police stations and charged with robbery and firearms offences.

After the arrests, police executed search warrants at Ahmadzai’s home and five other locations, seizing a Subaru WRX, a pistol, ammunition, Australian and US currency, a pill press, anabolic steroids, two-way radios, laptop computers, mobile phones and passports.

All four are due to face Sydney courts today.

UPDATE 11.16am: A NATIONAL day of protest demanding the burqa be banned has raised fears it could provoke Cronulla riot-style hysteria.

Which Cronullah ‘riots?’

 Once again: Cronulla was not about ‘race’- it was about Aussies being raped, molested and attacked over a long period of time. When Muslims ganged up and started beating up Aussie-life-savers, that was the straw that broke the camels back.

Almost 14,000 people have signed up for Monday’s “Ban the Burqa Day”, which urges protesters to wear a balaclava or mask.

But Islamic leaders labelled the event “racist.”

Islam is not a race. Its a violent ideology that masquerades as a religion.

Organiser Kye Keating, 20, instigated the protest with two friends via Facebook after Sydney woman Carnita Matthews used her burqa to quash a jail sentence for deliberately making a false statement to police.

“This event is not aimed at race, it is not aimed at religion,” Mr Keating said.

“It is just aimed at concealing your identity in a public place. If everyone is not allowed to do it, no one should be allowed to do it.”

But many have said they are disappointed with Mr Keating’s apparent lack of knowledge on the topic after he appeared on Nine’s TODAY this morning.

“I’m not the most educated on this subject, I just had an idea,” Mr Keating said on Nine.

Viewer Natasha Kastermans said: “It was great that this got heard on the TODAY show, but seriously you knew you were going to go on there and you had nothing constructive to say about it… FAIL.”

David Thatcher said the “Ban the Burqa Day” was absurd and irrational.

“The vast majority of Muslims, and groups that represent Muslims, support the police in verifying the identity of women who wear burkas (sic),” he said.

How would he know?

Mr Keating, a former hospitality student from Victoria looking for work, has been surprised by interest in the event.

Even an elderly nursing home resident will be among protesters going about with their faces covered.

“It’s not so much about adopting our culture and completely dropping your own,” Mr Keating said.

“It is just making those slight little changes that make it easier for you to become an Aussie.”

The furore comes after the Baillieu Government revealed this month it would investigate if there was a need in Victoria for laws, being adopted in other states, that empower police to force Muslim women wearing a full veil to reveal their faces.

Islamic Council of Victoria director Nazeem Hussain said that fewer than 3000 Muslim women who wore burqas in Australia had no problem taking the garment off for police, who have power to demand identification.

“This kind of mass demonstration, this mass show of intolerance is just that,” Mr Hussain said. “I would say it’s hysteria reminiscent of Cronulla.”

Muslim community spokesman Keysar Trad said women chose to wear the burqa for religious observance, not to hide their identity. “All I see beneath that call is bigotry and intolerance,” Mr Trad said.

Liberal backbencher Bernie Finn, who supports banning the burqa in some places for security reasons, said people were entitled to express concerns about the garment.

Racial violence flared in Sydney yesterday in apparent retaliation for earlier clashes in which a mob of 5,000 white youths chanted abuse and attacked people of Middle Eastern origin.

The real problem are Leb- & Paki Muslims:

The second night of violence brought terror to one of the city’s best known beaches. It flared when young men of mostly Lebanese background clashed with police, throwing stones and other missiles.

Witnesses reported several gun shots and one woman was said to have been stabbed.
Police reinforcements were drafted in as thugs attacked cars and shops with baseball bats and threatened to do battle with rival white gangs with guns and crowbars.

About 200 young Muslim men gathered outside one of the city’s largest mosques, some armed with pistols.

A white woman in a car was said to have been approached by some men and told: “We are going to rape you, you Aussie slut.” It was claimed that a shot was fired at the vehicle.

