Hamas Taxi?

Update:

’Just call the Australians and they will come and get you‘–  TAXPAYERS fork out up to $1 million to rescue people smuggling boats that issue distress calls off Indonesia.Open borders–Andrew Bolt

We’re now picking up boat people almost within sight of the Indonesian coast – so why not just pick them up from the airport and spare the expense?

HMAS Taxi — Part 1.

HMAS Taxi gets another call

Hoaxed again:

THE navy has responded to a distress call from a second asylum-seeker boat in as many days.

The boat made three distress calls about 100 nautical miles north of Christmas Island on Tuesday night.

HMAS Childers arrived at the scene on Wednesday morning and boarded the vessel.

“Initial indications suggest there are 65 people on board,” the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) said…

Who the hell is in charge here, anyhow?

NAVY officers say they will disobey orders to force asylum seeker boats back to Indonesia.

(Some) Politicians finally hear the people say ‘enough’

The Australian/Melanie Phillips

At first blush, Julia Gillard’s volte-face over immigration would seem to be as unlikely as Osama bin Laden singing the Star Spangled Banner or Richard Dawkins taking holy orders.

Here is a politician with a solid pedigree on the ‘anti-racist’ Left rejecting former prime minister Kevin Rudd’s call for a ‘Big Australia’ formed by continuing large-scale immigration.

Instead, Gillard has said she understands the anxieties of folk in western Sydney, western Melbourne or the Gold Coast growth corridor in Queensland.

As for the boats of asylum-seekers, Gillard has made clear she wants to be even more effective in stopping them in order to protect ‘our sanctuary’ and ‘the Australian way’.

Look: all I want for christmas is no more GillKRudd, no more “climate change” and no more Socialist spin. Now what does it take to bring that about?

Australia to expel Israeli diplomat for killing Hamas jihad terrorist

You’d think they’d be happy that the Israelis took out a Hamas jihadist. But no, it’s all about the passports. “Australia moves to expel Israeli diplomat,” by Rod Mcguirk forAssociated Press, May 23 (thanks to Jihad Watch):

AndrewBolt:

On our MTR show today, I talk with Steve Price about the ludicrous and self-serving decision by Kevin Rudd to expell an Israeli diplomat. We talk about this with Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop, too, who refuses then to confirm or deny that the Liberals, if elected, would also extract more taxes from the mining industry.

No, not everyone in Labor would agree with Kevin Rudd’s wild decision yesterday to make an example of Israel, once thought of as our friend, by expelling one of its diplomats.

AWU boss Paul Howes actually wrote this two months ago. I doubt he (privately) thinks any differently today – and his piece even then warned of the anti-Israeli agitation that Rudd has now unleashed:  against the anti-Israel Labor of KRudd

Birds of a feather, flock together:

KRudd tries to buy himself a cushy position among other empty suits at the UN   (with your money, of course!)

Our aid for Rudd’s vanity

When he’s not expelling Israeli diplomats to appease Muslim countries, he’s offering aid bribes to African ones who may likewise back Kevin Rudd’s desperate campaign for a temporary seat on the UN Security Council:

AUSTRALIA will pump more than $400 million in foreign aid into Africa by 2015, as Prime Minister Kevin Rudd chases a seat on the United Nations Security Council.

Aid funding for Africa will more than double – from $163 million this year – despite Australia having few historical ties with the continent. The rise in spending will see hundreds of millions spent on helping Africa develop better farming practices while thousands of “development awards” will be offered.

But the money will also help promote Australian Rules football…

Nor is that the only cost of Rudd’s vanity:

TAXPAYERS paid a massive $700,000 for Governor-General Quentin Bryce’s trek to Africa to help win Australia a seat on the UN Security Council.

The boats keep coming:

Is this the Rudd Government’s Siev X – and will Rudd be vilified by the Left as a murderer as were John Howardand Peter Costello?

THE federal government knew a boat leaving Indonesia was in peril before it disappeared with more than 100 asylum seekers trying to reach Australia.

