Muslim Rights and Wrongs/Sultan Knish
Over the last decade the treatment of Muslims has dominated discussions about human rights in Europe, the United States and Israel. Whether it’s Jihadis seized on the battlefields of Afghanistan, domestic terrorists plotting death and destruction in London, Ramallah or Jersey City, asylum seekers from the coasts of Australia to England, or your regular old Abdul or Hamid who may be a law abiding citizen or a fanatical mass murderer in waiting– the Western human rights debate over the last 10 years comes down to the treatment of Muslims.
But is that all there is to the story? While left wing “human rights organizations” such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International (which even went the trendy route of appointing a Muslim Secretary General) have dived in to the business of protecting the rights of Muslims in the West with both feet, very little attention is paid to the rights of Hindus, Jews, Christians, Buddhists and others living in Muslim countries.

Iran launches fierce attack on West in U.N. rights forum
GENEVA (Reuters) – Iran launched a fierce verbal assault on the West on Monday, charging some European countries of subjecting Muslim communities to insult and violence and suggesting the United States and Europe aided terrorism.
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki told the United Nations Human Rights Council, to which it is bidding for election in May, that some Western states are gross violators of rights and are promoting lewdness to undermine family life.
“We need more cartoon riots…”
“There is a growing trend in applying double standards by the Western countries with regard to the freedom of expression and opinion,” Mottaki told the 47-member forum at the start of its main annual four-week session.
“Muslims throughout the world in general and the Muslim communities in Western countries in particular, have been the target not only of massive propaganda campaigns but outright social castigation and open violence, (by whom?) all under the pretext of freedom of expression,” he declared.
Another call to submit to Islam, what else?

How to deal with Mohammedanism:
“If politeness and ceremony be observed toward Mohammedans, they imagine they are feared and become arrogant; but in showing severity and rudeness, they are impressed with fear and respect, and they are supple and manageable.”

Indeed: Cartoons in Denmark = fatwas, effigy burnings, riots, and death threats. (See also: Pope Rage.) Chinese suppression of Uighur revolt with actual loss of life = Meh. “Muslim world’s rage missing over Uighurs’ plight,” by Moisés NaÃm for the Philadelphia Inquirer, July 19, via JW
Where are the fatwas? The angry marches in front of embassies, the indignant speeches? Where are al-Qaeda’s videos? In short, what does China have that Denmark did not? China has been actively discriminating against Muslims, and recently a number of them have been killed in violent street riots.

“We have double standards to maintain”- Bill Warner recognizes  the Arab holocaust on the Jews:
The German Holocaust created Israel and the modern Jew. Although not all Jews agree on the truth of the Torah, all Jews agree on the German Holocaust. To deny the truth of the Holocaust is a crime in Germany. German Holocaust denial will even get the ire of the cultural Jew who never crosses the threshold of the synagogue.
Notice that the term German Holocaust is used, not Holocaust, because there is a much earlier Holocaust that occurred under Mohammed in Arabia. But as we will see, the German Holocaust and its basis in a totalitarian ideology can be criticized, while the political ideology of Islam is beyond the pale of critical thought. We may savage the Nazi and his ideology, but the Muslim and his ideology of political Islam has to be respected with the silence of deliberate ignorance-denial and justification.
Since the German Holocaust is the standard of suffering for modern Judaism, it is interesting to use it as a measurement of the Arabian Holocaust.
