Its not “that jihadist version” of Islam, there is no such thing.

There is only Islam and Islam mandates jihad and to ‘strike terror in the hearts of the disbelievers’- that has to be understood.

Islam must dominate and the disbelievers either forcibly converted or killed. If they submit to Islamic rule, they will be humiliated, subjugated to dhimmi status and forced to pay the jiziya.