When will lefties admit that KRudd is far worse than Howard?

Even Fraser agrees: Rudd (far) worse than Whitlam

Free Speech no longer free under KRudd:

Remember the fulmination of Leftists such as David Marr against the wicked attempts of the satanic Howard Government to stifle free speech – attempts since matched, and more, by Kevin Rudd?

"INTERCEPTED" MEANS WELCOME TO KRUDDISTAN

Sail here, and you face this hell

Andrew Bolt

This will really show them KRudd means business:

PEOPLE believed to be asylum seekers staying at a three-star Darwin motel have been banned from speaking to the media… Up to 61 asylum seekers were transferred from Christmas Island to “an alternative place of detention” in Darwin late on Saturday.

But why is Rudd so reluctant to show how tough he’s being with these boat people?

UPDATE

Those boat people policies are working beautifully:

Immigration officials have been phoning churches and asking them about convents, monasteries and boarding houses where at least 100 people – mainly families and unaccompanied children now on Christmas Island – could be put up.

New arrivals wear the Pali terror scarf, the keffieh:  KRudd enables the killers of your children….

They just keep coming:

How many millions more will this boat cost us?

May is turning out to be a very big month for boats, which sure don’t seem deterred by Kevin Rudd’s “tough” new rules last month:

A boat carrying 92 asylum seekers has been intercepted near Scott Reef off the north west coast of Western Australia.

Other News:

Bribing children to believe

The KRudd Government has launched a new propaganda campaign aimed at convincing children the planet will fry from our gases (and Labor will save them): The Shout Out for Climate Change competition gives Australian students of all ages a creative platform to inform, engage and inspire others to discover more about climate change and take action.

Australia is being flooded with illegal welfare seekers…

Capacity exceeded on Christmas Island

Paige Taylor/The Australian

CHRISTMAS Island detention facilities are likely to tip over official capacity today despite a charter flight taking 53 people to the mainland.

There are now 1920 people in immigration detention on Christmas Island and 120 spare beds, but interpreters and Customs are now at Flying Fish Cove preparing to receive about 140 asylum seekers from boats intercepted last month.

Official capacity is about 2040, a spokesman from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship said.

Most of the people who left the island on this morning’s charter have been granted visas, and the plane delivered 12 Indonesian crew to detention in Darwin in preparation for court appearances or repatriation.

Earlier today, Opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison labelled Christmas Island a “taxi service” after an asylum-seeker boat slipped though Australia’s border security and announced its arrival in a triple 0 call.

Lets build 'em a bridge!

The Mohammedan invasion of Australia continues, with KRudd’s complicity:

KRudd’s latest boat in the armada

Andrew Bolt:

Yet another:

Another suspected asylum seeker boat has arrived off north-west Australia as the debate heats up on the future of the Christmas Island detention centre.

The latest arrival, a boat carrying 83 people, was intercepted yesterday by Australian authorities east of Christmas Island the same day a newspaper report claimed up to five-thousand detainees could be held on the island over four years.

UPDATE

And yet another again:

Another boat carrying asylum seekers has been intercepted in waters off the West Australian coast early sunday morning.

The government says the boat with 28 passengers and two crew members on board was intercepted north west of Adele Island.

Bridge to KRuddistan: Mohammedan Invaders Go Straight to Melbourne Now

Andrew Bolt:

Straight to Australia instead

Kevin Rudd’s boat people policy is collapsing, with Christmas Island now so full that the allegedly “vulnerable” are being moved to the mainland:

A GROUP of asylum seekers has been moved to Melbourne without visas as Christmas Island nears breaking point.

And 94 asylum seekers and crew picked up off Ashmore Reef last Thursday are being held aboard a navy ship until at least Wednesday, while authorities try to free up beds.

As another unauthorised boat was intercepted yesterday, authorities confirmed 20 “vulnerable” asylum seekers were removed from Christmas Island on Friday.

Eight went to the Melbourne Immigration Transit Centre at Broadmeadows and the remaining 12 to Brisbane. They included five unaccompanied minors and five family groups.

