Ammanwhore presents "all sides" (of Islam)

Amanpour Promises ‘All Sides,’ Yet She Skews Debate as She Charges ‘Islamophobia’ Spurs Anti-Muslim Violence

This is one crazy b#*ch……..

Previous posts on Amanpour’s one-sided coverage of the Ground Zero Mosque:

September 12: “Amanpour Uses ABC’s This Week to Continue Her Crusade to Smear America as Islamophobic and Tout Rauf’s Cause”August 22: “Amanpour on One-Sided This Week: ‘Profound Questions About Religious Tolerance and Prejudice in the U.S.’”

After two shows featuring six advocates of the Ground Zero mosque, including Iman Faisal Abdul Rauf and his wife Daisy Khan, but not a single guest to counter Christiane Amanpour’s contention opposition “has raised profound questions about religious tolerance and prejudice in the United States,” ABC on Sunday decided to air a pre-recorded and edited “special This Week town hall debate, Holy War: Should Americans Fear Islam?” Amanpour promised: “We air the issue from all sides…” (News busters)

Right. Promoting all sides of Islam, that’s what she does.

Which reminds me: “Yesterday’s rally was very diverse. They had socialists, Marxists, AND communists!”

Too bad Ammanpour didn’t ask Saudi cleric Muhammad al Arifi about which side he’s on:

Fareed rubs it

Beats me how a creep like Fareed Zakaria, son of a radical imam,  could land a job with CNN and Newsweep, (from which he just resigned in order to misinform CNN watchers some more….)

Here, in typical Islamo-propagandist fashion, he praises Hezbollah as  tolerant and Jew-friendly.  Ron Radosh calls his bluff:

This reminds me of nothing less than the famous phony documentary the Nazis made about Theresienstadt as they were creating this showplace concentration camp to try to fool the world, to show everyone how good they were to those Jews they were actually sending to the death camps.

Read it here from Pajamas Media, or below the fold……

Other blurbs from Fareed:

Fareed Zakaria spoke last Sunday on CNN — on his weekly programFareed Zakaria GPS — with his usual haughty display of what he considers to be the great wisdom he regularly presents to his audience. The would-be secretary of State told his viewers this:

And now for the “Last Look.” With all the talk about places of worship and where they do and don’t belong, I wanted you to see this. This is the Magen Abraham synagogue. It’s not in Miami. It’s not in Tel Aviv. It’s in Beirut. That’s right, Beirut, Lebanon.

Space Age, space cadet, f*kcwit…..

When I first read this on Pamela’s site, I thought it was parody. Now that I’m reading it on the Guardian (of Muslims) “comment is free” site,  I think its beyond parody.

But then suddenly, it hit me: the writer,  a Raphaël Liogier,  is the director of the Observatoire du religieux (World-Religion-Watch.org) and a professor of universities at the Institut d’études politiques d’Aix-en-Provence and the Institut de management public et de gouvernance territoriale and he means what he says:

France’s attack on the veil is a huge blunder

Women donning the full veil are not against modernity but represent rather its sophisticated product, just like westernised Buddhists. The veil, surprising as this may seem, is good news for modern values. Some smart young women keep a niqab in their bag but only wear it in Paris’s Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, in order to draw attention to the fact that they belong to the best Muslim set, that they really have got that Muslim chic, something like the equivalent behaviour in a gay district. This deep western social movement is no threat to modern values, but rather vindicates the latter under unexpected aesthetic guise: it is so individualistic and depoliticised that it is more of a real threat for Islamism and terrorist networks themselves.

It is a massive blunder to fight this new, ultra-modern Islam. And it is not only France that is heading towards a colossal error of understanding – politically capable of spinning into historic proportions – but also Europe, the United States, and all the other post-industrial countries, blinkered by Islamophobia, who turn out to be incapable of catching up on their own deep cultural changes and recognising their own best interests. It is a kind of collective, generational jet lag.  Read it all>>

To which I can only say:  Raphaël, STFU!

UK foundation to distribute textbook that lauds Muslim world’s scientific and cultural heritage

Sep. 2, 2009

jonny paul, jpost correspondent in london , THE JERUSALEM POST

An educational foundation in the UK has announced plans to distribute to high schools a free book that highlights the scientific and cultural legacies of Muslim civilization.

1001 Inventions: Muslim Heritage in Our World is the creation of the Foundation for Science Technology and Civilization (FSTC), a Manchester-based organization set up to raise awareness of the contributions of the Muslim world to modern civilization.

FSTC said the contribution that Muslim and other civilizations have made to the modern world has been widely overlooked and that its team of academics has focused on debunking the myth of the so-called “Dark Ages of Civilization.”