The cycle of violence tarnished Australia’s reputation – often promoted by the government – as a bastion of tolerance and racial integration.
Anti-Muslim feeling has been exacerbated by the Bali bombings, a series of gang rapes of white women by men of Pakistani and Lebanese background and last month’s counter-terrorism raids on alleged Islamic militants in Melbourne and Sydney. White youths also accuse Lebanese-Australian men of looking for trouble in beach areas, intimidating women in bikinis and picking fights.
The violence was concentrated on Cronulla, a southern suburb where rioting on Sunday led to more than 30 injuries and 16 arrests.
Cronulla, a staunchly Anglo-Celtic area, attracts thousands of trippers from the less salubrious western suburbs, a stronghold of the Middle Eastern and Muslim communities, which number 300,000 out of the national population of 20 million.
It has a reputation for resenting non-Anglo visitors. On Sunday thousands of white youths congregated on the beach front to protest against an incident last week in which two lifeguards – the epitome of white Australian culture – were beaten up by men of Lebanese origin. The lifeguards were attacked after asking a group to stop playing football because it was disturbing others.
Although peaceful at first, the demonstration was tinged with racism from the start – one man set up a barbecue offering “Free snags [sausages], no tabouli”. Another had scrawled on his chest “Mohammed was a camel-raping faggot”.
The crowd chanted “No more Lebs [Lebanese]” and sang Waltzing Matilda.
The atmosphere soon turned ugly, with police using pepper spray and batons to subdue rioters who pelted officers with bottles and smashed up patrol cars.
A Muslim woman had her head scarf torn off in what police described as a “cowardly” and “un-Australian” act.
White supremacist and neo-Nazi groups were among the crowd. “They have no place in mainstream Australian society,” the New South Wales police minister, Carl Scully, said. “Those characters are best placed in 1930s Berlin, not in Cronulla in 2005.”
John Howard, the prime minister, said: “Attacking people because of their race, their appearance, their ethnicity is totally unacceptable.” He added that he did “not accept that there is underlying racism in this country”.
Kuranda Seyit, of the Forum on Australian-Islamic Relations, disagreed. “There is racism running deeply in the Australian psyche. It’s been simmering for years.”

None of it, none at all, should be our concern. Either your accept our laws, integrate yourselves and become Australians, or get the hell out. Nobody asked you to come, the boats are available to take you back where the sharia makes life unbearable. Now, p*#s off!

Osama a ‘folk hero’ and ‘resistance fighter’ to some supporters in Sydney

FOR most of the world he was a symbol of death and evil — a mad man who was dedicated to killing innocents.

But, for some Muslims, dead arch-terrorist Osama bin Laden is a “folk hero” similar to Australia’s Ned Kelly.

Hardline Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir Australia’s spokesman, Uthman Badar, said the group rejected democracy, seeking to establish a trans-national Islamic caliphate state, and viewed bin Laden as a “resistance fighter” with huge sympathy among Muslims.

‘Fok hero’ … Osama Bin Laden.

“The type of figure Muslims see Osama bin Laden as is similar to Ned Kelly,” Mr Badar told The Sunday Telegraph.

“The person does things that would otherwise be viewed as crimes, but he is seen as a folk hero.

“Most Muslims accept him as someone who fought a resistance … the real terrorists are the Western governments. When we say the Western governments are terrorists we include the Australian Government in that.”

It was a view echoed at Auburn’s Bukhari House Islamic Bookstore, where Wassim Fayad, a volunteer working at the shop, all but praised the dead terrorist.

“For the sake of Allah, our brother died a martyr,” Mr Fayad said.

“He was a soldier of God. He did not fight for the sake of his government or for another human being.

“Quote me on this: if he died, he died a martyr and he is now in paradise.”

The Bukhari bookshop has drawn attention from authorities before, when it was recently revealed the radical Islamic cleric Sheik Feiz Mohammed — who has previously urged children to die for their religion — was conducting sermons for youths at the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah centre, which operates out of one of the bookshop’s back rooms.

“No comment regarding Osama bin Laden, but it is sad for anyone to die in the Muslim world,” a spokesman said.

 Sheikh Abdul Salam Mohammed Zoud has been accused of having links to terror suspects. He denies the claims.

In contrast to those supporting bin Laden, influential Sydney imam Abdul Salam Mohammed Zoud did not speak of bin Laden during his half-hour sermon at Belmore mosque at noon on Friday.

According to an independent translator, he told a congregation of 150 people — mainly men and children — to keep the faith alive at a time when enemies were trying to undermine Islam.