“No determination has been made on their cases as yet,” an Immigration Department spokesman said. “They’ve been chosen for transfer because they are vulnerable people.”

French police have closed down a makeshift shelter for illegal migrants Mohammedan invaders in Calais a day after it was opened.

The disused warehouse in the northern port was being used by about 100 migrants, mostly from Afghanistan.

The building was rented by an activist group, which turned it into a camp in defiance of a ban on giving shelter to illegal immigrants in the town.  Calais attracts migrants aiming to get into the UK. In September, a makeshift camp known as “the jungle” was closed.

The move was criticised by human rights groups, who argued that many migrants should be treated like refugees.  BBC

Did you know? Australia has a "People Smuggling Ambassador"

More coming all the time: Adelaide Now reports:

Boat people stand-off ‘Indonesia’s problem’

AUSTRALIA has rejected an Indonesian call for more help to resolve a long-running asylum seeker stand-off at a Javanese port.

More than 240 Sri Lankan asylum seekers have spent more than three months holed up on their rickety cargo boat at the port of Merak, in Java’s west.

Intercepted by Indonesia at Australia’s request in October, the Tamils do not want to come ashore because they fear they will be forced to wait years for resettlement.

They want instead to be offered a rapid resettlement deal like the one Australia used to coax 78 Tamils off the Oceanic Viking last year.  Of course!

Senior Indonesian officials this week indicated Indonesia would ask Australia for more help to resolve the stand-off.

But the Department on Foreign Affairs and Trade today made it clear the stand-off was Indonesia’s problem.

“The disembarkation of the passengers on the Merak vessel is a matter for the Indonesian government to resolve,” a DFAT spokeswoman said.

DFAT confirmed Australia’s People Smuggling Ambassador Peter Woolcott would travel to Jakarta “shortly” but indicated the Merak crisis would not be on the agenda.

“The Ambassador will be holding general discussions with the Indonesian Government about bilateral co-operation on people smuggling issues,” DFAT said.

Philip Ruddock predicts flood of 10,000 "boatpeople"

KRudd sez he has “no credibility”

What puzzles me is how this empty suit denies his responsibility  for the  Mohammedan invasion and launches ad hominem attacks on Philip  Ruddock instead. Is he totally detached from reality or is this the beginning of his undoing? And Turnbull, supposedly leader of the opposition, is nowhere to be seen or heard.

Here’s the latest:

The boats are back

Andrew Bolt

The navy has intercepted another boatload of suspected asylum seekers off Australia’s north-west coastline. Home Affairs Minister Brendan O’Connor said the boat was carrying about 56 passengers including two young children and two crew.

It was intercepted on Monday afternoon north-west of Ashmore Reef.

That’s another 360 people in seven boats in just three weeks. The full list of arrivals here. Already this is the fourth biggest yearly intake of boat people since 1976.

We’ve now had 1648 illegal boat people land this year – or 10 times the number last year – at an estimated cost of $65 million. At least 25 have died trying to get here.  As I said just yesterday, every new boat now becomes an issue for this Government, which controversially softened the laws against boat people last year.

Correction: at long last, Malcolm Turnbull, leader of the opposition shows a sign of life:

What we have to do now is recognise that (Rudd’s) policies have failed and have a thorough independent inquiry to assess what can be done to protect our borders once again…

Paul Maley and Amanda O’Brien / The Australian

KEVIN Rudd and the architect of the Howard government’s Pacific Solution, Philip Ruddock, yesterday clashed over whose administration was tougher on boatpeople, with Mr Ruddock claiming recent policy changes left Australia exposed to a “pipeline” of 10,000 unauthorised arrivals a year. (Each and everyone a Labor voter. Why should KRudd be worried?ed)

As Coalition figures lined up yesterday to take advantage of the surge in boatpeople, West Australian Premier Colin Barnett slammed the decision to grant asylum to 42 Afghan men whose boat blew up following an act of sabotage.