Islamo Clones

No, I didn’t mean Clowns, I do mean clones. Just compare:

Here’s  Fathali M. Moghaddam, director of the “conflict resolution program at Georgetown University” in Washington, who says some Muslim youth may embrace violent causes because they believe they have no chance for upward mobility in their country.

Fitzgerald: CNN: An Inquiry on Why Muslims Become Muslim Terrorists (But Hold The Islam)

“They’re driven by a sense of humiliation”

F*kc, where did we hear that before? Isn’t Fathali M. Moghaddam from the Saudi sponsored Georgetown university spouting the same bullcrap we heard from Professor Riaz Hassan from Australia’s Flinders university,  reported by Adelaide Now on August 20 2009?

Recap: Fathali M. Moghaddam and his Lipstick on a Pig propaganda:

* Flinders university prof: Suicide bombings ‘almost unstoppable’

Its all our fault, you see, because “suicide bombing is mostly a desperate action to right social wrongs”, like Abu Ghraib. (He didn’t mention Gitmo, why not?) Making efforts to improve human rights – such as the treatment of (Muslim-) refugees – would halve the number of suicide attacks, he forecast, pointing out the treatment of Abu Ghraib prisoners in Baghdad led to another spike in suicide attacks.

Suicide bombers were spurred on by the humiliation suffered by those in their community, It would be impossible to stamp out suicide attacks unless real changes were made to improve social conditions in countries around the world, Prof Hassan said.

Terrorism is not confined to any faith or any culture. Terrorists are driven by varying impulses. Yet since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America, terrorism has often been associated with young Muslim men.  (Enough to make you puke! And its all our fault to point a finger at it!)Video Watch as CNN’s Christiane Amanpour investigates how one madrassa student is recruited to join the Taliban »

People often assume that Muslim youth who turn to violence are ill-educated fanatics inspired by visions of meeting virgins in paradise. But that portrait is rarely true, terror experts say. (On Winds of Jihad we never do that. We are well aware that the terrorists are usually well educated, better educated than their illiterate goat-herding brothers in the desert. We simply maintain that educated Islamic terrorists are more dangerous/ed)

“They are not crazy people,” says James Jones, author of “Blood That Cries Out From the Earth,” a book that examines the psychology of religious terrorism.

“They [terrorist groups] won’t recruit psychotic people,” Jones says. “Crazy people are unstable. That’s exactly what you don’t want.”

This is exactly the same kind of enemy propaganda spouted by  Riaz Hassan in Adelaide.

Basel Saleh, an assistant economics professor at Radford University in Virginia, blames da Jooozzz:

Saleh says if Israel did more to help improve Palestinians’ living conditions, fewer Palestinian youths would turn to violence.

Read the whole thing from CNN:

“You have to open a new path for them [Palestinians],” he says. “They want freedom of movement. Give them an airport, a port. Don’t demolish their schools and their universities. Pay attention to basic human rights.”

The anger felt by some Palestinian youth is also stoked by propaganda, says Michael Jacobson, a senior fellow in The Washington Institute’s Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence.

Hamas sponsors children television shows and summer camps that are designed to indoctrinate Palestinian children with the same message, Jacobson says. Video Watch Amanpour go inside a Hamas boys summer camp »

Hamas Terror Wipes Out 500 of Their Own (Nobody cares) Israel Kills Islamic Terrorist, World Screams Murder…

Imagine: if Israelis had done this:

Hamas torture brings Gaza reign of fear

Jason Koutsoukis, Gaza/ The Age (perverting everything)

reports on the murder of Hamza al-Shoubaki:

His fate is a chilling example of the terror inflicted on dissenters who have lived under the Hamas regime in Gaza since June 2007.

“In 2007, the death toll of Palestinians killed by Fatah or Hamas exceeded for the first time the number of Palestinians killed in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces,” said Hamdi Shaqqura from the Gaza-based Palestinian Centre for Human Rights.

Andrew Bolt wonders:

For some bizarre reason, Koutsoukis’s report on the reality of a regime tacitly backed by so many of the Left is illustrated by The Age with a picture that carries this caption:

Schoolgirls climb on the ruins of a building destroyed during January’s Israeli offensive in Jabaliya, northern Gaza Strip.

DALAL al-Shoubaki remembers the day Hamas sent its dreaded Internal Security Service to arrest her husband Hamza.

“It was July 25 last year. They came early in the day to our home and they took Hamza away without saying why,” Mrs Shoubaki told The Age this week.

Three weeks ago, the tortured body of the father of 13 was found dumped at Gaza’s Shifa Hospital, with two gunshot wounds to the head.