Many Muslims also revelled in the chance to publicly reject bin Laden. At a Lebanese bakery, Australian-born Ahmed Ajaj said of bin Laden: “Nowhere in Islam is what he did acceptable,” but he added his crimes “did not compare” to those of the US and UK.

For Sam Zaky, who came to Australia from Iraq two and a half years ago, the death of bin Laden was welcome news.

He knew first hand just what bin Laden stood for, having seen friends killed by al-Qaeda car bombs while they walked to university in Baghdad.

“I know many who were killed for nothing,” he said.

He said he was disturbed by the number of “ignorant” Australians who had come into the shop he works in and declared bin Laden their “hero.”

The first person charged under Australia’s terror laws, taxi driver Jack Thomas, said he was pleased the man he once met in the hills of Afghanistan was dead.

In March 2001, five months before the September 11 attacks on the US, Mr Thomas shook bin Laden’s hand. But the man dubbed “Jihad Jack” said he knew young and impressionable people in Australia who were being bred into extremism.

“No doubt there are angry young Muslim men in Australia that have been misled by Osama bin Laden,” he said.

I dare-say that there are hundred times more who see him as a great Muslim leader….. funny that the reporter never asked Jihad Jack in which way these  ”angry young Muslim men” (are there any other ones?) have been misled by OBL.

Australian billboards claim Jesus for Islam, but could you run a billboard proclaiming “Jesus Christ is Lord” in Saudi Arabia?

No, of course not. Nor could one post anything about Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, atheism, or agnosticism. Why? Because Saudi Arabia is not a free society. Why? Because they enforce Sharia. And Sharia forbids the propagation of non-Islamic faiths or the display of their symbols.

Christians in Sydney will have their core beliefs challenged by provocative advertisements due to appear on billboards and buses in the next month.

The ads, paid for by an Islamic group called MyPeace, will carry slogans such as ”Jesus: a prophet of Islam”, ”Holy Quran: the final testament” and ”Muhammad: mercy to mankind”.

In a free society we should be allowed to run ads that read “Muhammad was a mass-murdering serial rapist, a bandit and a slave trader.”

A phone number urges people to call to receive a free Koran and other Islamic literature.

The organiser of MyPeace, Diaa Mohamed, said the campaign was intended to educate non-Muslims about Islam. He said Jesus was a prophet of Islam, who was to come before Muhammad. ”The only difference is we say he was a prophet of God, and they say he is God,” Mr Mohamed said. ”Is it thought-provoking? Yes, it is. We want to raise awareness that Islam believes in Jesus Christ,” he said.

Mr Mohamed said he hoped the billboards would encourage Christians and Muslims to find common ground. They were not intended to downgrade the significance of Jesus. ”We embrace him and say that he was one of the mightiest prophets of God.”

No, it just downgrades Christians brutally and severely, so that they and other unbelievers “feel themselves subdued” as dhimmis.

And by the way, Islamic eschatology does teach that Jesus will come back. But before we “celebrate” that “common ground” in “interfaith dialogue,” it says he will come back to break all the crosses (Sahih Bukhari 3.43.656, among others), abolish the jizya arrangement that allowed non-believers to continue to exist, and “fight the people in the cause of Islam” (Sunan Abu Dawud 37.4310). And after Jesus kills, Jesus will die, and the Muslims will pray over his body (also 37.4310).

MyPeace plans to extend the campaign, funded by private donations, to television.

This is delightfully blunt, though of course, such sweeping historical revisionism is fundamental to Islam’s teachings:

The Anglican Bishop of South Sydney, Rob Forsyth, said it was ”complete nonsense” to say Jesus was a prophet of Islam. ”Jesus was not the prophet of a religion that came into being 600 years later.”

But the billboard was not offensive, he said. ”They’ve got a perfect right to say it, and I would defend their right to say it [but] … you couldn’t run a Christian billboard in Saudi Arabia.”

The bishop said he would pay for billboards to counter those of MyPeace if he could afford it, and ”maybe the atheists should run their billboards as well”.

A spokesman for the Australian Islamic Mission, Siddiq Buckley, said the campaign would increase awareness of the positive facts of Islam. ”I would be looking at this as a good opportunity to explain what we mean.”
